Do you guys remember when Jennifer Lopez first acknowledged publicly that she was dating backup dancer Casper Smart? I think it was around their one year anniversary, at least that’s when I remember her tweeting to him and talking about him to the press. The jig was up by that point in that we’d seen Lopez and Smart together in countless paparazzi pics and on vacation several times.
There’s a similar situation going on with Heidi Klum, 42, and her now 29 year-old art dealer boyfriend, Vito Schnabel. These two have been together for over a year and they’ve been papped on multiple sunny vacations in that time. Heidi has now deigned to acknowledge her love for Vito publicly with an Instagram selfie she posted on his 29th birthday. (Above) She wrote “I love you my V HAPPY BIRTHDAY”
As Yahoo! Celebrity points out, this isn’t the first time that Heidi has posted a selfie with Schnabel, she first posted a photo with him on Instagram about a year ago.
So they’ve been together for well over a year, she waited to tell the public she loved him, and it looks like they’re serious. Heidi has been somewhat smart in her boyfriend rollout, although I don’t know how clever she was in her choice of a boyfriend. I’m Heidi’s age (exactly) and while I occasionally get hit on by guys in their late 20s, it’s hard for me to imagine actually dating them. I’m in such a different point in my life now than I was in my late 20s and early 30s. Still, it looks like Heidi is having fun and this isn’t a situation where she plucked the guy out of his teens like Sam Taylor-Johnson and her husband Aaron. Also, Vito seems to like older women who are famous, he’s previously dated Demi Moore and Elle Macpherson.
Yahoo! Celebrity wonders if these two are going to get engaged soon. I hope Heidi isn’t that foolish, but she definitely could be. I miss her with Seal. I want to see Seal coupled up with some chick who isn’t inappropriately young for him. I wonder if he’s mocking the crap out of Heidi’s relationship behind her back.

Yes!!! And it was such an epic love story, how her and seal fell in love after meeting at a hotel lobby while she was pregnant with Lenni. I always thought it was beyond sweet with seal been there for her while she gave birth to Lenni and how he is now her daughter. However, yes this is the but I’m not of the who, what or why of the demise in the downfall of the relationship but I’m sure they had reasons. Heidi’s relationship with this kid ( I’m aware his not but I can’t shake the feeling he is), has always appeared fickle to me. Like this was just a summer rebound thing, after the body guard sitch. Idk, I’ve always had the feeling she was way more into this kid then he was and this was just another celeb notch on his art collecting/ dealering belt.
She shoved her love for Seal in our faces, renew vows yearly, gushed about her love and then dumped him. Maybe she should keep her love declarations to herself. Never understood people who need to give messages to their partners, when they are probably feet away. Hope Seal is doing great, he deserved better.
Did she dump him? I thought she cheated on him and he dumped her. Must have her mixed up with someone else.

I love Timber Timbre! That guy is not a looker, but he has an amazing voice and he writes beautiful songs. Bedroom skills aside, I can get falling for someone just because of these two reasons. I used to have a major celebrity crush on Glen Hansard just because of his voice. The kind of crush women here have on Chris Hemsworth. The song “In These Arms” still does it for me.

I’m 41 with a 31 year old husband. He’s the love of my life and we’re happier every year we are together. Seriously, I wish every woman could find a man that makes them feel as loved as I feel. The only “work” is dealing with how other people feel about our age difference!

Heidi proves what Whitney Cummings said is true. In that first pic of her she looks skeletal, no hyperbole. Her face is losing its amazing beauty in her quest to be very, very thin.

She must have very good genes. I’ve read several times that she smokes like a chimney and we see her sunbathe all the time, but still she looks like she’s in her thirties.

Sigh. Everybody’s different, but I dated two men in their 20s when I was 35 and they were sweet and beautiful, but I was so bored with both. I just can’t imagine it at 42. I like Heidi, but I wonder about her common sense sometimes. Oh well, none of my business.
It’s been awhile for me, but I dated younger guys in my mid-30’s too. There was one guy who was very interested in me — he was gorgeous and probably 12 or 13 years younger than me– but it was like talking to an 8th grader. I’m 41 now and can’t imagine it.

35-27. He insist he’s 28 lol. Well mine is good looking, sweet, kind but nothing else. No future with him, no intellectual talks. Frankly even the sex is boring. Sweet but boring. I stay with him now fo feat of hurting him. I will give him 6 months but no more. The dream is over for me. I need more in a man. Young age has no more value at this point in my life
Well, he has a preference for older women, always has, and he does have a career. Even though she’s a very busy businesswoman, she has a free spirit quality about her. It’s having four kids that could be an issue, but that’s with any relationship when getting serious with someone. Children can affect the relationship as your focus will always be on them so much, except when off with their father or mother.
I do miss Heidi and Seal together. What a glamorous couple they were. Seal has been working on his new album, back with Trevor Horn (yay), for what seems like forever. When is it coming out? I keep waiting. He keeps releasing little teasers and snippets of music saying it’s coming.
Also, there is only a 13-year age difference between these two. With Casper and J-Lo, it’s an 18-year age difference. Casper is younger than Vito and J-Lo is four years older than Heidi.
But neither of these guys is anything to drool over.
His father recently had a child with a woman 30 years his junior. His previous stepmother was significantly younger than his father as well. Maybe Vito prefers the age difference in the opposite direction.
I’ve always dated younger men and I can tell you that I hope I’ve finally learned my lesson. My last boyfriend was 32, (I’m 38), but the age difference felt like 16 years rather than six. I guess some men just take a really, really long time to mature. I wish I could find a guy five years older than me that wasn’t looking for a woman fifteen to twenty years younger than him lol. But, I have to give her props. It’s nice to see the tables turned every once in awhile.
6 years isn’t a huge age difference in terms of digits, but I get what you mean. That emotional immaturity.

When she and Seal split she was already dating the Bodyguard who she treated like her kids new “father” she even talk about how much her kids loved him. With in the span of two years her kids lost their father and the man pretending to the new “father”, so in a way I think it good that she not letting this one around the kids.

Wasn’t Seal horribly abusive to Heidi? I seem to remember some of that came out during the divorce. She seems a bit flaky to me, but relatively harmless. I hope her children are doing well. Flaunting new relationships in front of them and encouraging them to attach to other adults who will very likely disappear is very damaging to children.

Funny she was such a devoted Kom th email when she had to justify how she ended up with the bodyguard immediately after her divorce. Never see her with her kids now. She is very calculated. People are wondering why she’s with him. Why is he with her? At 29 why would you want to be with 2x divorcée with 4 children?
He has three half siblings by two different women. Maybe he likes her and her kids and is used to making blended families work.

Vito is a lush and on his way to being a full blown drunk. His family’s super rich and they’re happy to have someone else (who has a vested interest in maintaining a good public profile) keeping tabs on him and his drinking problem. But whatever Heidi Klum. This relationship is not upping your profile.

I don’t know how women can go from one man right to another and each time declare undying love. When I see these divorced celebrities working all the time and then vacationing abroad with these passing flings, it really makes me wonder how much time they spend with their kids. I think it’s a very empty life. Especially for the children being raised by nannies.
