Kanye West begs Mark Zuckerberg to invest $1 billion ‘into Kanye West ideas’

FFN_GGFF_Kardashian_West_2122016_51969053

As many of you already mentioned in Sunday’s Kanye West post, Kanye took to Twitter again Sunday evening for yet another long-winded Twitter rant/plea. As we already said, Kanye announced late Saturday night that he was/is $53 million in debt, mostly because he has been self-funding his forays into fashion and crazy doesn’t come cheap. So in the midst of some self-congratulatory BS about how he’s going to win 100 Grammys before he dies (seriously, who cares about Grammys that much?), Kanye made a plea for Mark Zuckerberg to invest in “Kanye West ideas.” Some assorted tweets:

Mark Zuckerberg invest 1 billion dollars into Kanye West ideas

after realizing he is the greatest living artist and greatest artist of all time.

I know y’all tired of music controlled by money and perception. I’m proud of every dime of debt I got.

Bars are worth more than money because it’s something the people can use everyday to feel inspired.

Mark Zuckerberg I know it’s your bday but can you please call me by 2mrw…

You love hip hop, you love my art… I am your favorite artist but you watch me barely breathe and still play my album in your house …

World, please tweet, FaceTime, Facebook, instagram, whatever you gotta do to get Mark to support me…

I’m this generation’s Disney… I want to bring dope sh-t to the world…

I don’t have enough resources to create what I really can…

Mark, I am publicly asking you for help…one of the coolest things you could ever do is to help me in my time of need and I will always respect you for that and the world will love you…

hey Larry Page I’m down for your help too …

All you dudes in San Fran play rap music in your homes but never help the real artists…you’d rather open up one school in Africa like you really helped the country…if you want to help… help me…

[From Kanye West’s Twitter]

Yes, he really tweeted that. He really and truly thinks Mark Zuckerberg’s money would be better spent by giving him (Kanye) a billion dollars for his ideas rather than spending that money on schools for African children. Literally.

One piece of good news for Kanye: he’s only released The Life of Pablo on Tidal so far, so Tidal is now the #1 subscription download.

Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian and North West out and about on Sunday. If Kim looks worried, that’s because she’s legally saddled to a man who is $53 million in debt.

I know we’ve been cautioned against armchair diagnosing, but if this isn’t mania I don’t know what is.

    • Eleonor says:

Probably we should only admit he is an idiot. Plain and simple.

      • SnarkySnarkers says:

Just read on X17 that his co-write Rhymefest quit a month ago because “My brother needs help, in the form of counseling. Spiritual & mental. He should step away from the public & yesmen & heal.” Yea….this guy is bi-polar for sure. I know we’ve all suspected it for a long time but this pretty much confirms it for me.

      • Naya says:

I feel like that people who arent acknowledging the very real possibility that something isnt right are not fully aware of whats been happening with this guy in the last month. This site does such a great job of aggregating it but its just a fraction of what he has been saying. Even making allowances for Kanye being Kanye, its out there.

      • GingerCrunch says:

        Too many life stressors lately???

    • C says:

That was the saddest thing I’ve ever read from Kanye. Srly, kim must be so embarrassed! He’s begging for money. So pathetic. Loser!!!

      • Zwella Ingrid says:

His debts are her debts, so she better be thinking about how to protect her assets, or she won’t have any.

    • Denisemich says:

The scariest thing is that reviews say THE LIFE OF PABLO is great.

Are you really crazy if things you say happen? I say this knowing he takes lexapro

      • Petee says:

I heard they were mixed.I wouldn’t listen to his crap so called music if you paid me.

      • Denisemich says:

NYT and others gave it good reviews.

He produces for a lot of people @Petee. I am sure you have heard his stuff if you listen to Alicia Keys, Madonna, Lorde, Jay-Z, Keysha Cole, Britney Spears, Rihanna …etc.

      • Talie says:

The album is meh…and he knows it. That’s why he is stunting so hard on social media — also because he has tied himself to the sinking ship known as Tidal.

      • Naya says:

The reviews are pretty positive, that much is clear.

      • Hannah says:

        @denisemich
The reviews are mixed. The guardian didn’t like it. Pitchfork says it’s good but that he’s not doing anything new on this one. Having listens to it myself I think it lacks direction. If you make allowances for the beyond embarrassing quality of the lyrics and pretend rap is just about production ( which is what some of the critics who loved it must have done) you will probably like it. And I don’t think it’s the music that makes people say he’s crazy. He’s talented. It’s the suggestion that dozens of women are lying about Cosby. Or that zuckerberg should invest 1 billion in Kanye instead of African children etc, etc.
Even if you’re a Kanye Stan that stuff is inexcusable and pretty disturbing.

      • Marr says:

The reviews that matter are all more than positive. Say what you will about him but his music has always been good.

      • denisemich says:

@ hannah the guardian is a question able review. It was more a review of Kanye himself. When they finally talk about the album they say it is good very very good. But they gave dark twisted fantasy a 4 and a 2. Basically they shouldn’t review music.

Regarding Kanye as a person, well he says he is on anti anxiety meds. I think having a new baby, the fashion, a crazy family and the album might be too much. He may need to up his dosage. I don’t personally think Cosby is innocent but in America you are innocent until proven guilty. Are all the People who excuse the actions of Polanski and woody Allen called crazy. no. He is trying to cause friction to get u interested. But I think the thing with Taylor blindsided him and he is trying to do everything possible to recap his money

      • Hannah says:

        @denisemich
You can’t pick and choose what reviews matters.
The reviews are a mixed bag. The Washington post was less then complementary for instance.
It’s a bit silly to call the guardian questionable its one of the most respected newspapers in the uk. You might as well say the ny times shouldnt review music.
The writer of that review has won best music reviewer something like 7 times and many other music critics awards….

      • Denisemich says:

        @Hannah.

LOL you really dislike Kanye. The top news papers in the US are the Wall Street Journal followed by the NYT.

In the UK, the Guardian is not a well read newspaper.

        You are Stretching

      • LAK says:

Denisemuch: in what universe is the Guardian not a well read UK paper?

The Guardian is the headquarters of every lefty in the country, shelter from everything ‘rightwing establishment’ establishment.

The Guardian is a major paper in the UK.

      • Petee says:

Denisemich that music is not my my cup of tea.I like some Britney and Rihanna but no to the rest.I like rock.Sampling and auto tune aren’t my thing. This album could get every great review out there but Kanye is his own worst enemy.People loath him.If it does well I will be shocked.

      • Decorative Item says:

Did you see the list of co-writers on that album. There was barely room left for his name at the end of it. What I want to see is the mess of an album he would put out if he was required to write, produce, and perform it alone.

      • kanyekardashian says:

Lexapro is an anti-depressant, it does nothing for bipolar – I know, I’m on Lexapro AND I’m bipolar. Kanye is only mentioning Lexapro to try to fool people into thinking he’s a depressed, tortured artist and gaining sympathy. What he is is bipolar and this dude needs Lithium.

    • BunnyBear says:

His cowriter Rhymefest said that Kanye needs counseling and to stop surrounding himself with yesmen. He’ll probably face the wrath of Kanye but I’m glad someone from his entourage cares enough to tell him the truth.

    • LA says:

Delusions of grandeur anyone? He thinks he the best artist ever? Hes not even the best alive at rapping, producing, or designing…. Im very confused by why he thinks hes THE BEST EVER.

Better than me at all of those things? Certainly. But lets be real, not the best alive or ever.

    • Tessa says:

I’ve got the all the credentials
      He is mentally unwell
I especially like the ” by tomorrow” bit

    • word says:

I still don’t know if any of this is real. I mean if your husband was having a public social media meltdown claiming to be broke and saying insane things, would you be sitting relaxing and posting pics of what you wore to past Grammy awards? That’s what Kim is doing right now. Kim cares way too much about her “brand” to let Kanye destroy things. They thought Rob was ruining their “brand” just because he got fat. I still think this could all be a big pr stunt. Something smells like fish sticks.

      • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

True, but think how many times Rob posted some awful and uncomplimentary things about the family and they basically ignored him. Same with Scott Disick, he was going around town boozed to the 9’s and cheating on Kourtney and they didn’t do anything about it for years.

Once you’re not a part of the main family I truly think those women don’t care what you do. If you get too annoying they’ll just bury you in bad publicity from TMZ, that’s what they did with Caitlin for a while until the general public was welcoming to her.

Having Kanye dig his own grave may even work in their favor. Kim can just say that outside of supporting him (showing up to his fashion show) that they were living separate lives and she wasn’t going to acknowledge all of his actions.

    • Lilou says:

I agree that he sounds mentally unstable, and most likely needs help. I wish him well.

  2. Tate says:

Why doesn’t he ask his wife for a loan?

She is in reverse Pinocchio mode. Her nose keeps getting smaller.

    • jeanpierre says:

First because the K don’t have that kind of money, second because he is in debt because of loans left and right already.

      • kanyekardashian says:

They don’t have “that kind of money” – since when? These people own a private jet and they cost a cool $50 mil.

    • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

If she has a functioning brain cell in her head she better keep her personal purse strings zipped tight, the road he’s on this marriage isn’t going to last long.

      • Tate says:

I have a feeling Kim (or at least Kris) keeps a pretty good handle on the purse strings. I wonder what the pre-nup looks like.

      • word says:

Oh I’m sure Kim has never opened her purse since the day they got married. I bet Kanye has been funding their lifestyle while Kim has been tucking her money away in the bank.

I really hope Mark goes and builds more schools in Africa so Kanye’s blood can boil. What a p.o.s. Kanye is. He should be ashamed of himself.

      • Sass says:

Any money she earned since their marriage is his money also. They live in CA – a community property state.

      • M.A.F. says:

@Sass, I’m sure that only applies if one of them files for divorce in California. The California 50/50 is bullshit & it should be re-written because sometimes people get shafted.

      • Pleaseicu says:

They have a prenup. CA’s community property laws would control only if the prenup got tossed out for some reason. If Kanye really is this much in personal debt, smartest thing Kim ever did was insist that they sign a prenup. He was against it apparently.

      • Lillylizard says:

The 50/50 thing doesn’t kick in until they have been married for 10years, that’s why Tom Cruise filed for divorce just a week or two before his and Nichol’s 10th anniversary, otherwise he would have had to give her 50% of his assets and future earnings covering contracts made in that 10year period, as it was she got a good payout but no where near 50%. Diandra is still hounding Michael Douglas for on going payments he is receiving from work he did during their 20 year marriage.

    • minx says:

Again, why did she think she needed several nose jobs? Her face is so out of proportion now.

      • AntiSocialButterfly says:

I’ve thought the same for quite some time. Overly bobbed nose, big ol’ gummy worm lips. Ridiculous – her original face was quite beautiful. What a mess.

      • Tate says:

Her original face was unique and beautiful. Now she just looks waxy and plastic.

      • stella says:

that’s right. The 2nd nose job from a few years ago was perfect. But then she went a little smaller which got her jaw to look too big. And ruined the proportions of her face. I wish she could make it bigger with a 4th nose job!

    • Eleonor says:

More than reverse Pinocchio, I would say a Michael Jackson syndrome (R.I.P.)
She used to be such a cutie.
I think she is wearing her husband clothes…

    • paolanqar says:

      AH! no.
      Kris will never allow that.

    • TessD says:

I thought the same – she is supposedly one of the highest paid celebrities in the world.

      • Josephine says:

I think “supposedly” is the right word. I’m sure they have lots of money, but I also think that their lifestyle is largely leased. I still think he’s just trolling, but if it’s true, you can definitely see what this marriage was made of, and it’s not mutual respect and support. I don’t see her sticking around if he can’t produce a lifestyle.

      • Christin says:

I think this may be confirming that their lifestyle is likely smoke and mirrors (highly exaggerated).

      • word says:

Not highest paid celebrity, but one of the highest paid “reality stars”. There is a huge difference.

So did Kim tweet anything for Valentine’s day? What, no bragging this year? No 10 000 roses on a wall from Kanye this year?

      • Flowerchild says:

        @TessD

You must have gotten that information for the tabloids or the K family because that’s not even close to being true.

First to let you in on the secret about reality stars is that they are never as rich as they claim to be. The while filming the Networks rent, homes for a lot of them and cars as well. The Network also foots the bill for these elaborate vacations and trips they take. Which is why reality stars hustle so hard to stay relevant in the media and on TV.

If you believed that Kim was so rich, then how could you explain the fact that Kim and Kanye had to sell their last house because their renovations become too costly for them to afford.

      • TessD says:

@ Flowerchild – I don’t really know that much about reality stars reality … Just figured with all of her endorsements and whatnot she is very wealthy.

    • robynsing says:

She’s pissed because Kanye isn’t down with the Kardashian Kredo of “ALWAYS LIE/FAKE IS BEST/ONLY LIARS PROSPER” It truly would be hysterical if this is why they have never lived in a home together…he ran out of money to pay for the fountain run entirely by the tears of endangered Tibetan monks, the furniture reclaimed from the fall of the Romanoffs, and the throws made only from the hides of the Push-me-pull-you.

    • Aubrey says:

Fk his singing about gold diggers and then turns around to b 1.

  3. meme says:

kim looks ridiculous, as usual. those boots are hideous. kanye must be losing it. makes me happy.

    • zinjojo says:

She looks like a damn Yeti in that white coat, just like at his show the other day. Ridiculous and awful. And what kind of fur is North wearing — endangered snow leopard? I hate fur of any kind, and to put it on a child seems even more repulsive. Poor kid.

    • robynsing says:

She’s trussed up in some kind of torturous kevlar girdle contraption under the cheap black spandex.

    • OrangeCrush says:

Those plastic-looking… shoes? boots?… in the picture with the white coat look painful. They’re cutting into her legs at the top. Also, her hairline in the first picture looks super weird, almost like she glued her face on.

    • Lillylizard says:

It’s probably rabbit, very easy to dye and print patterns on. Most real furs are very heavy and this looks reltively light weight so I think its ‘lapin’ (rabbit).

  4. Jayna says:

The Kardashians will milk him dry for publicity until he’s useless to them and never once try to get him the mental health treatment he needs.

    • minx says:

I just wonder if he really is going broke–these people lie, fabricate and exaggerate.
If he is, Kim will divorce him in a hot second. He is of no use to her with no $$$.

      • Dr. Funkenstein says:

Oh, I don’t know. She married him for the publicity and to remain relevant. She’s been willing to be “famous” on the basis of being debased in a bad sex video, a sham marriage, and her willingness to strip at the drop of a hat for attention. Hardly seems unreasonable to imagine she might stay attached to him as the show ratings sink into oblivion.

      • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

In a weird way with someone like him I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s in debt for even more than that.

Kanye doesn’t seem like the type to admit a fault unless it’s about to kill him. We’ve all seen his massive amounts of temper tantrums over the years, he never cops to something unless it’s gotten really bad and he can’t control it anymore (when he never spoke about Kim’s sex tape vs. now now he keeps trying to reframe the issue).

For him to be going this hard for donations and begging folks to subscribe to Tidal I wouldn’f better shocked if he’s so far buried he can’t see light anymore.

      • Marr says:

Being in debt does not equal being broke lol. His net worth is around 145 mils. He just doesn’t have the money in the bank right now. There’s a difference.

      • Jegede says:

        @Marr

I doubt he’s worth anywhere close to that.

A lot of these rich lists are smoke and mirrors.

    • Lizzie McGuire says:

@The Eternal Side-Eye Imagine if he’s publicly begging right now I’m sure that before he begged the Bey Z & anyone else who he considers his “friends”. He probably got shut down by all of them, so now he has to go public about his debt & beg for money. I have a theory that he’s more in debt than what he’s truly publicly saying, so now he has to go for SF techies money. In a way he’s not that far off, they do love Kanye’s music there, I used to work in a big company there & they shit you not played Kanye all day one day. But he seems like a liability so idk if they’ll even consider it, I wonder if he asked that crazy rich pharmacist for his money he seemed down to pay for his new album.

      • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

        @Lizzie

Ugh. I love some Kanye songs but all day everyday? Too much. You’re right though. I wouldn’t be shocked if Kanye has been going to everyone he knows looking for a handout and is now just willing to take money from anyone. I mean he literally says he’d be willing to take money from Larry Page too, lmao.

Looking at Kanye’s ‘lifestyle’ it is interesting that maybe the once close relationship he had with Jay Z and Beyonce went sour for a reason and that’s why we don’t see them together anymore.

    • robynsing says:

Kim brags that she’s the brains of the Ktrash and all the image-building is her idea…won’t it be a shame when her cash-cow is foreclosed upon and her prenup is worth zilch.

  5. Elisa the I. says:

That pic of North holding the phone makes me sad. 🙁
Also, Kayne needs some serious intervention.

    • Jwoolman says:

Those holes in Nori’s jeans aren’t going to help keep her warm. What were they thinking?!? Wind goes right through them.

    • McMe says:

The pic of North holding the phone with no hat or gloves on makes me sad. It was -33 degrees with the wind chill factor.

      • anne_000 says:

But good thing only Kim has a hat to keep her head warm, right? Because she’s most important person there… [/s]

    • M.A.F. says:

Why does it make you sad? Do you know how many parents now-a-days shove a phone/tablet in their kids faces? This isn’t just a Kardashian thing.

      • Elisa the I. says:

because she is holding on to that phone as if it’s her lifeline.

      • Ennie says:

As do all the other Kardashians… of course it is like a pacifier to them, giving the kid the cell phone instead of actually educating or paying attention to her. I’ll bet the girl has her own phone to play with, I don’t believe for a second Kimmy would risk to lose her precious selfies if the little girl is playing with her phone.

      • The New Classic says:

The kid is probably trying to figure out how to call 911.

      • Decorative Item says:

Because many people do it doesn’t make it okay. And it makes me sad because its not a reasonable situation where Mum could use a little help keeping the kid calm for her own sanity like in a restaurant. The kid is walking down the street with a nanny/assistant in tow.

