Chloë Grace Moretz, 19, and Brooklyn Beckham, 17, have been rumored to be a couple for some time now – as far back as the 2014 Teen Choice Awards. Even though they have already enjoyed PDA-filled dinners with both of their families looking on, neither has officially confirmed their relationship. That is, not until now. Brooklyn fueled speculation by sprinkling his Instagram with pictures of Chloë. Two weeks ago, he posted the picture above of him kissing Chloë’s head. Last week, he followed up with this picture in which he calls her “bae”:
You know what they say, once it’s social media announced, it’s for real. To further silence any doubts, while promoting Neighbors 2 on Watch What Happens Live, Chloë admitted to Andy Cohen that she and Brooklyn are, in fact, dating.
We’ve long suspected that Chloë Grace Moretz and Brooklyn Beckham were a little more than just good friends.
And now the Kick Ass actress has finally confirmed she’s in a ‘relationship’ with the 17-year-old.
Appearing on US show Watch What Happens Live on Monday night, the 19-year-old was forced to get very honest as she took part in a game of ‘Plead the Fifth’ with host Andy Cohen.
“Last time you were here, I asked you about your relationship with Brooklyn Beckham,” he said. “You were like, ‘Uh, we’re friends.'”
There have been rumours swirling about the are-they-aren’t-they couple since 2014 – when Moretz played coy, saying: “He’s a very good guy. He’s a good person. I enjoy hanging out with him.”
During Monday night’s appearance, the stunner was much more blunt: “We’re in a relationship. It’s fine. It’s no biggie. And I think that, you know, the more I don’t make it mysterious, the more that people don’t care.
“So yes, we’re in a relationship.”
She also joked: “Very exciting news, I’m sure!”
Given that Chloë told InStyle UK that dating in the public eye “creates a mass frenzy and they follow you in separate cars so you can’t just run around and share little silly and cute moments,” I can see why she was evasive on her relationship during her prior appearance on WWHL. That makes me a little sad for them, those silly moments are the ones you keep going back to if the relationship survives.
In the same ‘Plead the Fifth’ segment, Chloë addressed her feud with Kim Kardashian. Cohen asked what she would say to Kim were they in an elevator together and Chloë responded, “I would say that, you know, I hope that we both use our platforms for the betterment of society. We have a lot of young women and young men to influence, and I hope we do that positively.” Cohen was also asked about her comments on refusing Taylor Swift’s invitation to join her squad. Chloë claimed that they asked her about the word squad and she said she didn’t like the word because “it does create exclusivity.” Then she said that it was never about Taylor or her squad. However, in her Complex interview they ask her directly if Taylor asked her to join her squad and Chloë said, “Yes.” I get that she might not want a fight with Taylor but she’s kind of rewriting history on this one, which is odd because Chloë usually sticks her landing on her opinions.

She was more than two years older than the toddler, though, as I recall.
And Chloe didn’t buy a house SPECIFIALLY to be near her new boyfriend. Taylor bought a house near her flavor of the month and wrote a song about the kennedys. They dated for a minute. And yes the gap was more than two years. Chloe and Brooklyn have known each other for a while and somewhere down the line started dating. Complete with parents so it’s appropriate. Taylor was not
Taylor was 21 or 22 and he was still in high school. There’s no real power gap between a 17 year old Beckham and a teenage actress of 19.
In that situation he was 17 and still in high school. She was a 22 year old superstar. That’s quite different in terms of stage difference. Not to mention the whole buying a house and signing the kid out of prep school for a hook up weekend.

I believe its the Parker in Palm Springs. I’ve stayed there once, I love that carpet. And the hotel is amazing. But i can hardly afford to stay there, so jealous that two teenagers can.

I think they are good friends who enjoy each other’s company, and they are willing to play it for media attention.

So everybody here only dated 17 years old people when they were 17? Nobody dated an 18 year old or 19 year old.
Regarding Taylor, Chloe didn’t backtrack she simply said he had nothing to with Taylor specifically.She doesn’t believe in “squads” because they exclude people.In college I was asked to pledge a specific sorority.I had nothing against that specific sorority,the members were nice but I didn’t like the fact that they excluded girls who didn’t look like them.
If she was a college freshman and he was a high school Junior – the age difference at 17 vs 19 is weird.
The college/high school divide is very big in the real world, as is the college/job divide. But I wonder in celebrity circles where some of the kids have been working forever and are not going to school or at least traditional school it is a little different.
I dated a 19 year old when I was 17. Actually he was 18 and I was 16 when we started, Dated him for just over 3 years (had a kid actually, but side story that). I don’t think it’s weird at all. In fact, at this point in time, I am technically 2 years older than my hubby. That changes in 6 weeks and we go back to the almost 2 years difference. Yes, we are adults, however we got together young, 21 and 19. Holy crap, that means 20 years this year……pardon me while I go get a drink 😉

Wow he’s a very very average looking guy. He’ll have to have a lot of talent and money to back him up, in an industry where beauty is a must. His dad was an average football player but mostly known for his looks and he used that to the max. The smith kids and Hadid family lucked out. I recently saw a pic of Anwar Hadid he is stunning.
