As we heard earlier today, Kanye West’s SURPRISE Adidas show will be held tomorrow at noon. Other designers are pissed about it, and there’s already one complaint filed against Kanye with the CFDA. I’m not sure what the CFDA can really do about it though. Anyway, what this means is that we still have a few more days of Kim Kardashian walking around in New York in terrible clothes. Enjoy. These are photos of Kim and Kanye out last night, and Kim out solo yesterday afternoon. Kim also chatted with People Magazine about her maternity style this time around and she is charmingly delusional about everything, basically.
Trying to borrow Kourtney’s maternity clothes: “Everyone used to say Kourtney had the best pregnancy style, so I would borrow a dress she wore when she was pregnant, and OMG it did not look the same! The side-by-side comparisons were just not good for my soul, so I finally had to figure out my own style that worked for ME!”
She had to work with five stylists during her first pregnancy? “I didn’t even know my signature style yet, let alone how to dress for a baby bump! My style kept changing and nothing was consistent.”
The second pregnancy is easier: “This time around, I know what I like — plus, I am confident and not trying to hide my bump. I actually want to accentuate it.”
Explaining the long coats: “And yes, long coats to cover my fat arms and ass! It’s such a trip how your body grows and changes, and at the end of the day, you have to wear what you are comfortable in and what you feel good in. I don’t care what the weather is, I will always wear my coats. I am always freezing, so it works out perfectly for me!”
She’s mortified about her maternity style the last time: “I also look back at my last pregnancy looks and sometimes I am mortified. I actually am a few pounds heavier this pregnancy than my last, yet somehow I look so different. Maybe it’s because you carry a boy differently than a girl, maybe it’s because I don’t have the swelling that I had last time when I had preeclampsia, OR maybe it’s because I am confident in my style and know what to expect.”
Well… I remember Kim’s maternity style the first time, and yes, I guess the second pregnancy has been better. Although that’s setting the bar really, really low. I genuinely think Kim would be shocked to learn that if she actually invested in some simple maternity basics (a long black skirt, comfortable maternity pants, simple blouses), she would look and feel worlds better. The problem is the same as always – she doesn’t understand her body and she doesn’t understand what is flattering in the larger sense.

I’ve known countless pregnant women in my time (me included), none of whom ever had the need of one stylist, let alone five, to get their signature pregnancy look. They pick out pieces they like, items that are comfortable and current, put them together, and somehow, manage to look utterly beautiful.
What is Kim/Ye not getting? It’s not a period that goes on forever. Surely, with their money and contacts, getting maternity clothes that make her look and feel great, as well as comfortable, is not so difficult a task? Another idea is to pull your head in, stay home, put your feet up and relax for the rest of the gestation. Eh…it’ll never happen

No, Kourtney is about an inch or so shorter than Kim. She has the same body type Kim had before she started injecting fat into her derrière and also the same natural coloring. I imagine it’s the surgical changes that made Kourtney’s clothes look different on Kim. Mother Nature wants women to store fat during pregnancy to ensure the baby will have food after birth even in case of food shortage. But Kim has distorted her natural fat distribution so much with liposuction and fat injections, it’s understandable that her fat storage distribution has gone even more haywire than usual. It’s not nice to mess with Mother Nature, Kimmie, and Mother will have her revenge.

I guess I’m thinking of Khloe – she’s the tall one? And inch shorter than Kim is really short.
Kourtney carries differently, she doesn’t seem to swell all over like Kim.
I feel for Kim while she’s pregnant, the women in my family are all between 4’11-5’2″ and around the 7 month mark we look like beach balls with legs. In fact most of the Facebook posts stop about then, I can’t imagine being papped every day!

Khloe is significantly taller than Kim and Kourtney. I believe Kourtney/Kim are much closer in height.
I think Kim’s body (pre-implants, injections and nip & tucks) used to be similar to Kourtney’s frame. Kourtney has refrained from the butt injections/implants and ridiculously large breast implants.
So, it’s not surprising that what looked cute on Kourtney during her pregnancies wouldn’t look good on Kim’s artificially enhanced body during her pregnancy.
If I’m not mistaken, Kourtney’s boobs are fake (she had a boob job a LONG time ago, like when she was 18 or something like that) and Kim’s are natural.
I knew Kourtney had a implants done when she was younger. But they’re rather proportionate looking. Kim is rather well-endowed naturally but I thought I read that she also had implants put in as well after she started to get famous.
Kim’s boobs are not natural. Her first husband has announced he paid for the boob jobs, the first nose job and a lot of liposuction.

I was just coming to say that maybe if she actually wore clothing in the winter. I remember pictures of her in the dead of winter in open toe sandals and no jacket, just barely covering her tits.

I kind of do feel for her though, during my first pregnancy I was huge! I had no idea what to wear! All these things change and sometimes you just don’t know how to deal with it. It’s more than just wearing a larger shirt. And as someone who was much smaller before she had kids I know what it’s like to watch yourself get bigger and bigger and be self conscious about it.

I hope you’re right. She really needs to try to normalize her derrière. I can’t imagine all that added fatty tissue is a good thing long-term. It will be a difficult process trying to get back what she had originally, though, not even sure it can be done. But the situation can be improved, and then she should feel more comfortable.

Oh, sweetie. Keep working on it. You haven’t figured out what works for you yet, honestly. Ignoring your husbands demands, er, advice would seem to be a necessary first step. Looking in stores for their maternity clothing selections would be another step, those are clothes designed for pregnancy. Or at least look at catalogs. (But buy according to your real non-pregnant size, this is not the time for wishful thinking and fantasy.) Your stylists haven’t a clue. Let them fiddle with existing maternity clothes to fit and look better if you must keep them busy. But start with clothes that many other pregnant women have tested for comfort and a good look.