    • Blackcat says:

      ^^^^ Elisa the I.
      Me too.

  6. Tash says:

This is sad. He is obviously not in his right mind.

    • jeanpierre says:

He pulled exactly the same crap when he was seeking investors for Donda.

      • word says:

He’s a hyocrite, so everyone stop donating to charities (even Kanye’s OWN charity) and start filling Kanye and Kim’s pockets instead. They need it more than sick or poor children do.

  7. The Eternal Side-Eye says:

“…you’d rather open up one school in Africa like you really helped the country…if you want to help… help me…”

I say this with all the love in the world Kanye, go fuck yourself.

But please do another rant on how it’s about ‘us’ and black issues.

    • The Original Mia says:

This makes me want to open a huge can of whip ass on him. He’s disgusting.

      • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

I just want to drag him to a village in the country of Africa (really dude? Maybe you should have stayed in college after all) and make him explain to them how his ugly clothes are more important than their children.

      • Decorative Item says:

        @ The Eternal Side-Eye
He got into college? I read his list of model demands and would have bet money he never graduated high school. Not judging people who didn’t go to college because there are lots of reasons, especially money, why people can’t. But if you’re going to proclaim to be the next coming of Christ I’d be more inclined to believe you if you could spell. He has autocorrect, did he just argue with his spell check and yell at it that he was right? The man is confusion in a nutshell.

    • Elisa the I. says:

He needs to be medicated for severe stupidity and ignorance.

    • Joy says:

George Bush doesn’t care about black people! Well neither do you you hypocritical ding dong.

      • Sochan says:

The grand irony is that – like him or not – George W. Bush has been quietly doing amazing work in and for Africa since he left office, and he has earned mad respect from Africans. (note to Kanye: it’s not a country!). Kanye, on the other hand, doesn’t done crap for ANYONE but himself, but calls out others as racist.

He’s mentally ill, and he didn’t just go off the rails because his mother died. He was like this well before then. I had no idea about the debt, but I’ve long suspected ulterior motives for marrying into the K family. His entitlement attitude is like nothing I’ve ever seen. Others have money so they SHOULD give some to Kanye. You like Kanye’s music and play his music in your house so you OWE him more of your money than just the $20 you paid for the CD you’re playing. It’s nuts. It’s not sane, and he’s completely unhinged. I can’t see how Kim is not so, so embarrassed by him. She’s probably hanging in there for a reason – maybe even just her pride. But I bet she’s hating him just a little more with each passing day.

      • Naya says:

I’m sorry, I just cant let that Bush thing pass. This is one of those common myths perpetuated by Western “helicopter” journalists looking for a catchy headline. Bush big legacy was Pepfar and even at the time African HIV activists derided its approach (he basically conditioned aid to abstinence only initiatives). The results are back in and guess who was right? The actual people on the ground, surprise surprise http://www.nytimes.com/2015/02/27/health/american-hiv-battle-in-africa-said-to-falter.html?_r=0

I dont know what Bush is doing now but I know his biggest handicap was his paternalistic attitude. I hope he figured out that Africa, like Asia, has a young dynamic population that has figured out that charity stifles. When you listen to these young Africans they are saying opportunity and fair trade will raise standards of living so that you are not forever putting out fires. Obama listened, thats why his initiatives have focused on building human capacity. Gates focuses on funding local solutions. Who knows with Bush.

      • vilebody says:

@Naya The ABC (abstain, forget this b term, condoms) component of PEPFAR amounted to a third of PEPFAR funding for three years. I didn’t agree with it either, but it is a relatively small part of the program overall. When looking at the program from its inception in 2005 onwards, the program has been undeniably successful. Also, Bush increased the budget of USAID (which focuses on development and education) from 1.2 billion to over 7. Though USAID focuses on many countries and continents, a majority goes to Africa.

I think you’re letting your political biases form false conclusions on a program that has saved millions of lives. The article I’ve linked just looks at the health aspect of PEPFAR, not anything with ABC. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26056389

      • Naya says:

I wont lie, I have a very poor opinion of the man but this isnt about that. Once again, this aid model you are touting as his success is exactly what I mean by failing to listen to people on the ground. Sure, USAID has helped create NGO economy thats run by lots of well paid expats. Its also succeeded in sinking a lot of money into white elephant projects, unsustainable projects and pockets of briefcase NGOs. It is not unusual to find abandoned USAID projects all over the continent because poor project identification or the locals didnt have the capacity or resources to maintain it etc. Theres also the fact that its constantly accused of being a trojan horse for US political intentions in Africa.

African scholars have been saying for decades that aid (other than in emergency relief situations) solves nothing. They want unfair competition eliminated and more equal multilateral trade deals, not an NGO economy that collapses every time the US cant remit the money promised. THIS is why China has made such inroads in Africa. They arrived to do business not to keep people beholden to handouts. Even Jefferey Sachs (whose heart was in the right place) has demonstrated just how wrong headed the aid model ishttp://fortune.com/2013/10/11/jeffrey-sachss-failed-experiment-in-africa/. When Obama had his Kenya visit, he didnt arrive with just promises of aid, he showed up with planes full of investors and a pen ready to sign a few partnership deals. THATS what African has been begging for.

      • Greenieweenie says:

Yeah. I’m never going to hop a Bush train. It’s called Katrina, and it’s called Iraq. Bush has respect in Africa? Well, he caused the domino-collapse of an entire world region, so there’s that.

      • Jegede says:

        @Sochan

Bush has done more for Africa than the ‘beloved’ Clinton ever did.
I did my NYSC in Nigeria I know it.

        @vilebody – Yup.

    • Mia V. says:

Mark Zuckerberg, please save the african kids from getting into contact with Kanye and Kim.

    • PrincessMe says:

Well, I have no love for Kanye, but I echo your sentiments. I really think something is seriously wrong with him.

    • Shambles says:

In the movie “Get Him to the Greek,” Russel Brand’s floundering rock star character Aldous Snow releases a terrible song/music video called “African Child.” Critics in the movie called it “the worst thing to happen to Africa since apartheid.”

Somehow I think Kanye and Aldous Snow would get along.

    • saras says:

I agree it is the worst rant/insult/grovel so far! For someone so selfish to call out a generous businessman / philathropist about helping children instead of a big raving adult crybaby proves how much he needs help. I hope nobody gives him anything to add to his delusional belief he can design and furthermore he needs a long inpatient stay for drug / mental illness issues! It’s not even funny at this point and makes his “family” look even worse that they have let him run so far off the rails. I think he is a dumb misogynist pig on his best day but he has children now who I would not feel safe leaving him around. GET TREATMENT!

    • Katrina says:

He thinks Africa is a country. That’s pitiful.

      • JudyK says:

And he thinks he’s qualified to run for President. Sarah Palin thinks Africa is a country, too–maybe she can be his running mate. It is pitiful.

      • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

Sarah Palin, Kanye, and Raven Symone all three think Africa is a country. Hmm. Isn’t amazing how the most uneducated people speak the loudest and most?

    • Katy says:

I love your comment Eternal – you are my girl crush today!!

    • pinetree13 says:

That comment actually angered me. I was reading the whole twitter rant with a smile until that line. Also, if Mark gives a billion to this fool rather than HELPING PEOPLE THAT NEED IT I will hate him forever too.

Yes, let’s all cry for the man and beg for handouts for him when he lives a more lavish lifestyle than any of us will ever get to experience for even a day. That line made me so angry. How DARE HE say that? HOW DARE HE?!?!? That is disgusting and sick. Shows what he thinks of other people…they are only there to serve him and his “art” but he could care less for how others in the world suffer.

Amusement just turned to hatred. I will now be rooting for this man’s downfall which I was not before today.

  8. mindydopple says:

Sidenote. Well Kim, you needed the world see Kanye pick you. And he did, he married, is giving you children, but now, he’s out of control. The no shame lifestyle you’ve built, he’s going to take and ride it to the ground! There hasn’t been talk on what happened with Kylie and Puma. I wish we had a post about Rhianna’s show with them… they pics looked great and Rhianna makes everything look pretty.

    • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

I thought it was interesting the difference in quality between Rihanna and Kanye’s shows, especially with them being right next to each other.

Rihanna looked happy, the models were well-fitted and Naomi Campbell seemed to be enjoying herself more. Kanye had to run to the Salvation Army to have his extras fitted to wear ANYTHING because quantity over quality.

    • Bunny says:

      Puma LOL

  9. lilacflowers says:

    Muppets take Manhattan!

Greatest artist of all time. Sure, just move on over there, Beethoven, Mozart, DaVinci, Michelangelo and everybody else. Kanye is here.

He’s barely breathing? I am sure that within just a few yards of where Kim is prancing around in her Muppet get-up, there were probably a few homeless people freezing in the NYC cold. THEY are the ones barely breathing who need the help of the Zuckerbergs of this world, not Kanye. The selfishness is mind-boggling.

The world will love you? For funding Kanye’s ideas.? No. Just no.

    This is pathetic.

  10. Talie says:

Kim bought Kanye — it was a smart business move.

The funny thing is that all this stuff he wants to do with DONDA — Kim has done half of it and probably will be working on much more before he even gets one thing off the ground.

