Today, a judge granted Britney Spears an extended restraining order, preventing ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib from having any contact with the pop star for three years. Adnan has had a lot of trouble with the law recently, being charged with three felonies after he tried to run over a proccess server – charges which could land him in jail for up to seven years. He plead guilty. The extended restraining order comes on the heels of news of Britney’s secret phone calls to Adnan and Sam Lutfi, his partner in crime.
Britney Spears got a break today — whether she knows it or not. A judge just ordered Adnan Ghalib to stay completely clear of Brit for three years.
You’ll recall Brit’s conservators already got a temporary restraining order prohibiting Adnan from having contact with the famous conservatee, after Adnan allegedly tried torpedoing the conservatorship.
Adnan was a no show for today’s hearing, so the judge gave the green light for a permanent injunction.

This is great news for Britney’s well-being. She has an addictive personality, and it will take legally separating her from her past before she’ll be able to get better. Who knows what went on during those secret telephone calls, but it can’t have been good. Britney’s father is running her life right now, and though that may be a good thing in the long run, it wouldn’t be hard for Adnan to convince her that she was being taken advantage of – even though it’s Adnan that’s the bad guy.
It’s not surprising that Ghalib didn’t show up for the hearing, though you’d think he’d make even a little effort, considering his reputation at the moment. Hopefully this longer lasting restraining order will give Britney more time to get better.
Just more reminders of the type of life she was leading just a short year ago. Hollywood is brimming with scum like Ghalib and Lutfi. There’s no shortage of unscrupulous leaches lurking in clubs, hotels, industry studios and just about anywhere else performers/celebrities frequent.
You have to wonder if Britney has at a shot at a long term healthy life when her father has to do take corrective measures to protect her.

Its not a conspiracy theory either, think about the publicity that wouldve surrounded her as she unraveled. That media wouldve reached the Middle Eastern world where it wouldve been trumpeted as proof of Western infidels immorality.The images of her coming apart were documented lovingly by the press and papps that these 2 guys GAVE OPEN ACCESS TO HER. ITS A FACT, that her music and that of other pop tarts at its peak was held up by Al-Jazeera as proof of our decadence and need to fall. Think about the accolades the journalist who threw his shoes at Bush got, they danced in the streets in many of these countries. (Well – so did WE a little). But it isnt paranoid to think that there was some alterior motive behind the sheer PERSISTENCE of these 2 guys. The TIMING of them BOTH showing up in her life and her subsequent meltdowns. We heard of her being drugged and passed around at the parties and clubs that she was being dragged to night after night, looking haggard, unkempt and blurry. You wondered if Lufti and Adnan wre SO concerned about her why were they taking out every nite to be ogled and set her up to look like a lunatic. Its the Howard K Stern plan, make your target so lacking in credibility that even if they ASK for help from someone else their word is SO DISCOUNTED no one pays them any attention. Its a helluva a way to do a quasi-Mafia style “bust out” of a “cash cow” isnt it? Dont underestimte the vileness of some of these people, I lived in LA for years and the HERD of those who want to be famous are zebras, running in mass while the predators pick off the slow, stupid and innocent – I’ve seen it with my own eyes. The people who were around her originally were pushed away, as she was mentally poisoned against anyone who might come between them and her money.
One day she’ll come to and realize that her father saved her life. Maybe after Jerry Brown gets done with Howard K Stern’s ass and the story comes out in full about how he murdered Anna Nicole Smith in a slow deliberate way and then murdered her son, maybe, just maybe then Britney will get it.
Unlike Anna, she’ll be ALIVE to get the lesson.
