Beyonce & Jay-Z want to relocate to France for a year & get pregnant

bey3

I was pleasantly surprised to see that Beyonce, Jay-Z, Blue and their extended family seemed to take a nice long vacation in France in the late summer. Bey and Jay’s marriage seemed to have hit a rough patch, and many assumed they wouldn’t last much longer than the end of their On the Run tour. But as soon as the VMAs were over, the family packed up and went yachting, stopping in some port towns in Italy and France, and then staying in France before and after their final Paris concerts. They seemed to enjoy being tourists, checking out museums and not going to fashion week events. Their marriage seemed stronger because of it, and word is that Bey and Jay actually did renew their vows.

So, was it because of France? Did the Parisian air just soothe their troubled marriage? Perhaps. And according to UK gossips, Bey and Jay want to relocate to Paris for at least a year now. We’ve already heard that they were real estate shopping in Paris, so maybe this is happening:

The world’s most powerful hip hop couple are reportedly moving to France. Taking a step back from world domination to expand their brood, Beyoncé and Jay Z are expected to spend a year at a French chateaux, where they ‘hope to conceive their second child.’

The couple, who started a family when they welcomed Blue Ivy in 2012, are said to have fallen deeply in love with the culture and now plan to take 12 months out ‘enjoying’ their little one and the laid-back lifestyle. Earning a cool $95 million in the last year, the power couple – who married in six years ago – are allegedly concentrating on family with the relaxed gap year.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper on Saturday: ‘Beyoncé is keen to put down roots there because her mum’s side of the family are part-French and they adore the laid back lifestyle and culture. So next year, they’ll put music on the back-burner and enjoy France.’

Beyoncé, 33, and 44-year-old Jay Z spent a family vacation in Paris last month, enjoying cultural hot spots like the Eiffel Tower and the Picasso National Museum. The US natives even named the European destination on their recent On The Run tour and now reportedly plan to settle at the Chigny-les-Roses chateau in France, where Jay Z’s Cartier brand Armand de Brignac is produced.

The source continued to the paper: ‘They want to have some time doing very little, enjoying Blue Ivy and chilling out. They are hoping she will pick up the lingo too. And of course, it will be great for their French. They’re hoping to conceive their second child out there and taking a year out will allow Beyoncé to have a quiet, stress-free pregnancy.’

Representatives for the couple have been contacted by MailOnline for comment.

The sh-t stirring gossip in me wants to say that it would be easier to get away with a surrogate pregnancy if Beyonce and Jay “took a year off” in the French countryside somewhere. They could step out at this time next year with a surprise baby and be like “Oh, of course Beyonce was pregnant, don’t question it!” But hey, maybe she does want to get pregnant and she just wants to have some privacy. What would it be like to go a year without Beyonce gossip?

You know what? It doesn’t matter. The thing that makes this post important is that it’s not another Kardashian post. SO YAY.

  2. ... says:

    Me Paul.

  3. kri says:

Blue is rocking that hair!! I love it. I also like Bey best when she is looking so natural. I am a cynic though, so I’m onboard with the “chateau/surrogate” thing. It’s like a Lifetime movie. “Surrogate On The Run” or something.

  4. Talie says:

Paris is becoming big for American stars — same way London did in the early-aughts.

  5. doofus says:

    Blue Ivy is TOO CUTE!

    that’s all.

    • Miffy says:

I know, I rarely comment on Blue Ivy or Bey gossip in general but just had to say that is one beautiful little girl.

  6. bros says:

what did she do to her face?

  7. Chris2 says:

Thanks for another look at the Mona Lisa shot, I really love it to bits. (But also that one of Bey and Blue Ivy….the latter’s gorgeous hair!)
Really, by now you’d wonder why anyone buys certain magazines (UK at least), looking back on a year of doomladen certainties about divorce…..and obviously rubbing their hands in trouble-stirring glee. Shadenfreude, that’s the allure for them.
Good luck to B & J-Z, by heck I’d move to France for some r&r like a shot

  8. NeoCleo says:

I LOVE that kid’s hair. She just gets prettier every time I see her.

