This was the âbreaking hair newsâ yesterday, only yesterday was pretty Kardashian-intensive, so I saved this story for today. It seems that Khloe Kardashian went dramatically blonde over the weekend. This is not her first foray into blonde â when she was a lot younger, she was blonde for a while. And over the past three or four years, sheâs done various blondes a couple of times, hasnât she? I actually think Khloeâs natural hair color is lighter than her sistersâ hair. Both Kim and Kourtney are dark brunettes and Khloe tends to dye her hair darker to fit in with them. When really, her different coloring and different body type probably belies her different paternal lineage.
So, will Khloe stick with this color? Eh. Khloe is going through some physical changes with the Pinocchio Butt, the lip injections, the breast implants (Iâm pretty sure) and her internal-organ-defying waist-training. Does she want to look more or less âKardashianâ? I donât know. I have to say, I donât think she looks half bad with the blonde though.
Meanwhile, even People Magazine says that Khloe is probably going to be Kelly Osbourneâs replacement on E!âs Fashion Police. As we discovered last week, Kris Jenner scored a reported $100 million, four-year deal with E! that not only covers the reality show and various spin-offs, but will include Kardashians in various other E! shows. Which means Khloe was already heading towards being one of E!âs red carpet commentators, and now E! is close to making it official.
E! may not have to look very far for Kelly Osbourne’s replacement. PEOPLE has confirmed that KhloĂ© Kardashian is interested in joining Fashion Police now that Osbourne has left the show.
A source told PEOPLE that discussions with Kardashian, 30, are already underway, and that Giuliana Rancic would like to see the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star to join the show.
Kardashian is hardly a stranger to red carpet kommentary. She was one of several E! personalities that the network dispatched to the Oscars for its pre-show coverage. She also did a stint on E! News from 2013-14, in addition to starring in her own spinoff Kourtney & Khloé Take the Hamptons.
Do we just have to close our eyes and accept this? Ugh. The Kardashian women are so awful at this kind of think-on-your-toes live coverage. I mean, sure, give Khloe a chance to audition, maybe even give her a tryout. But sheâs going to be awful.

I dare say Khloe has a much better fashion sense than Kim. Kim always wears clothing 2 sizes too small and not appropriate for her height or frame. Plus all the disasters are picked by Kanye who needs to stick to what he knows and stay out of the Fashion Business completely.
Hate all you want, even on her worst day–Kim Kardashian is still beautiful. Fake or not, she is exotic looking. I would dress her completely different, however, if I were her Wardrobe a Consultant or Personal Stylist.
They both have ghastly fashion sense & I have never seen them look good in anything. Both of them always look like they are about to burst out of whatever they are wearing. Admittedly, Khlozilla doesn’t usually look as cheap & nasty as Kummy does every time she’s papped (ie the entire time). If one’s idea is idea of beauty is cheap & tacky, then yeah I guess she’s a beauty

It’s not hating to point out that these women (Kris and the oldest three daughters, I won’t pick on the Jenner girls just yet) are barely comprehensible when they aren’t talking about themselves. They really make my ears bleed.
Khloe looks a bit on the ridiculous side pouting her lips like that. It’s quite off putting, actually. At this point, Kelly is starting to look pretty good, and I’m sorry she’s gone.
I’m sorry. I’ve never watched even one episode of KUWTK and I gave to say I disagree with your assessment. Truly think that being a host on Fashion Police would be right up her alley and that she would get along well with the other hosts.
While I realize that your blog is probably so over this entire family— give the girl a chance.
To be honest, I’m tired of all the vitriol , hate and envy of this family. While there certainly is much to be criticized— IMO this family gets a fair amount of negative press that is probably highly over-inflated and some of it undeserved.
Have you ever watched Khloe on one of those E Red Carpet specials talking about fashion? She is not good at it. She knows nothing about fashion and has nothing creative to say about it. She literally just poses for the camera, nods her head, and lets everyone else do the talking. She was also horrible as a host on The X Factor and that’s why they replaced her. This has NOTHING to do with hate or envy, it’s just THE TRUTH.
Again, give the girl a chance. If she sucks at it–someone will let her know. When I tune in to anything that is horrible programming or bad acting! I simply change the channel.
Certainly we are all free to do that. No one is forcing us to watch.