She probably spends most of her time in air-conditioned buildings and cars. I don’t deal well with that kind of cold either, but my internal thermostat has always been broken. Anyway, there’s a slim possibility that Kim is telling the truth for once. Maybe. Possibly. Hard to tell with her, she just makes up stuff and her stories keep shifting.
I was really hot while pregnant. I had a winter baby and only wore a thin long sleeved shirt thanks to the extra weight and hormones. I figured that’s probably the norm.

Exactly! Isn’t it ironic? You make your body fat in certain areas on purpose, and then when those areas actually look even fatter, you cover them up? Not sure anyone understands her logic. Nothing pregnancy related but her lips just bother me…she’s like a fish…her lips and mouth area look so weird and make her look strange. She thinks she is this beauty and fashion icon but she has the worst style I’ve ever seen and for all the beauty she thinks she has then why the fake hair, tan, eye lashes, boobs, butt, whole new face with tons of make up….a natural beauty alright. I don’t think they will ever go away. Now Khloe has changed her face…I don’t get the appeal of these fake people at all.

I agree with all of your statements, and just can’t see how anyone – anyone – can look at all that fuckfakery and think…Beauty. Goddess. Yes. Except maybe Mr West. But then, I’m starting to think he’s on that spectrum, so might need to be a little more charitable towards him.
I’m currently 20 weeks pregnant and it’s really not that hard to find good looking maternity clothes. I get that she’s in the public eye and wants to make an impact but seriously she looks damn awful!

Yes, most pregnant women I see look just fine in off-the-rack maternity clothes. Kim could get some of those and adjust to her liking if she wants to make them all high-fashiony somehow. But she needs the proper template, and the designers she wears just don’t design for her body, pregnant or not. The fact that she refuses to wear the right size doesn’t help.
I dont understand what size would be able to accommodate her hips/ass. She mush be like a 12 on the bottom, 6/8 at the waist, and 8/10 at the bust when she is not pregnant. Oh the luxury of custom clothing.
@WinnieCoopersMom. I have to respectfully disagree. I’m about 15 – 20 lbs over weight, but I gain it all in my belly and boobs. There is no way in hell that Dimmy would wear the same or smaller size pants or tops than me. I will give her a smaller waist but I wear 10/12 jean but need large to xlarge top depending on how tight in the belly it is. No way I look as wide as Dimmy does.

Not only do you not dress for your body type (astounding considering how much money you have), you also don’t dress for your complexion. Her fake tan and the taupe/beige outfit don’t really look good together. Perhaps a different color. Nude hues don’t really go well with orange tan.
I like the taupe dress with the satin jacket, but the black dress/coat is bad.
Yet she had no issue showing her arms and ass in her bikini a few weeks back and she was wearing the jackets long before that. Yeah ok Kim. Try to explain away how Kanye dresses you. Those jackets are meant to be a fashion statement and kanye probably has a lot to do with that.

Kim, no one thinks your arms are fat; everyone thinks you’re pregnant. Everyone can see you’re pregnant. The neutral dress is lovely; however, the jacket is mismatched — not so much in colour but more in style and texture. I get that she is trying to keep the line going with colour, but she’s ignoring the rest. Square shoulder pads are going to affect your line just as much as anything else: you’ll look shorter and wider with that kind of abrupt line.
The tacky corset lacing + long, shiny (limp-ish) hair + the heavy coat also has quite a dramatic visual impact of making her look wider. She’s actually a teeny, curvy little thing, but everything is working against her here. Am I talking bollocks? I have no idea at all about fashion, but it all seems so obvious. And the open-toed boots? WT actual F? Did she not look back on photos of those last year and realize what a disaster they are?

Also… I don’t know for sure, but… you don’t have pre-eclampsia swelling for the whole pregnancy. The last month or so, maybe, but not thew whole time! She looked swollen because she was squeezing into too-tight clothes and shoes.
Dang the money this couple must spend on clothes to look abnormal. I think the ripped t shirt the other day must be in Kanye’s new collection. I don’t know how both their egos fit in one room. Too bad fans have made these people so rich based on smoke n mirrors.

The body dysmorphia must be so strong here. I can’t understand what would make a person dress like a sex-bot ALL THE TIME! I mean, even the hottest celebrities normally get caught sans-make-up and perfect clothes SOMETIMES. The internal pressure on herself to look like this 24/7/365 must be intense.
I’m just here to say I love her in the tan look and I’m a huge fan of her middle part. When I put my hair in a middle part bun I call it my “kim Kardashian hair.”
And I also get her wearing jackets to hide her arms. In high school I was so self conscious about the stretch marks I had I would wear jackets in sweltering North Carolina heat.

I think she looks better this time. She seems to have retired the pregnancy peplum in favor of repeated coats/long jackets but it’s an odd choice considering the extra weight gain and the summer heat because I find it hard to believe she’s freezing.
I think her arms look fine; I don’t think they look fat at all. I do think her butt is large and misshapen, but I think she accentuates the wierdness of it by wearing clothes that are so tight! If she invested in some flowy bottoms that don’t hug her butt and possibly tops that skim her belly but drape nicely and are fitted in the arms she would look quite lovely. Maybe she thinks the coats hide her arms and her butt but actually they just make her look completely ridiculous.
She seems to dress for how she used to be built in the past; not for how she’s built today.
