These are photos of the women at the Baby2Baby Holiday Party in Beverly Hills yesterday. This organization has a lot of celebrity support and yesterday’s event was attended by Jennifer Garner, Jessica Alba, Julie Bowen, Molly Sims and Rachel Zoe, among others. Baby2Baby provides needy children with diapers, clothing and necessities and counts Kate Hudson, Drew Barrymore and Nicole Richie among its board members.
Below we have Jennifer Garner looking very young in a black and brown outfit that she adapted from her outfit for church earlier that day. She was wearing that blouse with black slacks and pumps, which she swapped for skinny black jeans, booties and a brown jacket. I like her booties a lot, but I wouldn’t have paired brown with black like that. Also, she doesn’t seem to have any makeup on. She prefers a no-fuss look when she’s out, but she usually wears makeup to events.
I’ve said this many times, but I rarely leave the house without makeup, I just feel naked without it. This isn’t any shade on Garner, I think you have to have a lot of confidence to go out with a bare face and she certainly looks young and fresh without it. She looks like she’s in her early 30s but she’s 43. She was looking very botoxy for a while, but that seems to have settled.
Julie Bowen, 45, was there with her three sons, Oliver, 8, and twins John and Gustav, 6. They are all so cute! I can’t get over how adorable they are.
Jessica Alba and Cash Warren brought their daughters Honor, 7, and Haven, 4. I love how they are coordinated without looking too matchy. Also, I want Alba’s sweater.

yep. she probably is wearing normal people makeup (meaning light foundation, mascara, etc). rather than photo shoot ready makeup (lots of foundation, color correction, false eyelashes, etc). So she looks like she isn’t wearing any makeup. She looks good.
She is a natural beauty and down to earth. it is refreshing to see an actor who isn’t all glammed up with tons of make-up. weaves, false lashes. Did you see CoCo’s pictures right after she just gave birth?
I thought she looked like she didn’t care when she was married to Affleck, and NOW she’s putting in effort to show him what she’s missing. This look here is better than all those times she went out on coffee runs in mismatched jogging wear and weird shoes (although her face was always pretty, so maybe that’s why she’s never felt the need to concentrate on clothes. I figured that was the reason she dressed so bad — she didn’t necessarily have to put in the effort that a less pretty person with bad skin has to put in to look better in the face than everybody else).
Me too! Shes always been kinda frumpy and favored comfort over style. I remember an episode of Rachel Zoes reality show when Jen was on and she even said something along the lines of “Rachel gets annoyed with me for never dressing up but I just want to be comfortable” You know who looks bad here (just the outfit not the hair or makeup) Jessica Alba. What in the hell with that fug sweater and random red maxi skirt?
She looks a lot younger than 43, perfect skin . Fresh and young. She looks awesome, even without or with minimal MU. Definitely better than some of the women Affleck has been linked to in the media.
If I had ever looked that good without (minimal or whatever) makeup, I would never have worn it!
She was frumpy while married to Affleck, her favorite attire being grey, saggy sweat tops along with unattractive pants and footwear. Add to that a lackluster personality and yawn….I fail to see the appeal. Nothing much has changed.

Agreed- probably a tinted moisturizer (her skin looks reallllyyy even color wise) and some mascara and a subtle lip color at least.

Yeah. I think she’s in full makeup, it’s just a different look than we are used to. She looks great without a heavy eye makeup job that we are used to on her. Maybe because she already has a strong brow bone structure?
She went for a minimal makeup look. I find it odd that people think a lack of color cosmetics equals a lack of makeup.

I don’t know about that. She does however, look as though she was running late as I’ve done for classes sooo many times, and just grabbed the first thing that her hands touched.
As a 40 year old, she is wearing makeup, trust. Even, dewy skin and no under eye circles are not achievable on 99% of women, never mind a 40 something mum of three. She’s rocking a hint of a flushed cheek (probably cream or cheek tint), and some natural looking, probably brown mascara as well as a nude lipstick for that “no makeup” makeup look. It’s what I rely on to look human, I recognize the “effortless” face from a mile away!

