The cute young stars were out at the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix premiere in London on Tuesday night.
London’s Mirror reports that 17 year-old star Daniel Radcliffe said he was anxious to pick up women at the after party, quoting him as saying “I hate these events but there are loads of gorgeous women. But, as for who pulls most out of me and Rupert… I couldn’t possibly say.”
They say that model Sophie Dahl went up to talk to redhead Rupert Grint, 18, instead of Radcliffe. Burn.
Radcliffe didn’t do too badly with the ladies that night though. The Sun has pictures of women swarming all over him at the after party, and say he spent three hours posing with fans.
Other stars at the after party included 17 year-old Emma Watson, who plays Hermione Granger, and 19 year-old Katie Leung, who plays Cho Chang. The Sun says they danced to “cheesy music” at the party.
Radcliffe is quoted as saying he’s looking for a girlfriend while his on-screen love interest, Katie Leung, says she is “miserably single.” Someone predictably asked her if she would hook up with Radcliffe, and she said “Maybe - I’m keeping my options open.”
Super rich Harry Potter author JK Rowling was also at the party. When told that fans had camped overnight to see their favorite Harry Potter stars at the premiere, she said “No. They haven’t? Poor, poor things.”
The last book in the Harry Potter series, The Deathly Hallows, is out on July 21st. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix premieres in the US on July 11.
Here are pictures from the premiere including Helena Bonham Carter, David Tennant, Lily Allen, Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley), and twins James Phelps and Oliver Phelps. Thanks to PRPhotos for these pics.
