Justin Bieber’s selfie after brawl: ‘not a scratch on this pretty boy’

Last week, Justin Bieber made the unwise decision to enter into a street fight with Cleveland resident Lamont Richmond. Fighting on its own is generally not a good idea but to throw a punch at someone who towers over you is ill-advised at best. Now that more information is coming out about the incident, Bieber’s actions are becoming even more suspect. According to Lamont, the whole thing started over a request for an autograph and Bieber mouthing off before throwing a punch. To add insult to injury, Bieber felt the best response were some smart a** comments on social media.

Justin Bieber has made fun of himself for trying to take on a large fan after watching game three of the NBA Finals in Cleveland, Ohio, on Wednesday.

During a short clip posted to Instagram on Saturday, the 22-year-old pop star brings up violence as he talks to a pal in the back seat of a car: ‘Is that a fighting video? Because fighting’s not cool.’

His pal, looking like a street smart fellow with a dose of common sense, then added, ‘That’s why you don’t take on 6ft5in guys.’ Justin then looks at the camera and smirks.

This isn’t the first time Justin has reacted to the fight.

The day after the battle the singer took a cocky stance by posting a black-and-white pinup image with the caption: ‘Not a scratch on this pretty boy.’ Soon after he took down the post as followers did not react well to the attitude he was taking, with some even telling him he was not pretty.

According to Cleveland native Lamont Richmond – as reported by TMZ – things escalated when the fan asked Justin for an autograph for his girlfriends, while running into the star outside of the Westin hotel.

The group had reportedly chatted for a few minutes with no issue, before Lamont asked for the autographs/photos, after which Justin allegedly said: ‘no autographs tonight, motherf***er.’

A shoving match ensued and Justin threw a flurry of punches as the confrontation devolved into a brawl before the pair were restrained.

Lamont explained his side of things in a short video posted to Facebook, sharing: ‘I was with the girls. We just asked the d*** for an autograph.’

However his version of events seems to have been contradicted by a photo showing Justin posing with a female fan outside the hotel moments before the fight.

Lamont said that the star smelled of alcohol, and was certain he could have ‘killed’ the 5ft9in singer if had gone ‘full force.’ He also said that he has since met with a lawyer, and plans to sue the pop star.

No, Bieber, fighting is not cool and neither are your precious little asides on the matter. I know he feels like a caged animal and all, but I think he owes the fans who have shelled out money for his Purpose tour a proper explanation and not these cryptic little missives on Snapchat. Why is he punching people asking for an autograph after taking photos with fans minutes before? You can see the video of Lamont’s statement here. He’s angry; Bieber should lawyer up.

Apparently, since the scuffle, Bieber has been taking a series of “sad selfies”. Is this a ploy garner sympathy? If he wants me to feel sorry for him, he needs to stop acting like a d***. The more I read about Bieber, the more I feel he is burnt out. According to Entertainment Tonight, those around Bieber are keeping a close eye on him as there is some concern for his erratic behavior. I hope this is true because it doesn’t always seem like his “people” have his best interests at heart.

I watched the video, and it looked like, to me, that the autograph seeker used his hand to push Bieber’s face down to his shoulder really hard. Then Bieber hit him. So I think they are both in the wrong, though I do think JB needs to decide whether he wants a career in music or not. He’s self-destructing. And how many girlfriends does that guy have? That was confusing.

    • I Choose Me says:

Yeah, I kept wondering if girlfriend plural was a typo and this Lamont guy needs to chill. I think they’re both in the wrong as well.

  2. easi says:

Ok, his look is super dated, right?

  3. shewolf says:

I know its Justin Bieber but just because he’s famous that doesnt mean he HAS to sign autographs. If he says no, he says no. End of. The guy clearly provoked him.

    • MorningCoffee says:

But you can say no without saying “No autographs, motherfucker.” How about just “I’m tired and going to bed now.Sorry.”

    • Alex says:

Sure but saying no and saying no while cursing at someone is not cool at all.
JB is a tool and an entitled one at that. Dangerous combination for sure

Makeup is hiding the bruises. But what kind of loser would want Little Maple Leaf’s autograph…unless to sell it to a teen girl?

  5. Pandy says:

OK, I haven’t read the article yet, but that first picture! He’s so butch looking lolllllll. Such a bad look for him.

  6. Pandy says:

Now I’ve read the article. Can’t he just have his breakdown already? My popcorn is getting stale. 🙁

  7. Carol says:

Seems like he might be headed for a Britney-style breakdown.

    • Lauren II says:

JB cannot handle all the pressure from his Management, family, fans, media.

Britney’s meltdown was not comical. It was frightening and disheartening.

Hope Justin isn’t enroute to the same fate . Every move he makes is scrutinized and ripped apart.
Justin’s greedy parents don’t care about his mental health- which is pathetically sad.

  8. Nik says:

Isn’t it sad that touring and fans are too stressful for him? He wanted this life and should just embrace working. He seems to be majorly depressed and unstable.