  11. Nicole says:

And now we know why they’re living at her Mom’s place. 🙁

    • Mia V. says:

Apparently they are renovating their house for the 3rd time and in one episode Kim is super pissed with Kris cause she “stole” 10 pieces of marble and she can’t find more in the world and she will have to change all her bathrooms cause they all have to look the same. There you go, 53 millions.

      • Sochan says:

        @Mia V

This sounds sickening. Just really … I don’t have the words for it. It feels spiritual, like a negative spiritual energy. I guess the only word that comes to mind is avarice. That’s the most extreme word I can think of to describe this deeply profound greed and worship of materialism.

      • swak says:

I would take anything from KUWTK with a grain of salt. It is a scripted show.

      • Mia V. says:

@swak It is scripted for sure, but to add those lines (in case it isn’t true, who knows) and think it’s ok, just shows how vain they are.

      • Swak says:

@mia v – if i was buying something that you “can’t find more in the world” , I would be buying extra in case something happens. Therefore my skepticism

      • boredblond says:

Proof that ‘keeping up with the Kardashians’ can be dangerous to your mental health and credit rating I guess…
I thought this was a joke when I first heard it…I mean, the arrogance of an entitled celeb asking for money AND stipulating he must be contacted by a certain time..he’s gone beyond bizarre.

  12. Nameless says:

He reminds me of Charlie sheen in a manic episode. Not hookers and drugs, the narcissism, energy, and boasts.

  13. Belle Epoch says:

This makes me stabby. The world owes Kanye nothing. Make your own money, genius. You are not a charity. If you aren’t making money, then people don’t like what you’re selling – at least, not as much as you think they do. “Artistes” do not have patrons any more so get over yourself and stop buying gold toilets and hand-painted bags and walls of flowers and….

    • zinjojo says:

Thank you for reminding me of the gold toilet.

I agree, the world owes him nothing. He’s already made millions but it wasn’t enough, and to tell Mark Z. or Larry Page or anyone for that matter that if they’re playing his music at their homes they should be funding him with big bucks shows how out of touch and up his a$$ he is. It makes me ragey that he thinks he’s more important than educating kids in Africa.

But he’s going to be in our faces with Life of Pablo for the next year as he promotes and then tours. That is, if he doesn’t entirely self destruct in the process.

      • yolo says:

Perhaps his self destruction will also be the destruction of the Kardashians. It’s wishful thinking but you know PMK already has the script in hand in regards to how this will play out. PMK will do anything to preserve the K “brand”. I mean it’s already happening because I (as well as some other posters) are already feeling pangs of sympathy for Kim.

Kim already had to swoop in once for tea over the Amber’s finger in the butt incident. There was obviously no way to smooth over his Cosby rant and the Swift/West round 2 had the quick following of THIS. If Kim’s eyes weren’t so dead, you would probably see fear. That’s a lot of money he’s claiming to be in debt of. Interesting enough, $53 million is what Forbes said she made last year.

At least I have faith in Zuckerberg to NOT make this happen. He is a very smart guy and I seriously doubt he wants to waste money investing into the SS Delusional West.

Kanye needs help. And I don’t mean financially.

    • pk says:

I thought the same thing. Why should anyone give Kanye money the way he and Kim flaunt their wealth and lavish lifestyle? Mark Z doesn’t even flaunt his wealth. He Instagram’s cute photos of his daughter dressed as Star War’s characters, while Kim Instagram’s her children’s designer clothes. They don’t care about anyone but themselves.

  14. cannibell says:

    “I’m this generation’s Disney… I want to bring dope sh-t to the world…”

Thinking about Kanye’s theme park and wishing I hadn’t.

  15. wrinkled says:

    And Kickstarter goes live in…

  16. The Eternal Side-Eye says:

Also, shocking to hear he’s $54 mill in debt.

With all the quality music and clothes he’s been putting out for years who wouldn’t be giving him their hard-earned money?

    🐸🍵

  17. LAK says:

Of course he doesn’t rate African schools. This is a man who specifically referenced the Rwandese genocide as a fashion moment.

Why should Kanye give a fig about Africa except to exploit it?

    • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

I know this will be too extreme a comparison but in some ways he reminds me of sort of a Bill Cosby character (obviously without the secret assaults and rapes).

Black people are, to him, only something to be used as an outlet for his own frustration and ‘genius’. When he wants to work he goes to white companies and business men for their stamp of approval. When those businessmen disrespect him then suddenly it’s all about the ‘system’ and how it keeps good black people down.

I have no love lost for Zuckerberg but the fact Kanye thinks a man who’s genuinely trying to change the world has a billi to give to some dude’s multicolored rag collection is hilarious.

      • LAK says:

Eternal side eye: my rage at him right now is such that only animals can hear the sounds i’m making. I don’t care that this is mania on his part since usually that only removes inhibitions which means this is what he really thinks. And i’m especially offended that mania or not, it is all part of an entertainment roll out.

You are articulating this much better than I can right now.

      • Darkladi says:

        You f*cking NAILED it.

      • Marie-France says:

Eternal: exactly. I agree with everything you said.

      • Crumpet says:

Honestly, I can’t get worked up about the rantings of someone who is clearly out of touch with reality.

      • Kri says:

@ESE…all truth my friend. With you 100%.

    • zinjojo says:

LAK, I’ve been on a burn about his Rwandan genocide “inspiration” since I read about it. If he’s not mentally ill, then he’s either one of the stupidest narcissists who has ever lived.

I have to stop reading Kanye posts, he makes me angry and there’s way more important things to be angry about in the world right now than this twit.

  18. teatimeiscoming says:

I know this isn’t the point, but OMG why is Kim wearing something that makes her look shorter and stumpier?! She needs to forbid her husband from dressing her…or anyone. Yikes.

  19. Aussie girl says:

It’s really getting out of control. I’m hoping he really isn’t ill but this guy makes me mad. He wants millions because he can make the world a better place with his music and art. He’s cause is so self absorb, mark has pledge money to real causes because having a roof over your head, health services, education and food is more vital and life changing than music that puts down women and a $500 jumper that looks like and probably is from a thrift shop. Alot of artist struggle and still create great pieces of work. I’ve really tried to not call him mentally ill in the past but I feel like he is getting more delusional and it’s all building up to a break down.

  20. Lin says:

This guy is crazy. He’s mentally unstable and if we can “diagnose” Halle Berry, then we can do so to Kanye too. I’m tired of people making excuses for this man-child. And if y’all don’t pop your tittle out of his mouth and stop infantalizing and stop attributing his antics to his mom’s passing…..
You’re asking Facebook CEO to help you on TWITTER!!!! jeez. I hope Beyoncé and her husband stays away from this mess. You can’t manage your own money but you think you’re Steve Jobs, Walt Disney, Pablo Picasso rolled in one… and you wanna be president too. This guy is mad but has no one to tell him

    • Sochan says:

Personally, I think Kanye hates what he sees in the mirror. I know this sounds like pop psychology, but I believe his own self-loathing is the source of his rage. Being around others who (by his perception) have more than he has, while be believes he’s misunderstood and not appreciated properly, only intensifies his self-hatred.

      • Dr. Funkenstein says:

Self hatred lies at the core of narcissistic personality disorder. Not that I’m suggesting anyone has it, mind you.

      • GingerCrunch says:

Well, you are a Dr., so your comment carries a little weight for me. 😉

      • Crumpet says:

Ooh, does it? Having been the victim of narcissistic mother enmeshment, this makes so much sense.

      • Dr. Funkenstein says:

Hey, child of double narcissistic parents here, so I know where you’re coming from.

      • Caz says:

He’s angry that he’s living a charade of a life and can’t come out and live openly with his boyfriend.

Kim’s angry that she still has to wear big clothes to hide her weight.

        So much anger. Poor North.

  21. Hannah says:

Hes so out of touch. Why would zuckerberg fund that vanity project?

I streamed his cd on some website When it was available before he took that link down to force people to pay for tidal.( I am not subscribing to that tidal bullshit)
As expected the production is good. The problem is the lyrics are exceptionally bad.
Which is a problem for a rapper.
I mean some of the songs i wished were instrumental because of the lyrics. It’s not just that they are dripping with misogyny it’s that they are lame and cheesy
He badly needs rymefest and consequence to come back to write his lyrics again.
Also far too much auto tune.

    • Denise says:

The greatest artist of all time didn’t write the music or lyrics of his best songs. Uh-huh.

    • Christin says:

Judging by his tweets, he can barely express anything. He has to have help writing any song that remotely makes sense.

  22. PunkyMomma says:

So much wrong – where to start?

    – I don’t buy he’s that in debt.
    – Somebody, please, save that lovely young child from these crazies.
    – Kim – you’re not Heidi.

Why are these circus people relevant – they’re not even entertaining. (Ryan Seacrest – there’s a special place in hell for you.)

    • vilebody says:

+1. I don’t think he’s in as much debt as he says, just because I don’t see how that would add up, but what is the purpose of lying about it? I don’t understand.

