Taylor Swift was considered by many people to be one of the best-dressed ladies of the Grammys. It’s not that I flat-out disagree, I just think the Elie Saab could have been reworked slightly and it would have been a lot stronger. I did love this blue-green color on Swifty, and she was one of the few ladies wearing a really bold jewel tone. I also liked that she went matchy-matchy with her Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. But yeah… I have issues with the miniskirt underneath a big ball-gown skirt. Still, it feels like she was trying something different and we should encourage that.
Oh, and Tay-Tay has made up with Kanye West, six years after he Kanye’d all over her VMA win. They were seated close to each other and they posed for photos. It looked like she went over to him and gave him a hug. Aw.

And finally, here’s Annie Lennox being fabulous. Annie with Hozier was easily the best part of the night. But it was also pretty awesome when Annie totally froze out Giuliana Rancic when Giuliana asked about Annie contributing a song to the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack.

I like the color on Taylor, but I hate the dress. It’s too mullet-y and I don’t like the weird straps at the top. I do like her shoes though. Taylor is at the top right now so of course everything she wears will be on the best dress list.

If the miniskirt had must been full length, it would have given me Sabrina vibes (the Audrey Hepburn version).
The colour looks good on Taylor but the dress and the shoes are just not right, I love that she and Kanye made up though, the smiles looked pretty genuine, there’s a video going around on tumblr of them high-fiving as well, they’re adults and character development is a beautiful thing.
I find Taylor’s dress a little heavy but the color is pretty and the earrings looked great with it. She has her own natural hair color and it looked glowing and healthy.
I would really like it if the skirt wasn’t mulleted like that. Pretty color on her.

It’s awful, and the whole thing just looks like it was designed purely as a way for her to almost flash her genitals in a teeny mini and get away with it, because you can’t possibly be vulgar while draped in that much fabric. If she wants to wear a vulva grazing mini, she should just wear it. It’d look a hell of lot better than this mess.
Annie Lennox looks amazing, and not that she cares, but she looked 1000% hotter than Madonna.
They all look awful except for Annie, who shouldn’t be judged by starlet standards anyway.

Taylor’s dress is almost there – gorgeous color and fabric. I love the color and style of the shoes with the dress. Very pretty. I don’t like the dress cut out in the middle with the Ariana Grande style mini skirt underneath – that fabric and those shoes were meant for a finer, more elegant design. I don’t like the strappy things on either side either – they make the top of the dress look too “constructed”, as if the straps are there to compensate for a design flaw or something .
Taylor’s dress is a beautiful colour, suits her so much with her tan. Wow Katharine’s dress and hair style are both horrid

Didn’t think the Rancic freeze out was cool at all. You’re only there to sell something so how about not acting like you’re too good for the whole thing. It doesn’t cost you anything to be gracious.
She’s a huge talent, but I’m sick of actors/actresses/music folks acting like they’re above it all as if the commercial aspect of their work was just some little miracle, and they didn’t sell their soul for it.
Agreed, I thought that was odd. She chose to be a part of that project. And the movie comes out in less than a week – obviously she would get thrown a question about it seeing as it’s her latest work. If she thinks she’s above answering questions about it, don’t partake in that particular project. It’s really that simple. She is an incredibly established artist, she could’ve passed on the soundtrack if she felt so strongly about it.
I usually hate hate hate anything she wears but This I loved.. the color, the age appropriateness of it all The venue appropriateness of it all, The Makeup looked great in HD, The hair didn’t look corny as is her normal wont.. So yeah Major WIn.. still wont download her cd even for free though even though after that shake it up crap it’s been pretty Golden from what i’ve heard in passing
