Kaiser sent me this story yesterday with enormous condolences. Lemme tell ya, I’ve been in mourning ever since. Just kidding, although The Rock is my boo, so don’t you forget it. He doesn’t receive an amazing reception here, but I can’t resist covering news of a Dwayne Johnson pregnancy. Especially when everyone knows the man could effortlessly impregnate women with a flash of that smile. He’s the nicest guy on the planet (besides Dave Grohl), and he’s good with both puppies and small children. Anyway — sigh — it looks like he’s made a real-life baby with his girlfriend of nine years, Lauren Hashian:
A little pebble! Dwayne “The Rock Johnson and his longtime girlfriend, Lauren Hashian, are expecting their first child together, a source confirms to Us Weekly. Johnson, 43, is already dad to 14-year-old daughter, Simone, with ex-wife Dany Garcia.

The struggle is so real over here. Ah well. I am pleased for him because no one can resist being happy when The Rock is happy. A lot of people don’t realize he has a long-term lady, and The Rock was displeased with this newsflash. He recently told Esquire how Lauren makes his success possible, and he’d never have good things happen to him if his home life wasn’t fantastic. He needs that “balance” to make things happen. What a guy.
The jokes almost write themselves in this story. The Rock put his Dwayne Johnson to use. He’s “cooking” up a baby. There’s a “pebble” on the way. Shall I stop now?

Ah, i used to have a huge crush on him but he has been so full of himself lately during interviews that it kinda made his natural sparkle wear off with me.
I used to know him personally, yep even when he was cheating on his ex-wife. But he is a nice guy.
His baby mama is a former contestant from one of those singing competition shows.
Dwayne is my number one bae, so I’m mourning this with you Bedhead. It was kind of on my bucket list to be impregnated by The Rock. But she has a kind smile and I wish him all the best, so I can’t be mad for too long. Congrats to these pretty a$$ people.

Baby news are always great. I think that if he wants to know he is in a serious relationship he maybe should marry her, the public does notice when celebrities are married more than when they are in relationships if it is not a celebrity couple.

I’ll have to tell my godmother…she’ll be heartbroken. When me and my twin were little, she had us thinking that he actually WAS her boyfriend. So whenever he came on tv, we’d run to it and say “That’s Miss Renita’s boyfriend!!”…lol. We really believed it. It took me years to realize she just had a crush on him.

I was a seat filler at the MTV Movie Awards one year (the year of Mean Girls and the Notebook) and in a sea of girls dressed like they were going to a club, I was wearing jeans and a cute tee. So no one looked even once at me and my seats were usually on the side wings, where people like Brian Glazer were sitting. But I passed the Rock on my way to one of my seats, looked up at him (he is huge) and he smiled down at me and winked. One of my favorite stories from that experience.

Not attracted to him, but he seems like a decent guy. Ballers is my guilty pleasure! He has a good relationship with his ex-wife and seems like a great dad to his daughter. So many dudes seem to resent the women in their lives and he seems like he values them, I hope younger guys look up to him.
Happiness is what my Rock deserves, and she seems to make him happy. I hope that they have a beautiful and healthy baby.
