Halle Berry has said that she’s open to adoption, and mentioned before Nahla was born that she would adopt even if she had a child naturally. According to In Touch, an adoption may in the works for Halle. The details are vague, though, so it sounds like Halle and her partner, Gabriel Aubry, either just talking about it or In Touch is jumping to conclusions based on Halle’s past statements:
They’re proud parents to daughter Nahla, but Halle Berr and Gabriel Aubry are gearing up to have another baby. According to insiders, the couple’s attempts to conceive over the past year have been unsuccessful, so the 42-year-old actress and her longtime model beau, 32, are weighing other options. “Halle and Gabriel have discussed adoption,” reports an insider. “He is open to it because he grew up in the foster care system. He would love to share their blessings with another child.” Even before their 13 month-old daughter’s birth, Halle was already considering the idea. “I will definitely adopt,” she vowed in early 2006. “And I probably will adopt even if it does happen.” [naturally]

Nahla is such a beautiful baby and you can tell that Halle dotes on her. She will make a wonderful mother to another little one if that’s what she and Gabriel want. Halle may be planning on another biological baby instead or maybe in addition to an adoption. She told Harpers Bazaar that she loved being pregnant and called it “amazing.” “I was happy that whole time [I was pregnant], I felt good, I had energy, I was like Superwoman. I wish I could feel like that for the rest of my life, that’s how fantastic it was.” She also said she’s addicted to buying baby clothes online and that she’s bought so much stuff that Nahla can’t even wear all the clothing. Maybe she’s storing it in case she needs it in the future.

Nahla is one of the most beautiful babies around : )I hope Halle and Gabriel (like all parents) do whatever is best for their family, be it adopting, having another biological child, or stopping at just the one.
Difference. Halle isn’t a celebrity, she’s an actress. She doesn’t court the paps or the press normally.
Same thing with Heidi Klum, she is the biggest dork in the history of the world and doesn’t care. She’s could probably care less if everything disappeared tomorrow as long as she has her family she’d be happy.

Considering her age, adoption might make sense, if she wants to expand the family.
Women in their early 40’s are having babies all over the place, especially where I live, in S.F. It’s normal here. I thin she should populate the world with her awesome genes AND adopt!
Nowadays women having babies in their early forties is very common and biracial children are always the MOST gorgeous children !!

Did you guys read the article? Her attempts to get pregnant in the last year have not been successful;it took a very long time her first go around,to get pregnant….she has said that she wants more,but that it’s not up to her if it happens….So,she is def. planning.
And it does crack me up ‘oooh,she’s 42’…it’s not her first child,so that makes the age thing less difficult second time around.
And honestly,women,42 is not that old. 52,then I’d be concerned. But,Halle is diabetic,so that prob. is a concern.

The InTouch article is outdated with twisted info. Her statement in 2007 when she emphatically told reporters when promoting Perfect Stranger ‘she and Gabriel WILL be pregnant by the end of the year and if it doesn’t happen naturally, she/they WILL adopt”. Prior to Aubry she did say she would do the sperm bank thing or adopt if she wasn’t pregnant by the time she was 40.
Yes, she had difficulty in getting pregnant supposedly on fertility drugs, in-vitro and was even seen at the same in-vitro clinic in late January doing damage control photos of her staged ‘f-bomb’encounter with the pappis wondering where’s Gabby.
Yes,she did say in Harper’s, Leno and Ellen that she would like to have more kids, but her body is saying different so she didn’t know. She even said on Tavis Smiley and other interviews while promoting Things We Lost In the Fire which ended up being about her and her pregnancy that she may only do this once regardless of what Aubry said or was paid to say last September/October and 7 months later nothing more on the baby news front other than what Halle’s said in interviews.
Who knows if they’re still trying?
RE:Halle not courting the pappis or the press is bs maybe not like Madonna, LiLo, Brittany etc, but she does court them by always putting her business out there i.e. the crap with Eric, other relationships, her relationship with Aubry, her rehashing comments etc. Then she complains when they hound her. She can’t have it both ways. Sorry.
Not true see #15’s comments plus her ‘trying Black men’ joke in Essence got the magazine pulled off the shelf. Guess she won’t be on the cover of that mag or interviewed again?
She is a celebrity who happens to be an actress. Her bf or whatever he is isn’t and needs to stop acting like one.