    • Jwoolman says:

I’m hoping Kanye’s family is keeping a close eye on Nori. I know his aunt was involved earlier and there are young relatives working as nannies. She does have Khloe, Kourtney, and probably Kendall (who was carrying her at the show) as nurturing types. Not sure about Kylie, who seems to be in such distress herself that she may not be able to be much help right now. But Nori’s mom and dad both have serious problems that interfere with nurturing and bonding. And Demon Grandmother just has dollar signs in her eyes whenever she looks at Nori.

  23. The Eternal Side-Eye says:

Also could we get a post about Martin Shkrelli getting (allegedly) defrauded out of millions while trying to buy Kanye’s album?

Two douchebags got screwed off one CD (Kanye and Shkrelli).

    • stou says:

Well i think those two have, with the k, the attitude that is really, really fucking up our world…
Between that, trump going for president, cheban school for little rich scumbags to teach them how to be even more rich scumbags, i’m really worried about the future.

      • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

Jeez, your last paragraph frustrated me so much once I realized how many rich do-nothing idiots we have running around.

    • Naya says:

Lmao. Shkrelli hiphop/bitcoins tantrum gave me so much joy. I love it when a dbag has a bad day.

  24. lower-case deb says:

wait. that comment about schools in Africa…
is that for real? like how? how can a person be conceited to think that he’s infinitely more important than giving hundreds of children access to education?!

i tend to dismiss his other Twitterants to Celeb-ego. but this one is going a bit far isn’t it?

    is it just for sensationalism?
like he’s sitting at home cackling at us gullible readers thinking he meant any of it…
or does he actually really mean it??

    the mind boggles!

    • Aren says:

I was wondering the same thing. But it seems he’s just mentally unstable due to the environment he’s been living in (The K-klan).
Just look at Rob, that poor guy ended physically ill.

      • Crumpet says:

Naw, he’s mentally unstable because of a chemical imbalance.

      • Chrissy says:

        @Crumpet
I don’t think whatever he’s on is helping either. We’re watching the effects of cocaine frying his brain too IMO. The paranoia, flights of fantasy, mania contributing to endless twittering – all bad signs.

The Ks have nothing to gain by getting him any help. He might finally see them for what they really are. All this madness is keeping them in the news, especially Kim. The only ones I worry about are those kids.

  25. Wentworth Miller says:

    I’m begging you for $1billion.
    You have until tomorrow!
You know, under those conditions, I’d be the first to step up and hand over that money.

  26. BengalCat2000 says:

    So.Much.Fur. 😡

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Yes, aside from his general insanity and the jaw dropping arrogance of saying his clothes are more important than schools, there’s something obscene about a toddler in fur.

  27. Tiffany27 says:

Is there no one who can tell him to log off?

  28. iGotNothin says:

OMG…the outfit in that last picture. What. The. Fawk?!

She’s wearing a fur, what appear to be workout clothes, and jelly sandals?

  29. NGBoston says:

    Dear Kanye:

    STFU!!!!!!!!!

    The End.

  30. Bluesky says:

Looks like he has fallen victim to the Kardashian Kurse!

  31. AlmondJoy says:

Is it bad that I’m starting to feel sorry for him again? 😣😖

I know he’s disgusting and I said I was done with him. But I’m really worry about him as well. I listed to the album yesterday… He’s severely depressed among other things…

Also, can we discuss the SNL appearance?

    • Aussie girl says:

What did you think over all of he’s album.and I haven’t seen or heard anything from SNL, was it bad?

      • AlmondJoy says:

The album was good. I cringed at the use of the B word and it made me thank God that none of the men in my life disrespect me in that way. But as for the rap… It was amazing. Straight up. The production was great, the cameos were great and Kanye confessed to a lot of things. The SNL performance was churchy and ridiculous but I couldn’t stop watching. The cameo by Chance The Rapper was epic. Kelly Price’s singing was amazing. The choir had tons of fun. Kanye laid on the floor and then acted frantic and crazy while announcing that his album was out.

I also loved the “The Day Beyonce Turned Black” skit which addressed how shocked and offended people were about Beyonce being pro black and making a song that wasn’t necessarily “for” white people.

      • Jessie says:

Listened to the album 5 times.
it is not as bad as some people said it would be and not as great as some say. Feels like a collage of his previous works
It’s got some good moment and some terrible moments. Sonically good- lyrically it’s a complete mess.

    • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

I think it’s human to feel bad for him, I’m more so baffled than sorry over here but I can’t deny the people who look at what he’s going through now and are genuinely concerned there’s something deeply wrong.

I didn’t see his SNL performance but I did see, “The Day Beyonce Turned Black.” I know SNL has been slipping but every so often they just have GOLD. It’s true, lol, I think a lot of folks had this sudden shock just like from the skit. “Wait this isn’t for us? But EVERYTHING’S for us!”

    • jeanpierre says:

The SNL appearance is the only thing Pablo-related I watched. I’m dying to hear the album but I don’t want to condone in any way his current behavior. I know what I do doesnt matter in the grand scheme of things but it matters to me. He totally lost me with the Cosby tweet, among other things. No way sir. But I am still here talking about him so hey what can I say 🙂
I loved the performance, with the choir, Kelly Price marvelous voice, and Chance was so good. Kanye seemed happy, as he should cause that is a great song.
Are the lyrics in that album as problematic as in Yeezus?

      • LAK says:

Jeanpierre: in the grand scheme of things, it takes only one person to make a change. One person. Change can lead to amazing things – see every so-call insignificant person who made one small change and sparked greater change.

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

I don’t think it’s bad to feel sorry for him. If he’s mentally ill, that’s sad. If he truly believes what he’s saying, and isn’t mentally ill, he is lost. Either way, it’s sad.

      • Lahdidahbaby says:

Yes, GNAT, exactly. I have been defending Kanye on this site for years and voicing my (occasionally embarrassed) affection for him. I have most of his music and I do think that at his best he can be creatively brilliant. But as a writer, I worked in a lockdown psych unit for five years doing writing therapy for the seriously mentally ill, and all I can think when I hear Kanye raving this week is that he is and has been for a while cycling madly between up and down, gradiosity and fear, hubris and paranoia. I wouldn’t pretend to be qualified to diagnose him after my five years of mental health work, but I don’t think it takes a psychiatrist to see that he is unwell, in crisis, and caught in a severe manic phase.

Again, that’s only my take, and I only worked with the severely mentally ill for five years, but I saw many off-their-meds bi-polar patients behaving EXACTLY like this. For that reason, although I’m appalled by his language, his disrespectful view of women, and his disgusting materialism, I think he is in a terrifying mental health crisis, probably can’t control himself right now – and unless he gets help or somehow cycles back out of this phase, I see something very sad looming on the horizon – a real tragedy of some sort.

So yes, I feel sorry for him and concerned for not only him, but for everyone who loves him, especially his children.

  32. here's Wilson says:

I’m loving every second of this! Haha! The first entertaining piece of dribble from the Kardashian house ever. Go broke chump! I’m actually smiling into my coffee. Normally I wouldn’t take so much pleasure in someone else’s pain but this is karma and fuck Kanye. Little prick. 🙂 🙂 One great album a decade plus ago does not a genius make.

    • Zwella Ingrid says:

I’m with you Wilson. I think it’s hilarious he is going broke, and I hope it’s true.

  33. stou says:

Seriously, i joked (sorry) but the man is sick and it’s no fun… He needs professional help, he’s going nuts since his mother died and now he’s not far from the breakdown. he should take a break, leave every social media and seek help, hope the kardashian can understand and see that before it goes too far and REALLY help him……..

    • Petee says:

He was like this before she passed away.I wish people would stop using this as a pass for him to be a asshole. He misses her so much because she must of spoiled the hell out of him.He act’s just like one giant toddler.

      • swak says:

And if he was/is having trouble getting over her death then he should seek help. Tired it also being the reason he is off the rails.

      • stou says:

ho no i’m not giving a pass to him, i see the dangerosity of him making such a declaration in those times but i truly believe that he’s sick and going downward, money oesn’t resolve everything and h’s lost touch. just have a look at what his cowriter has to say about him. He’s always been very special but it’s looking more and more dement and it’s just frightening, guy has a toddler and a new born bby and I can’t see that without alittle pity… (Now i am corruptible, ****.)

  34. stou says:

Come on celebitchers! Let’s everyone give 100 dollars to Kanye, we can raise one billion if everyone make a little effort! We’re living such a lavish livestyle, just think about the others for one time.
Help the genius change the world with stupid clothes and raise awareness for those poor hip hop wives who can’t afford 20 surgery per year.
Peasants from around the world, forget your mortgage, food, education fees and basic needs so the genius of our generation can finally have the fund to revolution humanity with “Ideaaas”.
(Read: lavish ego clothes/events/shows/albums/freaky birkins and let’s not forget, gold plated toilet).
Fair priorities : Fuck the third world, they have mud pastries to eat, Kanye needs to make clothes.

  35. Liane says:

Why would the CEO of Facebook even pay attention to a Twitter rant? Is Zuckerberg even on Twitter?

