I don’t know about you guys, but I’m really enjoying the Korlando* rollout. These two make sense together, and they’re doing an old-fashioned “tell the press details and stage paparazzi photos” strategy instead of just oversharing in interviews or using social media to gush about each other. For those of you who can’t bother to remember (most of you), these two first hooked up around mid January. They announced their relationship six weeks later with some insider quotes and went on a well-documented vacation to Hawaii looking loved-up. Then last week we saw photos of them outside at a resort in Santa Barbara laying all over each other. Now E!, which has had all the insider stories on these two, has news of their trip to Disneyland over the weekend. It’s been a whole week since we’ve had an update so I’m sure you’re eagerly awaiting this news:
E! News has learned that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom spent the day enjoying the rides and atmosphere at Disneyland in Southern California, and these two lovebirds seemed to have a blast together—and they definitely didn’t shy from the PDA.
“Orlando and Katy were very hands-on with each other during their trip to Disney,” a source tells E! News. “They were like little kids. It seemed like they were married the way they were acting with each other. They were holding hands and Orlando sneaked a kiss on one ride. They looked happy and in love.”
The insider adds, “Katy loves Disney. She has been there countless of times”
Fans caught wind of the stars in their midst and took to Twitter to share the exciting news.
One user tweeted, “Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are on the tours flight deck right now,” while another snapped a picture of Perry, who attempted to go incognito in a long trench coat and visor, with the caption, “Hello Katy Perry.”
These two have been spreading their PDA all across SoCal lately. Just after taking a short romantic getaway together in Santa Barbara, Calif., recently, the couple were spotted packing on the lovefest yet again while enjoying a beach day out in Malibu.“They looked very loved up and were paying more attention to each other than the view,” an eyewitness told E! News exclusively at the time, adding that they were seen lip-locking for “a couple of minutes.”
Katy was just in Washington, DC this weekend. She instagrammed a photo of a back of a receipt she allegedly found on the floor at a Dunkin Donuts with an ode to cherry blossoms on it. (The Washington Post reported that she was there for a wedding. She’s done a lot of campaigning for Hillary too but that doesn’t seem to have been the reason for this trip.) So she must have headed back to California right after that. As for the supposed “eyewitness” sighting of these two, I’m sure it’s a publicist’s message considering that E! has had all the Korlando* news from the get-go. They need to take a page from Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s PR people and leak slightly different statements with the same message to several outlets. I’m not sure there’s that much interest though. You know what would get headlines? An Instagram post from Katy with Orlando and a cute message. Maybe she’s saving that for later though. They need to take a trip together and do some charity work, Orlando often does charity trips for the UN. That would get them more attention than going to Disney.

As far as Orlando and Katy being an item, it’s still weird to me. I’m not sure why, but it just seems like such a random pairing.
I love that she’s wearing a jacket in California – I know it’s not super warm yet but it’s like 5C (41F) here this morning, but we have a windchill so it’s just above freezing. I was out in shorts taking the dog to pee at 7am. You can tell the other people in the photo are probably also from a climate more like mine haha. As soon as we’re in the positives it’s like YAAASSSS SPRING! When we were in Florida – and this was like March/April in Florida – I thought I was going to die. Leaving a blizzard and going to like the best of our summer weather was such a shock. On top of that, I get a weird sensitivity/allergy to the sun. Hives and itching and all that jazz.
I’m still kind of weirded out by this couple. It’s not even that weird of a pairing, but it’s one I’d never in a million years predict. I guess if they’re happy – then great. I can’t say I’m a Perry fan at all – but I like Orlly. And I hope this works out.

You took the words right out of my mouth, CB. When I read the “like little kids” quote in the title my reaction was “WTF”. Then I read the paragraph and though, “Right, like married little kids… aren’t you all over the place”.
On the story itself, good for them if they’re having fun. Meh.

Odd couple. first Mayer for her then Orlando..didn’t Ed Sheerhan try to hook up Orlando eith Taylor Swift? And the Orlando lived in her building in New York till he moved out. Now Taylor never stays there either.
wonder if Taylor and Orlando had something on the downlow and then broke it off. So that’d mean Katy exes. Maybe she’ll go after Calvin one he and Taylor split up

Good for them, I say! She has made some awful choices in the past, so let’s hope this is different.
