Kaley Cuoco & Johnny Galecki want you to know that are just friends, really

#TBT to last night @peopleschoice awards. @normancook Thank you again, fans. We are all still in a tizzy about it this morning.

The rumors continue to swirl about a “more than friends” relationship between Big Bang Theory co-stars Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki, but Kaley wants you to know that, without a doubt, Johnny is firmly in the “friend zone.”

If you’re writing any Leonard/Penny fan fiction, you can put your pen down, as the rumors are not true, especially after this tweet Kaley sent out after Wednesday’s People’s Choice Awards ceremony (that her show pretty much swept in the comedy categories, by the way). Kaley posted pics with Johnny backstage with the caption, “Thank you for the @peopleschoice award!! Look how happy we are!! @bigbangtheory_cbs season9 #mydate #notdating.”

Johnny posted a few pics from the event on Instagram, including one with Kaley in the audience at the ceremony that seemed to throw fans into a frenzy, despite his caption that simply read, “#TBT to last night @peopleschoice awards. Thank you again, fans. We are all still in a tizzy about it this morning.”

If that’s not enough evidence for you, Johnny was recently spotted in Maui, Hawaii with his girlfriend Ariella Nicole. Oh, and Kaley has been recently seen out and about with Arrow starΒ Paul Blackthorne.

Fans have wanted this couple to happen for quite a while. The actors, who wed on Big Bang, did date for about 2 years, but, like many relationships, they found being friends worked best for them. After Kaley ended her nearly two-year marriage to Ryan Sweeting last year, the rumor mill went into overdrive about the pair getting back together, despite Johnny posting a photo of the two together with the telling caption, “No scandals / home wreckers / pregnancies here, y’all. Just profound friendship.”

I get it. I loved seeing Penny and Leonard together on screen (they are adorable), but the Kaley and Johnny thing is over – and I’m completely okay with that. And, on a side note, the woman feels our pain! Check out this Twitter post from the PCAs, defending her red carpet footwear. #highheelsDOhurt

All I’m getting is that they really want people to talk about The Big Bang Theory.

  2. kri says:

I can’t decide who annoys me more. Her or the Painted Hough-hines.

    • QQ says:

Me Either!! they are both such…..Non-Factors trying super hard to make us care

    • WinnieCoopersMom says:

Atleast Kaley is doing something ..I feel like J Hough tries way too hard. She is a dancer trying to be something else she is not. I mean, I get the chasing fame thing…but stick to what you know and dont try to shove your non-happening acting career down our throats..please.

I watched her show for the first time the other night accidently……but then kept it on to see how she acts. It seems she tries to blend together Rachel and a few others before her time to come up with this bland, boring character. At least now I’ve proven to myself I have good intuition…..she’s a bore. She would get more attention if she’d stop being so obvious and posting every piece of minutia about her life. Looking at her past loves on this site, Johnny wouldn’t be such a bad choice. At least he’s consistent and not a fame hound as she appears to be. Bye bye show, bye bye Caley…..OMG I forget her name. I have to admit the tall, keeky guy on the show was funny as hell. Effortless, imagine that’s how the show keeps going, he’s talented.

  4. Moxie Remon says:

Is she still using the Sweeting? This is odd.

  5. INeedANap says:

I hate the show and I think she’s a nut, but — all the stars banded together and worked as a united front to get raises. Their commitment to each other is rather lovely and refreshing. I believe it.

    • Nancy says:

And taken right from the Friends handbook. David demanded they all get a million an episode, all for one, one for all and it worked. They should send him a thank you note. There’s usually safety in numbers but sometimes it backfires and they cancel the show. This one can’t go on much longer.

  6. FingerBinger says:

Nobody cares Kaley. However I like her tennis shoes. Are those Dior?

  7. CariBean says:

My husband and I must be the only people on the planet who just do not get the love for this show. We’ve tried watching it but don’t find it funny in the least.

Oh well. Good for them anyhow…

    • word says:

I have to admit, the older seasons were funnier. I do think they have had a dip in ratings and that may be the reason they keep changing the day the show airs.

      • Boxy Lady says:

I think the day change has to do with the NFL schedule, as in Thursday Night Football, than Big Bang itself.

    • Melody says:

It’s a dumb show about smart people.

I prefer The Daily Show – a smart show about dumb people.

    • AmyB says:

It was definitely funnier in the earlier seasons and I adore Jim Parsons. He is very talented. The show has gotten stale now, as most do as years go by. They should do something like Friends or Sex and the City did and end it’s run before it becomes ridiculous. Like ER…loved, loved that show for a long time, but 15 seasons?? Come on. It’s fine to leave on a high note.

      • WinnieCoopersMom says:

Grey’s Anatomy is going through this right now. Love the show, but please have mercy and let it come to a half-graceful end. Gotta know when it’s time to shut it down.

    • OrangeCrush says:

You’re not the only ones. We’ve tried watching it more than once and don’t see the appeal at all. It’s just not funny.

    • anon33 says:

Not funny at all, and frankly offensive to real “nerds.” Because real nerds don’t act or dress like 80’s high school movie clichΓ©s, which is all this show is. I’ll admit that Parsons is a good actor but that’s about it.

    • Anne tommy says:

It’s vaguely amusing in small doses but not nearly as good as Parks and Recreation, it’s a bad joke that that show has never won ensemble at the very least.

  8. Penelope says:

Her hair is starting to look better–that super-short cut did nothing for her.

That said, I like her. She seems like a nice person and she does a ton of work for animals.

  9. Hannah says:

Ah yes sneakers on the red carpet. Remember 5/6 years back when people ripped KStew a new one over that?

  10. Jessica says:

Is it just me or in the header picture, does Johnny Galecki look like he has the legs of a munchkin? They look wayyyy small.. and he has a huge head and torso..

  11. WinnieCoopersMom says:

I will still ship them. Not in an obnoxious way, but to myself I just hope they end up together. They are clearly so happy when they are together, like best friends.

  12. Katie says:

Yeah I love BBT but can’t stand her.

  13. Marianne says:

If you want to convince someone you’re not dating, then stop telling us every chance you get that you’re not dating.
