Remember all the glowing crap that Affleck said about Blake Lively after he cast her in The Town? Remember that fawning joint interview he did with her? Affleck strikes me as the type of guy who goes for convenience (the nanny) and who needs a lot of admiration and ego-stroking until it gets too serious to handle. Sienna doesn’t give a crap and she doesn’t get too serious. She’s around Ben, so she’s just his type.
Meanwhile there are rumors that Ben Affleck is so good in Batman v. Superman that they gave him more screen time than Henry Cavill’s Superman. Director Zach Snyder told The Daily Beast that Batman necessarily gets more time for backstory because “you just had a whole Superman movie… [and] you need to understand where Batman is with everything.”

Eh I know about Balthazar Getty but I think in general people are way too harsh on her. Like the fact that Jude Law cheated on her gets glossed over and somehow she is the one that gets the heat for that. And almost no one gives Daniel Craig hell for his ways. I think the difference with Sienna was that she was a tabloid fixture for a while, going out to clubs and becoming known as a party girl or whatever. Daniel Craig, not so much, even if he is a cad.
How are people “way too harsh” on her? “Barf-a-zar Get Me a Bucket” (name we made up for him when we were teens; it’s still relevant) was married with multiple children and they openly flaunted their relationship. Seems like she got exactly what she deserved.

I assume Jude Law cheated with everyone, but she seemed to want people to know in a very precise way that she and Balthazar were cheating around. She made Ben Affleck’s nanny look subtle. I assume that’s why she got so much flak – it’s almost like she wanted PR for cheating with someone, which is kind of weird. Maybe she’s really unconventional in her thinking though. Which I personally find odd. But might be normal for her crowd.

Am I missing something re: Sienna and fidelity? I know she was with Balthazar Getty when he was married with (I think) four kids, but unless I’m forgetting something, if that’s the only dodgy relationship she’s had I give her a pass since he was the married one and was likely telling her it was over and done. I think she gets some flak because of how they both flaunted the relationship. They were sort of tacky about it. I can never remember what her actual face looks like, but for some reason I can remember how tacky she and Balthazar were.
I don’t know if she was really that young either. Wasn’t she about the same age as Ben Affleck’s nanny is currently? I don’t see anybody saying that the nanny is quite young and that’s why she made a mistake with Ben, and decided to flaunt the relationship.
That said, I don’t really have any opinion about her career. She hasn’t affected my life so I just kind of shrug when I see articles on her. But I can see why people would judge her.
I think Sienna started to get a bad rep during Jude Law’s marriage. Sadie Frost thought she and Law were trying to work things out but Law kept very publicly going back to Sienna Miller, then Miller acted all butt-hurt when she found out about Jude & the nanny, but then (several years later) it came out that Miller was actually ‘spending time’ with Daniel Craig when Law was with the nanny.
Also, weren’t there stories about the Primrose people (whatever that is) having orgies and that’s how Miller and Law (with Frost present) initially hooked up? Or did I just make this up in my head because clearly my life is SIGNIFICANTLY duller than any subject of speculation on Celebitchy?

I believe this film got pushed back after nanny-gate. Sienna is on set now with Charlie Hunnam with her kids dad around all the time. I do think Sienna majorly screwed herself over before but I can see how much she paid for it. And to repeat it with Ben, she might as well quit the business because her career would be over. Actors can sleep around with all the costars and nanny’s but actresses cannot and maintain respect and roles in the industry. Never happens.

I think you can read a lot about their personal character coming through in both their faces. If I were in one of those lab studies and shown these photographs for reaction, my first impression would probably be something like ‘untrustworthy’ or ‘unpleasant’ or ‘off-putting.’

They’re both single now, so if they hook up, they’re not doing anything wrong. That said, I honestly think all of this media speculation is going to have the opposite effect on Ben. He cares what people think and worries about his image, so now that the world is watching his every move and speculating about man-whoring, I think he’s going to try to avoid that image and keep it under wraps, whatever he does. In the past, all cheating rumors about him were pure speculation, no real proof – until the nanny, and even then, what has really been proven? But since the nanny has blown up publicly in his face, I think he’ll make an effort to be discreet for a good while until all of this dies down.
JoJo, I think he’s a flirt who just can’t help himself from laying on the charm, especially around the ladies because it feels good, like an addict’s high. So even if he doesn’t hookup with one co-star or another, everyone will always assume that he did.
As long as everyone’s single and copacetic, though, no accidental pregnancies for crissakes, then who really cares? The only problem with having this reputation is that people may still not take him seriously, no matter how much career success he has.