This was the general consensus of every single person that watched her pre-carpet coverage. A lot of people talked about Khloe seeming to be drunk and generally doing a terrible job with her hosting duties.
Hosting isn’t easy-you have to be a relaxed and focused at the same time, you have to be comfortable yet charismatic, and you have to think on your feet. Not everyone is cut out for that.
She’s been “given a chance” and she sucks at it. She should try her hand at something else. She even hosted Chelsea Lately when Chelsea was away and she wasn’t good at that either. She just needs to realize that this sort of thing is not for her. A lot of people like Fashion Police and want to see the show do well. They need to hire QUALIFIED people who know about the fashion world and have good insight.
She was awful on the Red Carpet coverage, and I saw that was a pretty widely held opinion. E won’t do anything about it, hiring these otherwise useless people is all part of the contract they signed with Satan, and by that I mean Kris.
She was completely awful on The X Factor. I actually thought she’d do a good job on that, because of all the Kardashians she seems to be the smartest (which I realize is relative in that family) and have the quickest wit and can think the fastest on her feet. But she was sooooooooo bad. All she had to do was read off a prompter and she was still terrible. Like, laughably, embarrassingly, obviously horrible. And she contributed nothing to E!’s red carpet coverage. Seriously, she’s had multiple opportunities and hasn’t been even remotely competent in any of them.

The Kardashians are not actors, singers, writers, artists, etc. They sell themselves. When you sell yourself you have no cause to complain about people being mean to you. If they don’t like it they can return to relative obscurity and leave us all in peace.

Khloe actually doesn’t bother me much, it’s Kim and Kanye that I cannot stand. This being said, she is a terrible TV host, as her past forays into it have shown. I suppose she could improve over time, but I don’t know. I’m always kind of surprised how truly awful she is at hosting, as she actually has some personality, but none of that comes out when she’s hosting, she is just so boring and awkward.

I disagree. She has had many more chances than far more deserving people. She was a disaster during the Oscars coverage, and she was fired from her last hosting gig for lack of charisma, presence, and mastery of the English language. Sure, mommy can keep buying her chances, but she in no way deserves them. She doesn’t even bother to prepare or work to get better. Frankly, it’s sickening that she is even being considered.
I disagree with some of the points NGBoston made but I do agree that I don’t understand all the intense hate for this family. I hate Bill Cosby but the Kardashians are just mindless entertainment for people. They don’t seem to cause any real harm IMO. It’s odd to me. Just sayin….

The entire network is being overrun by the Kardashian/Jenner crew. I don’t even remember the last time I tuned into E! to watch anything. It’s now a completely useless channel to me.
None of them are good at observing and reporting on people or events outside themselves because they are all narcissists. Anything outside their little Kardashian-centric world throws them for a loop.

The only Kardashian sisters who consistently look nicely dressed are Kourtney (preggers or not) and Demon Mother Kris. Kourtney actually might know something about fashion also from her work on their store and elsewhere.
Khloe is unlikely to do any better on Fashion Police than she has with all the other opportunities handed to her. She desperately needs real training before she ever gets in front of a microphone again. She would benefit from going through a good relevant program at a specialized or general school even if she doesn’t do a full degree program. She needs to be surrounded by tough critics, both teachers and other students, instead of yes-people on the K payroll. She needs to seriously work on her voice, her posture (none of the K sisters know how to stand or sit properly), her stage presence, her ability to talk clean, and her knowledge of the world beyond her tiny circle. If she’s really interested in fashion, she needs training in that area also because she doesn’t have much natural savvy in that area and certainly doesn’t know how to dress for her body. Otherwise she will continue to fail at such projects. She has a brain, she just needs to learn how to use it more.
You can’t expect these girls to actually work for something, although I agree with everything you said. But why bother getting better at something when E is happy to give you chance after chance, even after you’ve proven that you are not capable of the job?

Will Khloe be a fan fav on Fashion Police? Yes because of the fanatic Kardasian fan base. But she have proven to be a bland commentator and has as less than average (in the $million dollar range) girls sense of style. She needs to hon up on the fashion icons, industry and trends other than in her Kardasian bubble. She’d be a lateral Osbourne replacement. I’m sure E is expecting her to recruit special guests to the show (her family or the many one note music and model gang she hangs out with). I like that they are finally telling people what the commentator’s are wearing. Since the show began, at some point on nearly every show, I wanted the designer ID’d (usually for a Rancic outfit or for Joan’s jewelry.)
