How many scenes will feature CHemboy shirtless?

    • burnsie says:

Legit. That’s honestly all I wanna know.

    • Abby_J says:

      As many as possible, please!

    • Booopyybetttes says:

      Ugh

Apparently no one cares about whether he’s shirtless or not. See the just 27 posts this topic has generated here since june 5. Interest levels in this film and its new lead actors are nonexistent.

This sequel without Snow White will FLOP majorly – it was a very VERY bad (not to mention misogynistic) idea.

It also was a slap in the face to the lead actress, Kristen stewart, who made the previous film a smash with her fan base.

Oh…and Please don’t yammer on about hemsworth or Theron. Theron’s never opened a hit film in her life, while hemsworth can’t do it without being a marvel comic character. So unless ‘the huntsman,’ has a hulk and iron man guest appearance, or Thor’s hammer under that ‘shiny leather,’ they can forget putting butts in seats…it won’t be happening….

For all of 40 yr old Charlize Theron’s talk of feminism, she’s proving she gives two shites about Stewart, the lead actress who made it a hit and is the sole reason she even has this current gig….nor does she care about the female perspective and female centric aspect of the first film – because once again Theron is hopping on a vehicle that portends to glorify ‘THE GUY.’ Make it about HIM.

This will get rejected sooooo bad.

Ooh mama like. I don’t care what anyone says he is yummy. Damn you Patacky….

  3. Abbott says:

I don’t think Jake is a movie star, he’s an actor. A really good one. I think he tried the ‘movie star’ thing and nobody dug it.

    • blue marie says:

Completely agree Abbott, he is a great actor.

    • Norman Bates' Mother says:

So true. And judging by his recent interviews, he realizes it. He tried to be one with Prince of Persia and that terrible rom-com, failed and now he tries to pick good movies and not necessarily the ones that make someone a star. But he is a wonderful actor with a big range.

    • Tiffany :) says:

I think he is a really great actor, but I also think he is a movie star. Being a “movie star” doesn’t mean that everything you do is a blockbuster, but I think it means that you can carry a movie. He does this repeatedly. His name being attached gets projects funded.

    • lucy2 says:

I agree – and I generally prefer the actors to the movie stars. To me a movie star is equally, if not more, about the fame and glamor and all that stuff, but an actor is about the work and then sort of disappears between projects.

    Works for me.

  5. EN says:

Chris is just too bland for my taste, he is missing something something je ne sais quoi as French say.

    • seesittellsit says:

Talent, luv, the je ne se quoi you’re looking for is talent. But . . . who cares?

Of course one seeks in a partner humor, intelligence, empathy, awareness . . . and then there are those few people who you don’t care if they watch “The Flintstones” with breakfast . . .

      • Ankhel says:

He reminds me of my brother-in-law. Huge, handsome, blond dude. To shortsighted to be anything but an optimist, to dumb to be anything but frank.

My sister’s convinced all women must want him. I privately think he’s too much like a big, gentle dog.

    • hmmm says:

I actually loved him in ‘Rush’. He’s not a great actor, yet I believed. I also believed him in the Thor films- his actorish Shakespearian speechifying while Iron Man decimated that moment between Thor and Loki was aces in my book. The man has a sense of humour. And he tries and he is pretty to look at even though he is not my type.

I tried watching the first Huntsman but I just couldn’t get past Kristen Stewart’s godawful acting. and gave up after 30 minutes. I will watch him as a romantic lead, for sure. On DVD.

  6. Mia4S says:

They are trying really, really hard with this Huntsman crap and I could not be LESS interested. Love Blunt, love Chastain, Charlize rocks but…it’s all so forced!

Jake Gyllenhaal is not a movie star. Good actor yes. There really aren’t many movie stars left (and basically no new ones). Concept is king (and queen!)

  7. LAK says:

So that’s why he is in England.

  8. EC says:

Shots fired!!! I totally think Jake G is a BIG movie star. He can do 90% of it (I personally think he takes himself a bit too seriously to fully commit to something like Prince of Persia). Love seeing him on screen

  9. Gilda says:

    The Huntsman costume looks dumb.

Jake is alright but he doesn’t do much for me physically. Everest looks amazing though.

I wish all these models like Gigi Hadid and Karlie KLoss would go away. There are so many super famous celebrities who have no talent or who get there because their parents are famous. Also blaming Taylor Swift.

  10. Bread and Circuses says:

That is an incredibly pretty man.

I actually like a lot of his acting too, but I admit, my first impression is always, “Wow, he’s so gorgeous.”

  11. P'enny says:

    ewww – no

  12. Ashling says:

The costume looks cheap and the hair seems off.

  13. Me too says:

Not being a movie star is a GOOD thing. It means you have a shot at being a quality actor.

  14. lucy2 says:

“Drake looks so good, Justin Bieber called him daddy.” Someone MUST photoshop Drake into our favorite Bieber photo, the one of the security guard lifting him into his carseat.

Elizabeth Banks looks AMAZING in that dress. Love it, and so happy for her success with PP2.

  15. msd says:

When trying to figure out if someone is a movie star or not, I always think : does my mother know who this person is? If she doesn’t, I tend to think they’re not.

  16. leidub311 says:

OMG. I have loved Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead since I was 14!!!!!! Still do. Love, love LOVE! Thanks for the great read!
