Dina Lohan gets a Twitter account, insanity ensues

nyf project runway finale 2 200209
This is too good to be true. Dina Lohan supposedly has a Twitter account, and she brings just as much of the crazy as you think she would. Just like Michael Lohan’s blog before her, this will prove to be a treasure trove of self-promotion and shameless attention-seeking.

She started Twittering on March 14th, and her first Tweet was this little gem (which, as it turned out, was false).

oK I WANT TO SAY right now that there is absolutly NO warrant out for Lindsay right now the truth will come out so everyone can stop specula

And yes, Twitter’s 140 character limit cut Dina’s rant off mid-sentence. No one sat her down and explained to her how Twitter works, because six days later she was still complaining that her entire posts weren’t going up. Here are three tweets, in order, displaying her technological ineptness.

i have heard from some people like @wendywings that tech support is not censoring me there is a “limit” well how come i type more but when i

see it happened AGAIN did everyone see that? i have spent so much time typing heartfelt messages and it lets me when i post it they are shor

@davidplundberg No i believe that is the two minute limit to type because when i start typing it counts down why would they regulate the amo

I’m just going to jump to conclusions and assume that she meant to say “the amount of words I can type.” Here’s why, Dina. Because it’s not a blog. It’s Twitter. If you want to write long “heartfelt” messages about how good a mother you are, please feel free to get a blog like your ex-husband. We all saw how well that turned out.

When she’s not whining about the way Twitter works, she’s calling her daughter Lindsay “one of the greatest actresses of her generation” (I kid you not) and yelling in all caps at people who comment on her Tweets. Her Twitter page is also proof that Lindsay got her spelling and grammar skills, or lack thereof, from her semi-illiterate mother. Though her father may use circular logic, you have to give him props for the use of proper English. Dina also defends Linday’s recent Fornarina commercial (she doesn’t even bother spelling the brand correctly); a fender-bender Lindsay was in yesterday; Lindsay’s weight loss, and her own parenting skills. She also spends a few posts yelling at her younger son Cody to stop using the desktop computer and to answer the phone.

There are few celebrities that actually anger me, but Dina Lohan is at the top of that list. She’s messed up one of her kids; shouldn’t she spend more time nurturing for the rest of her children and making sure that they don’t end up like their older sister? Instead, she’s shoving them into the business and spending her time updating Twitter every five minutes. The saddest part is that the image she’s chosen as her profile picture is of her receiving her Mother of the Year award. Talk about finding validation in the wrong places.

Update: This is not Dina Lohan’s official twitter, and the account was faked by a 24 year-old guy from Michigan.

    Good one, Geronimo!

I’d be surprised if that was fake. It seems too much like the stuff we’ve actually heard her say in person.

cant stand this woman..but to defend the “up the nose” pictures..it is called the “chin up”…old gals (like myself) always do a “chin up” before the camera flashes to avoid the even worse “old lady neck”, sometimes we give too much “chin up”….

Reading her twitters makes her sound as dumb as she acts. I find it really funny that she can comment on what is a lie and what is a truth as it relates to her daughter when she lives 3000 miles away from her.