I can’t look at garner and not think of all the Affleck herpers stories *Aargh* And if she had botox, then no credit for looking young. Julie Bowen looks great on the other hand.

I think she looks very appropriate. She’s at a charity event with kids – she looks relaxed and isn’t dressed to be the center of attention.
Looks like most if not all the ‘celebrity’ attendees look appropriate for a charity’s holiday event. The group photo is nice.

I agree – my first thought was that she, recognizing her privilege, opted for an understated appearance to appear more approachable/less intimidating to the guests and their children. Speaks well of her character and her ability for empathy and compassion. She really looks great here – like a huge douche has been lifted off her shoulders.
My second thought was wondering why J. Alba is wearing my great aunt’s tablecloth – this after I noticed Courtney Cox wearing one of my aunt’s dining room chairs.

She looks beautiful, but she has makeup on. Not heavy or crazy amounts but she has a little subtle makeup on you can tell, which considering she is at an event is appropriate.
Julie and Jessica’s children are very cute and this seems like a great charity.
I saw Jen and Ben this weekend at a birthday party for Violet, at least I think it was Violet’s party, anyway they were at Sky High which has bouncy houses and arcades. It was a private party but you could still see them pretty good, Jen seemed really relaxed, talking to other parents, watching the kids, she looked “happy”, but Ben was quietly there, taking pictures mostly, but he looked like he was so self conscious, worried that he was going to be recognized by other people, he had a beanie on and he just left it on even though it was pretty hot there, he doesn’t look happy, you can almost feel his shame when he notices people staring at him and he did. From an outsiders perspective and judging from this one moment, I’d say of the two that Jen is more at peace and ok with life right now, while Ben just looks “off” and riddled with guilt.
Ben’s probably self-conscious about his recent cosmetic procedures too, among other things. Your description was painful to read :/
I’m glad she seems to be doing so well though.
I read the on event on Twitter. That was a sad description of Ben. On the other hand, Jennifer seems to be thriving. She has a growing career and cant wait for that movie with Bryan Cranston. Read on IMDB that it is more daring and she is not the wife of Cranston.
My favorite look from last week was her wearing regular prescription glasses. I thought she was very pretty just like that. The nerd look and with the whole outfit :, jacket, jeans and flat shoes.
I like her look here. She is not standing out. The guests are the center of attraction. It is for the regular moms.
Hmm..This is interesting and sad. It makes sense, he has seemed very insecure in most of his pap walk photos from this year. Maybe he is just going through something. Not that that excuses his bad behavior, just saying it sounds like he could be depressed. He has gained a lot of weight recently, like he must have built up for the Batman role and then allowed the muscle to turn to fat when he stopped working out so hard and kept up a big diet. Good for her though, she sounds like she is putting on a strong front and she def looks great right here.

It’s a hard lesson to learn as we get older that less is often more with makeup – easier for those who don’t wear a lot to begin with though like Jen. I really wish Kate Middleton would figure this out, her consistently heavy makeup drives me nuts!
Big deal. Plenty of women her age go about their lives every day with minimal to no make-up and look just as good as she does, IMO.
I can leave bare faced but I’m biracial and have great skin, hair, eyes and lips people kill for. I’m cocky bc white girls made me feel horrible as a child and as an adult it’s a blessing.
If a person feels they need make up to be beautiful then fine. If a person feels they are beautiful without over extending their lashes and pores that’s fine too. Priorities and confidence are subjective to each

Jen Garner has beautiful skin and nice bone structure. The minimal makeup look is very nice on her. It’s not a charity ball, but an event with regular people. I think she was conscious of that and didn’t go full “movie star”. Julie Bowen looks very pretty, but whatever at she did to her lips, she’s been looking like the joker lately on “Modern Family”. I wish women wouldn’t do that to themselves. It’s so unflattering and she’s a good looking lady. No need

It’s her PR move to seem more approachable, just like Jessica alba does her pap strolls with the kids, Jennifer Garner doesn’t wear makeup because she wants to seem more relatable. Maybe she wants a new talkshow or something.
Wanna say I am the good girl on the block. Instead of all these just concentrate on your own family and children. To be happening in Hollywood you have to be sexy, period! If you are not then good bye Adios !