  36. swak says:

The outfit Kim has on in the first picture makes her b@@bs look like they are down to her waist – not a good look. Second, yesterday it was 33 degrees below zero wind chill in NYC. Frostbite happens quickly in that type of situation. Where is North’s hat, scarf and gloves? Don’t care if Kim is wearing them or not as she can make her own decisions to wear them or not. North depends on someone else to dress her appropriately. Won’t even go into why a fur coat on North. Also, he reached out to Larry Page who is co-founder of Google. Waiting for the divorce. Kanye also looks stoned in that first pic – maybe it’s just a bad pic, who knows.

    • Mare says:

There’s also times when they’re out in the sun. Everyone is wearing big sunglasses except North, she squints her eyes all the time.

  37. BAT says:

Wow. He’s the most stupendous example of a NARCISSIST I’ve ever witnessed.

  38. jlee says:

He is pure delusion. Panty hose refugees and wack ass auto tune singing does not a genius make. This man just had a new child. Go focus on your family for a few months and give us all a break. Put your little tweeting fingers away and go give your new baby a bottle and a warm bubble bath. Inspiration might strike and you might actually make something good again.

  39. Calico Cat says:

I have to ask: Is Kanye REALLY 53 million in debt? Because if all we have is his own word for it- well, I dunno.

  40. zan says:

    ”I’m this generation’s Disney… I want to bring dope sh-t to the world…”

    Sure Kanye..sure…

  41. Dre dog says:

Kim k is morphing into blac chyna

  42. NewWester says:

Why doesn’t Kanye ask his good friends JayZ and Beyoncé for a loan? It is funny how that friendship cooled off quickly

    • Chrissy says:

I read somewhere that he already borrowed millions from JayZ recently. For what? I don’t know but JayZ is one of his creditors. Could be why things have cooled between them.

      • NewWester says:

I read a Blind Gossip item about a celebrity loaning money to a musical artist and the popular guess was JayZ and Kanye. I wonder if there is some truth behind it

  43. Jessie says:

Makes me laugh how he’s like I retook the throne of rap. To be the best rapper you’d have to be good at rapping and a gifted lyricist. To pimp a butterfly is leagues above lyrically. He’s not even close to kendrick.
He should go for the throne of best producer instead. His guest artists make this album, his rapping is the worst part of it.

  44. BNA Fn says:

This is the part I like, “Mark…one of the coolest thing you could ever do is to help me in my time of need and I will always respect you for that and the world will love you …”. Did he forget to say I will repay you. Also, if the K and J family are as rich as they are trying to have us believe, why don’t they use their money to dig him out of this hole he has dug for himself. They van start a Gofund me page for him. I bet Kim is at her divorce lawyers as we speak. Seriously, KW needs an intervention with a psychiatrist, jmo.

    • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

After his donation of one billion Kanye West will personally write Mark Zuckerberg’s name on the sole of one of Kanye’s Yeezys so that Mark can finally walk with greatness.

He will repay Mark with the most beautiful dopest music that has never existed played through the megaphone of a chopper flying above African villages.

His next collection of Yeezy’s will all be in the color palette of Zuckerberg’s skin tone with shades of white and yellowish tinge.

A donation to Kanye is a donation for the future.

  45. lucy says:

    Asinine as always!

  46. Melody says:

If he wants money, he should just do what musicians do to make money: go on tour. It would give the Kraptrashians a new spin for the show, too.

    • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

Kanye is one of the few artists who can actually lose money on a tour.

He wants to be great and I can’t knock him for wanting to give his job 110% but from everything that’s been written he puts so much special effects and pyrotechnics in his shows that he ends up spending more than he makes from ticket sales.

Same with Gaga, she admitted to not seeing any money from her tours because of all the stuff she spent on wigs and special effects.

      • here's Wilson says:

Reminds me of Axel Rose paying truckloads to jump off a Navy ship for one shot in his video. ..GnR was bleeding cash and we all know how that ended up. . .I don’t care how much money he has spending like this he’ll run out eventually. .

        Again I chuckle 🙂

  47. TuffLuckCowgirl says:

Yeah, Zuckerburg, quit wasting your vast wealth on philanthropic endeavors – educational trusts, climate change, etc. Invest in something that will actually benefit future generations – – a self-absorbed fashion designer who raps. Yes, that’s it.

    • lile says:

heheheheheh Right??!!?? I have faith that Zuckerberg is smarter and has better morals than helping out a dude so obsessed with his image that he would dig himself a 54 million dollar hole!

    • Zwella Ingrid says:

I wish that Zuckerburg would put some kind of reply out there for Kanye. I doubt he replies at all, but I want him too so bad!

    • pinetree13 says:

I didn’t realize Zuckerberg was doing that much charity work. Good for him.

Kanye should have spent that $53 million on helping people instead of his stupid clothing line. Then people really would be talking about how great he is. So ironically by doing what he dissed (building schools for the poor) he would get what he ultimately wants…admiration.

  48. AG-UK says:

If he was really smart he would never invest out of his own personal finances and should have set up a company for such things. So could be the company in debt not his personal debt BUT that’s if you are smart enough to listen to financial advisors but I don’t think he listens to anyone.

  49. Paisley says:

Wow, can’t imagine Kim with a guy so heavily in debt. Guess she’s the one buying the houses which aren’t aren’t good enough for the artist who insists on gutting them, all on her dime.

  50. TessD says:

Nah, he doesn’t really think that Mark will give him money.
He is in business of staying relevant so he says outrageous things.
The more outrageous the more attention.

    • Denise says:

      He’s dead serious.

    • FingerBinger says:

Kanye does expect Zuckerberg to give him money.

      • TessD says:

See and I think he sorta says this to get attention. He doesn’t believe it will get him some of Mark’s money. It will get him publicity and attention which might get him a new TV show or something like that but Mark is not an idiot.

    • BNA Fn says:

Btw, why didn’t he hit up P Diddy , JaYZ, Dr Dre, Bey, CJ Jenner. I read CJ is worth $100m. Now we know why KK has been living at her mother’s. house for about two years now. KK was scared to be in the house with a mad man. IMO, that’s a sham marriage and now the cat is out of the bag. What did Amber Rose say, they will turn on him and I bet that will be soon. Also, Wendy Williams has been saying that the marriage is not real.

      • word says:

Yeah why is he hitting up rich white people he doesn’t even know personally, when he has a lot of rich Black friends he can get a loan from? I’m guessing they all said no lol. They know better.

  51. SM says:

It sometimes amazes me: how in the world two self absorbed, delussional people stay in a marriage and raise a family. It feels like they would just admire themselves in a mirror the whole day through without even noticing the world around them. I don’t watch the koven show but do they show actual conversations betweem Kanye and Kim? I imagine those conversations being so glorious you probaby can see your own brain from all the eye rolling while watching them interact.

    • Dr. Funkenstein says:

Well, they’re not raising the family. That’s what they have nannies for. And they don’t apparently spend much time together, either.

    • Brasileira says:

      Agree!

    • Sochan says:

Two such people can stay together as long as the co-dependent/enabler dynamic is there. Once something in that dynamic shifts, the relationship will fall apart. While we do living room diagnosis of Kanye, it’s important to remember that Kim is a total mess, too. They’re both able to feed their mental an emotional problems through the other person. When one gets healthier or fed up or finds someone better, then the relationship will fly all to hell. I think Kim is the one who will light the spark. She has a greater support system and is the more cunning of the two of them. And despite her personal problems, Kim is way better at keeping her shit together. She’s not going to let ANY man drag her into the dirt.

  52. Brasileira says:

    Selfish a**hole.

  53. suzysunshine says:

I wonder if Kanye is the kind of spouse that no one wants to get stuck with at a dinner party. You know the type–can’t shut up about what their selling–insurance, real estate, stocks whatever. The wife is cringing in the corner making excuses for him–and wishing he could just tone it down for once!

    • pinetree13 says:

ha ha he sooooo is! Newsflash: real geniuses don’t walk around referring to their own genius.

  54. I Choose Me says:

So, he IS having a mental breakdown right? This is not just him seeking attention. Or is he really that delusional?

  55. CK says:

Run, Kim. That’s too much crazy to have around those babies, unsupervised. If this is what he types when given a 130 character limit, just imagine what it is like to live with him. Kanye has been on a steady decline, but he’s going into “hide the guns and knives” territory now.

  56. Lbliss says:

Fur is still socially unacceptable right? Gawd that is disgusting. I wish fur was illegal.

  57. serena says:

He should just shut up, he’s embarrassing himself. And probably all the K-J clan, I bet Lucifer’s homegirl is already thinking about throwing Kanye out of the fam.

    • lile says:

You KNOW she is. She pulled a Kourtney. She wanted to make sure all her babies had the same daddy and not different ones. Mission Accomplished and Time To Move On!!! Can you feel it coming????

      • me says:

Yeah and this divorce will be easy to get out of too because no one would question her motives. She’ll get plenty of attention dating other guys while Kanye will have a full on meltdown. It’s a win-win for the Kardashians.

  58. word says:

So can we assume he won’t be running for president in 20/20 then?