  9. QQ says:

Meh! is their time and their money, sure why not

  10. FingerBinger says:

Blue Ivy is cute. If they really did renew their vows that might be a bad sign. I always think of Seal and Heidi Klum when I hear about people renewing their vows. They did it every year and obviously it didn’t help because they’re divorced.

    • lucy2 says:

Mariah and Nick always made productions of it too. Turned out great for them as well, huh?
Maybe on a BIG anniversary (20, 30, 40 year etc) it might be a nice thing, but anything before that seems a bit questionable.

  11. Loopy says:

Well after all the ridicule she got on her first pregnancy , i wouldn’t blame her if she wanted to go far away and be pregnant in peace.

  12. word says:

If I had their money, I’d want to just pack up and move to whatever city I wanted and whenever I wanted. This family lives one amazing life ! So lucky. Even if they move to Paris, there will still be gossip and pics. It’s not like they will just disappear off the face of the earth.

    • lucy2 says:

Plus they post photos ALL the time.
I would do the same though, go live in Paris or somewhere else lovely for a year or whatever, if I could. And it’s probably a great time for their daughter too, they can travel or move without worrying about her schooling, and she’ll probably pick up a lot of French language skills too.

    OK. Bon voyage.

  14. Sozual says:

PR after that video of her looking infuriated happened at that basketball game a few days ago!

    • Rusty machine says:

I didn’t get infuriated from that video. I got high as a kite.

      • Sozual says:

No, I see someone trying to calm themselves down and zone out. He said something that pissed her off. She could pop pills, but I saw someone sober in that instance. Lol, maybe it is a country thing. I am 8 hrs from Houston.

      • Artemis says:

No she was definitely high. You’re in a minority as most people recognize ‘that face’ from a mile away. She also had the munchies, another sign of being high.

If you know B, you know she doesn’t calm herself by rocking, she is quite stoic and composed. The Elevator-gate showed she’s in control all the time with a big smile plastered on her face in the face of absolute chaos. But sure, in public with her husband at a game she’s ‘pissed off’. As if she would slip that publicly. She was high, out of control and it was fun to watch.

  15. Ag says:

    Blue is a cutie.

  16. Birdix says:

This idea makes me so green with envy that hit should turn my font green. A year off to spend with your young kid, in a chateau in France? After you’ve made more money than anyone could ever need? if their intent is to make the hoi polloi envious, it worked on this polloi.

  17. AG-UK says:

umm I didn’t realize Paris was laid back but I guess comparing it to NYC yes it might be.

    • Amy says:

Yeah Paris is not laidback. It’s the French equivalent of NYC. I like Paris but I don’t kid myself, it’s not some kind of relaxing paradise. Petty crime is worse in Paris and I find the street harassment towards women more aggressive than NYC.

But if they’re heading somewhere to the south of France, then yes it can be very relaxing.

  18. Val says:

Didn’t she JUST come back from “4 years off” or something? I feel like she takes so much time off, it’s exhausting.

    • Anna says:

LOL what are you talking about??? She did a huge world tour while raising a child and recording a secret album (and filmed all the music videos) in a year and then right after toured again. Where’s all this “exhausting time off”???

  19. SAKS says:

Ready for the European sequel of “Pillow Baby”: “Pillow Baby 2: Opération France”

  20. some bitch says:

I could go for a year without hearing from Beyonce or Jay-Z. Actually, make that five years minimum…

  21. K.B. says:

Hopefully they do it tout suite. I’d love to spend the next year completely Beyonce and Jay Z-free.

  22. silly you says:

She’s had some face work done, right? Her face looks different to me…

  23. iseepinkelefants says:

The Picasso Museum didn’t reopen until after they left (last weekend I think?) so if they can’t gt that right, the story might just be bs? Unless they meant the Louvre and again shoddy journalism.

Give them 3 months and they’ll get tired of it. France doesnt feed into the fame like NYC would. Or America for that matter. I’m sure they’ll get tired of people not recognizing them and kissing their asses.

  24. Sarah says:

She’s hooked on Xanax and yes she used a surrogate. Will do it again … Yawn