  59. teehee says:

LOLLL Oh, what a nutsa— I mean, nutjob— well, both actually. I am kinda laughing also because finally, his true nature is becoming apparent to all. I hated him starting many years ago… But man, I am on negative hatred for him by now– its all used up. I cant borrow anymore from the universe, its stopped lending to me…

  60. Rhiley says:

Serious question: Should we believe that he is really this far into debt or that he is just seeking attention and publicity for his new album?

    • word says:

With the Kardashian Kult you never know what the truth is. Something fishy is happening for sure. They may all be laughing at us for being dumb enough to fall for it all. Who knows.

Also, does dumbf*ck Kanye even know that Africa is NOT a country???

    • lile says:

I would question it but for the crap he calls fashion. How much money did he invest in this tragedy???? NO ONE in their right mind would wear that garbage.

    • TessD says:

He might be in debt but he is definitely more about seeking attention. It’s his job to stay relevant.

  61. lucy2 says:

I have no patience for people who have a ton of opportunity and income, flaunt their money like crazy, and squander it all. This guy has had a very successful music career, and producers for others. He’s been paid well for all of it. If he’s in debt, he needs to earn more than he spends, not expect wealthier people to bail him out. He could start selling off whatever ridiculous empty houses they own, and stop throwing money at the lost cause of being a fashion designer.

“I’m this generation’s Disney” Well, maybe if you compare him to Walt’s issues with women.

    • lile says:

Exactly. That’s like Tori Spelling asking Zuckerberg for help because she blew through 18 million dollars in 8 years! I mean, come on people…..that is beyond irresponsible. It is completely reckless. They will just keep burning through it, no matter how much they get.

    • Christin says:

No sympathy for people who do this. If this heavy debt scenario is true, then pare down the lifestyle and give up all but the basic necessities.

The problem with some people is that they want their heavily frosted cake and eat it, too. They also may have a very broad view of what a necessity is. To this guy, necessities include a gold toilet and probably hundred dollar bills as paper to place beside it.

      • Flowerchild says:

I believe that he’s that much in debt, it been going around for years that Kanye was having a lot of money issues. Maybe he thought his marriage to Kim would generate money, but it seem to have done the opposite.

    • AnneR says:

Why hasn’t he begged Oprah to bail him out?
Since Nuclear Wintour has coddled his ego and made him think he is a design genius, why doesn’t she rescue him?

  62. Velvet Elvis says:

Oh boo hoo. The only way this could be any more ridiculous is if Kanye stood on Rodeo Drive with a tin cup in his hand.

    • me says:

OMG that should have been his new album’s cover shot. I bet this dude has millions in the bank but doesn’t want to waste his own money lol.

  63. rudy says:

It is effing freezing in NYC right now.
Why is Nori wearing no hat or gloves??????????????????????????????????????
Why is Nori wearing ripped pants???????????????????

  64. lile says:

I imagine being 56 million in debt is enough to push anyone over the edge, but lets face it. He has been exhibiting worrying symptoms for a heck of a lot longer than one month. Having said that, I can’t imagine Zuckerberg would jump in to help him out considering the lavish lifestyle he lives. Maybe he needs to take it down a notch or a thousand???? My suggestion only, of course, from a peon single mother of 2, who must live within her budget.

    • Christin says:

Millions to him is like thousands to the rest of us, in terms of what he can earn and spend.

Instead of handling his millions in earnings more responsibly, he spent (wasted) money like he had a neverending supply.

  65. TessD says:

BTW, Mark’s birthday is in May – why is Kanye saying it’s his birthday?

  66. TessD says:

Maybe he can make a sex tape with Kim and sell it for pretty penny?

    • me says:

Hey this family is capable of anything ! I wouldn’t be surprised if Kanye is the newest cast member of KUWTK next season (even though he hates the show).

Kanye’s logic makes no sense. He lost millions on stupid business adventures that tanked, so why would anyone give him MORE money so that he can do more business adventures that will tank? He won’t be able to pay anyone back. If his ideas are so “genius” why hasn’t anything worked for him yet?

  67. islandwalker says:

50 million dollars to create…what? Pantyhose onsies? No. Throwing that much money away while helping no one is a travesty. He is in serious need of an intervention but nobody cares.

  68. My Two Cents says:

That pic above makes him look really not well in the eyes. Mentally I mean. I believe he has squandered away any money he had on his ridiculously expensive antics. He is probably maxed out on everything. Pressure is on for this album so he’s on overload and the crazy is on full display.
Kim and these fur coats make me sick. Looks like he is dressing her because she is failing big time. His rant explains why she still lives with PimpMom.

  69. Daria Morgendorffer says:

I really felt sorry for him yesterday after I saw the clip of his SNL performance and saw how genuinely excited he was afterward to announce his album. He has once again lost me by making dumb ass comments that show him to be insanely self absorbed and out of touch with reality. HIs comments about giving him charitable donations being more useful than opening schools in Africa are just ridiculous–there is no better way to sum them up than that.

I’m sure Kris Jenner and Kim are both humiliated and worrying about their brand right now as Kanye begs for money.

What is most nauseating about all of this to me is that Kim and Kanye have made it their shtick to show off their opulent wealth since they got together–this is a woman who has bragged about modeling her home closet after YSL stores… she was just featured on an episode of their TV show betting her mom $1 million dollars if she could find her 10 slabs of some fancy marble. He literally just bragged on his new album that he’s better than Ray-J because he’s rich. They’ve built their brand as a couple off of showcasing their opulence and wealth. They held their fucking rehearsal dinner at Versailles for God’s sakes. He spent millions of a proposal to her. Now the world is supposed to stop because Kanye can’t find a financial backer to try to make it as a designer?

I’m not going to play psychologist here and try to come up with all the signs and symptoms of whatever mental disorder he might have but it IS puzzling that anyone could act the way that he does and it doesn’t seem feasible that there wouldn’t be something wrong because mentally well people do not behave this way. It goes deeper than just not having a filter, and the excuse that he’s just so artistic that he can’t help himself is bullshit. He acts like a petulant child and whoever doesn’t give him his way is immediately a target for his wrath. What happens when Zuckerberg doesn’t fund his dream of becoming a fashion designer? Does he go off on a tangent about how outdated and corny Zuckerberg is? Because he went to Louis Vuitton for funding and got shut down and bashed them for years. He released an entire song dissing Nike and actually calls for crowds at his show to chant “Fuck Nike.” It’s just so extra, tedious and fucking exhausting.

Billions of people in this world have dreams and aspirations that will never be realized. Millions of children want to be astronauts but will never achieve that because they simply lack the brain power required. Whatever the reason, not everyone accomplishes everything that they wish that they could. It would do Kanye a world of good to stop thinking that he is some special chosen one and accept that he has ZERO design talent and this is not something that is going to work for him. He has himself to blame for his debt. No one owes him financial backing and no one HAS to help him dig himself out of the hole that he dug and continues to dig.

    • EscapedConvent says:

Great post, Daria. I agree with all of this. And I was wondering if anyone saw his SNL performances, because they were a hot mess. I almost felt sorry for him too when I saw them, because he thinks what he does is art. I think he’s kind of standing on a cliff now, and possibly on his way to a serious breakdown.

    • pinetree13 says:

Exactly, why do only his dreams matter? How about the BILLIONS of people in this world living in abject poverty…why should your dreams be more important than food and education for them?

I just can’t handle this level of selfishness. It was like on that post where people were rushing to the defense of celebrities that donate just $10, 000 to charity…which is NOTHING, NOTHING! In fact, the kick back in tax break means it LITERALLY cost them nothing to do that. They won’t even give what is the equivalent of $100 to you or I to charity and we are supposed to be impressed when they do the littlest amount of good. Then again, I suppose they’re at least better than this D-bag asking for a handout when he is amoung the elite living a lifestyle of opulence and luxury. Think about it, these people have never done their own laundry, cleaned their own toilet, had to want or wait for anything.

Oh geez, I just went on a Kanye rant. Great comment Daria!

  70. Em' says:

Nothing says I’m in debt like your 2 years old baby girl walking around town in a fur coat and an IPhone 6 in hands…
Please would someone help this poor family for pete’s sake ?!

  71. HeyThere! says:

Oh, my, gosh. I enjoy his early music. What the hell is he doing? Going on Twitter and saying he’s a better investment than schools in a place where running water is a huge luxury?! It’s so selfish and sad to see him doing this. As his wife and child run around in fur coats and dripping in diamonds?! How can he come back from this?? Someone needs to cancel his wifi, drop his phone in the toilet, do something to make him stop. He needs a technology vacation.

    • me says:

Can we now say Kanye doesn’t care about Black people just like Bush?

Secondly, the Kardashians are probably egging him on, telling him to tweet more. It is keeping them in the news and will help Kim when she files for divorce from this “lunatic”.

      • Christin says:

The second point is something that would not surprise me. Kris calls him a genius in an interview, so they are feeding his delusions.

  72. jean says:

If only Kim would give up wearing dead animals on her back.
As for putting a dead animal on her daughter — nothing sadder.

One day maybe, she will see a video of animals being stripped of their skins alive — maybe then she will find that she no longer wants to wear them.

  73. me says:

I’m surprised Kanye didn’t make an old timey proposal to Mark. Like you know, arrange Saint’s marriage to Mark’s daughter. I promise my only son and heir, will one day marry your daughter. In exchange, all I ask for is 1 billion dollars.

  74. Jasmine Warfield says:

If ur going to ask the man for a billion dollars at least say ” Happy Birthday ” first damn

    • word says:

But the funny thing is Mark’s birthday is May 14 ! Maybe Yeezus decided to change Mark’s bday, since you know he has that power.

  75. Olenna says:

Best thing about this article–“crazy doesn’t come cheap”, LOL!

  76. word says:

Ughhh so first he begged people to sign up for Tidal. Now he is thanking everyone for making Tidal the number one app in the world. WTH? I hate this generation. They are the ones making Kanye think he holds such power. Stop it !!!!!!

    • Kate says:

Sadly, they are also the generation asking the world for a free ride. I’ve seen go fund me pages for the stupidest things. No one knows the value of hard work and sacrifice anymore.

    • Zwella Ingrid says:

Tidal is not the #1 app in the world. Not even close to the top from what I can see, unless I’m missing something!

    • Crimson says:

      @Kate:
My sons, 21 and 25 respectively, are some of the hardest working people I know. They were taught at a young age to be hard workers. It built character and improved opportunities available to them. They learned the value of a dollar at a young age because they had to earn it and were not given anything they wanted whenever they wanted it. They, nor their friends, would ask anyone for a “free ride,” but I’m sure you know others their age who would. The problem is parents have stopped being parents to their kids and instead want to “be their friend.” Don’t blame this generation – blame the one before it responsible for creating it.

  77. rianic says:

Next he’ll start a GoFund me page asking rah fan to donate $20. Didn’t the Duggars do that?

  78. BRE says:

why is it when average folks go in debt that badly they are trying to keep a roof over their heads and eating crappy, cheep food while rich people like Kanye are still flying around in private jets and renting out stadiums? I feel sorry for the truly talented fashion designers who have to sell everything they have for a chance at renting out a closet for Fashion week!

  79. BNA Fn says:

KW IS tweeting again. There are new tweets. It would appears he’s in a manic state. I’m not a psychiatrist or psychologist, jmo.

    • me says:

Hmmm ok so now he’s saying he IS rich and can afford furs and houses…what happened to the debt he owed? This is all b.s. He even said he got phone calls from billionaires wanting to help him now. OMG I hate this world. Stupid people feeding his f*cking ego.

      • Flowerchild says:

        @me

Kanye says a lot and most of what he says isn’t true. Do you really believe billionaire are calling him after this little rant? If what he’s tweeting right know was true he wouldn’t be in debt to begin with and wouldn’t have to go on Twitter to beg for money. While I believe he is in debt for millions, I also believe Kanye is doing all of this for attention.

In the last couple of weeks Kanye has made a pattern of making crazy statements on Twitter and backtracking them days later, which is what he’s doing here. I won’t be surprised if Kanye buys or does something elaborate to show how much money he has soon because no way is Kim ok with people thinking she with so broke loser.

      • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

Even if ‘billionaires’ are calling him it’s not necessarily a good thing, look what happened with Martin Shkrelli and the Wu Tang Clan album.

Kanye is stupid enough to sell his soul to someone for the highest dollar.

      • Jwoolman says:

Kanye has a history of claiming people called him when they never did. At one point he was saying that President Obama has his phone number and calls. The Prez actually went to the trouble of denying that he even had Kanye’s number… Can’t tell if Kanye is delusional and hallucinating or just lying.

  80. lisa2 says:

I can believe he is in debt. And he stressed trying to figure out a way OUT OF IT. We see this all the time. Celebrities that front like they are rich beyond rich; but the bottom line is they don’t have the money they claim to have. Kanye has been living large for a long time. And despite what people say about his music he hasn’t had a song that has taken off in a long time. I’m sure he has borrowed against things and is desperate for his Brands to make money. His cloths are not selling I bet; and he financed it himself. So now the grits have hit the fire and it is crunch time.

And I think the same with the Kardashian; they don’t have the money they front like they do. Kim was suppose to have made all this money from that game. Why would Kanye need money if he and his wife are a TEAM. It is expensive to live like these people do.

Smoke and Mirrors is their life. SMOKE AND MIRRORS.

    • Flowerchild says:

Exactly smoke and mirrors. Remember when Kim put out that she $40 million on the game which turned out to be a lie and in reality she only made something like $8 or $10 million that have to split with her momager.

      • Flowerchild says:

I forget to add that Bethenny Frankle did the samething with her Skinny girl martini. She put it out there that she made $20 million, but actually didn’t make close to that.

  81. EscapedConvent says:

Why, why, why is Kim wearing that bizarre platinum Game of Thrones hairdo? North is cute as a button, but she seems to be getting indoctrinated into the “No Smiling—It Gives You Wrinkles” philosophy of life. That poor sweet little girl. It’s highly unlikely she’s going to grow up with much reality in her life. I mean actual reality, not scripted reality TV.

  82. Gabriella says:

Next up Kanye’s gonna tweet that he wants Drake to murder his vagina.

  83. Jessie says:

His Twitter meltdowns cleared up a few things for me.
    1) He cannot spell
    2) Kanye west no longer cares about poor black people, just like George D. Bush ( at least not the sort that lives in Africa).
    3) He thinks Africa is a country just like .. Yeah…George D.Bush
    4) He wants to spend his money on furs and houses. He wants to spend other people’s money on his artistic endeavours.
    5) His ego and narcissism, combined with ignorance is only rivalled by Donald Trump.

I always wondered what he saw in Kim, given his English teacher mother I thought he had a general level of education. Now I see that I overestimated him.

  84. Queenie says:

Bipolar mania and spiraling fast. Needs to be stabilized and rested. I hope someone helps him soon.

  85. Velvet Elvis says:

Michael Jackson was the biggest entertainer in the world and owned that highly lucrative ATV music catalog yet he was millions upon millions of dollars in debt when he died. Kanye with his luxurious lifestyle and blowing all that money on his design hobby, it’s not the least bit surprising to me that he’s that deep in debt.

  86. What's inside says:

Somebody call the guys with the butterfly nets. Shame is a concept that neither he nor his inlaws have the foggiest notion of.

  87. knower says:

money on PMK and Kim planning his exit from the family as we type these comments. BG’s “Reversal of Fortunes” blind today says it all. Not surprising.

Also, the grandiose statements, lashing out, exaggerations as the normal, narcissism, exhibitionism…these are all symptoms of mania in a bipolar individual. I hope he seeks help for the sake of himself…and his children. Hell, he and Rob Kardashian could use this opportunity to shine a light on mental illness. You know though they would never.

    • Lee says:

That was an interesting read. As I am not a psychologist, I still find his tantrums to be blatant acts of a rebellious child. If he needs money so badly, he should look to his wife’s family. In addition, if you don’t have the cash then you can’t afford it. That is what life is for the other 98% of us Kayne.

  88. Emily C. says:

My armchair diagnosis: capital-N Narcissist, full-blown NPD, with no one who used to keep him somewhat in check around any longer.

  89. Jana says:

Looks like the Kardashian women have pushed yet another one of their men over the edge…

  90. Aurora says:

$$$ to invest in K becoming a hermit? may work.

  91. Jaxx says:

I no longer see any of this as a laughing matter. This is worse than watching Britney Spears meltdown in public. And at least she has a father who cared enough to pull her out of the deep end and not only help her but keep helping her be well. Who does Kanye have?

I just hope this whole mess doesn’t explode in some kind of awful violence within his family. God help him and those two babies.

  92. Liyou says:

Somebody should tell this ignorant douche that Africa is not a country.

    • BritAfrica says:

      IKR? Ignorant twerp!

Broke??…please, it couldn’t happen to a nicer bloke. This guy is the US’s Liam Gallagher. Both will be very poor middle-aged musicians soon. Kanye hasn’t gotten another woman pregnant yet?? Only a matter of time…..

  93. Ronnie says:

‘you’d rather open up one school in Africa like you really helped the country’

    Um Kanye, Africa is not a country – it’s a continent…

First time post here but KW’s meltdown is too intriguing. I always thought that this family was super rich.

First question: why Kayne does not ask his wife for help ? On celebritynetworth.com, Kim’s net worth is $85 millions with a $30 million annual revenue. Enough to make most of us jealous. And she’s the richest of the Kardashians. She could kill that debt in no time. However the same source gives a net worth of $145 millions for Kayne, so I am not sure how accurate those numbers are, but Kim always seemed to me as a savy business woman who bakned well on her fame.

Second question: how long Kim and mamma Kris will tolerate Kayne and his antics ? His debt talk and begging for money must be humiliating for them, unless it is all another publicity stunt to bring attention to his new album, maybe with a mix of mental issues, narcissism and delusions of grandeur.

Is Kanye mentally ill? Perhaps. Would he benefit from psychological help? Absolutely. Is he really that different from the rest of us? Maybe not as much as we’d like to think.
