Here are some photos from the Jason Bourne premiere in Paris. When I was covering the London premiere photos, I totally forgot that Vincent Cassel’s hot ass is in this movie. I know some of you think Cassel is weird/gross/unsexy, but OMG, I would tear him up. I would eat him up for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I didn’t know that I would still find Cassel so compelling with a thick beard but… yeah. Now I can’t concentrate on anything else.
As for the fashion, Alicia Vikander wore this customized Louis Vuitton minidress. Alicia is so petite and tiny, I sometimes think big gowns and intricate, beaded dresses can overwhelm her small frame. But the other side to that is that minidresses may sometimes make her look like a doll, or like a little kid. But I enjoy this on her – it feels like a fresh silhouette on Vikander specifically, because we usually don’t see her in this kind of look. I really like that she’s been going for sparkly metallics for the premieres so far. I wonder what metallic she’ll wear for the American premiere? A sparkly bronze? Sparkly gold?
I’m also including some photos of CB’s bae Matt Damon and his wife Luciana. Um, she got bangs. She didn’t have bangs at the London premiere and now she’s got a major case of bangs trauma. So sad. Bangs Trauma is the scourge of modern society. Just say no, kids!

I don’t really “get it” with Alicia Vikander. She doesn’t do anything for me. Maybe she interviews well or something. I don’t know. That being said, she’s dating Michael Fassbender, so joke’s on me.
She was amazing in the Danish Girl. I didn’t really get her either, but now I do. She’s one of the best actresses out there under 30. Extremely talented and very natural on screen.
I thought she was so overrated in the Danish Girl. Royal Affair was the onyl movie where she was really good.
Her voice is slightly nasal and that sometimes distracts me too.
Literally anyone else could have replaced her in Danish Girl and no one would notice and the movie would still be as great, thanks to Eddie. Her acting is subpar at best.
I think amber was good too in Danish girl. it’s no joke.
I agree—she was fabulous in a Royal Affair and was easily replaceable in the Danish Girl.
I’m stymied by the Alicia detractors in re: Danish Girl. Hers was one of the most important roles of the movie – almost as important as Eddie’s – and I think she played it remarkably. It needed enormous strength as well as enormous vulnerability with the skill to show the range of extreme joys and deep lows that we associate with the artistic temperament – with a less adroit actress (and director etc.) it would come off dreadfully sugary or even cheesy. Alicia made you believe the girl felt those high-highs and low-lows and unless Hollywood is gagging with actresses capable of managing to pull off many and complex emotions simultaneously – and if so, I’ve been missing their movies – I can’t see too many “replacing” her “and noone noticing”. Meryl Streep can’t be in every movie – so thank goodness for Vikander, I say.
These comments are so far beyond ungenerous that one can only imagine sour grapes. Can’t for the life of me see why though. Even if you don’t think she’s the best actress in the world, to slag her performance as something “literally anyone” could do is mind-boggling: it’s not even subjectivity at play here …
I like the sparkly Metallic dress too….but she looks miserable. Why so glum chum?
She looks that way about 90% of the time, on RCs and in editorials even. It’s kind of annoying. Any other celeb would get ripped for it for being ungrateful.
This is why she gets away with it because of great PR and Harvey Weinstein.
Can we just stop with the Weinstein comment, it’s so sexist.

Weinstein has nothing to do with her career and her only film produced by The Weinstein Company is getting shelved. Those who insist on associating her with Weinstein are Fassbender’s crazy stans.
Case of resting sad face? Vikander just doesn’t strike me as the bubbly always-laughing California girl. She seems a bit more serious.
I know Weinstein is shady but she was in English speaking movies before meeting him and this is just a way to diminish her work.

Kaiser, I’m with you. Before I started to read the article all I did was look at the header photo, and I was like, “who the hell is that bearded God who is absolutely oozing sex appeal!?” Your eyes go right to him as soon as you see the picture. Good lord.
Then I started reading and I didn’t even need to wonder who you were talking about. Mm.
On another note: Alicia looks hot, and her hair is amaaaaazing.

I do agree Vincent (particularly in character) is a darling. That beard has to go. Alicia looks BOMB. Fantastic. I can’t figure out Matt this whole promo. He’s aged like a 10yrs for some reason lol or overtired. He mentioned someone taking over Bourne duties and maybe hes right. Even tho Tom C is still at it. I say give this over to Robert Pattinson? I don’t usually say this but I actually like this look on Alicia Vikander. She is tiny and cute. Also, she is showing off her gorgeous legs. Keep it up. As for dating Michael Fassbender, even though my heart is broken by the thought of Vikassy, it looks as though they are made for each other. It is sad for me because I am jealous but I will accept this. However, I still think she has no charisma and I still think she is a snob.
I like Luciana’s dress here. I would like it more if she wore a ton of gold jewelry I think?

Alicia is theoretically good? I want to like her. She says interesting things. She’s very pretty. She looks like shes so unhappy all the time though.

It’s not unpopular with me. She’s become one of my favorite actresses over the last couple of years. I love her mostly unfussy style in clothing and her directness in interviews. Also, I agree on Rooney Mara with you.
@BISHG me too! I’m a big fan of her style. I think she always looks very understated and classy. And her hair and makeup is always on point (the extensions r better then her short hair I think). She never dresses very loud or revealing so I know some people think that makes her look boring, but it’s more a long my line of style so I’m a fan of it! I loved all her dresses and outfits through this tour.
I can never tell if she just has very heavy/droopy eyes or if she’s just bored all of the time. For someone who seemed very keen on gaining fame she should cheer up now that she has it.
I think she looks sleepy or high but not miserable.

I was complaining about LV’s dresses yesterday, but I have to admit this one isn’t horrible. I still may not have chosen it myself, but it’s better than the other stuff they’ve put her in.

alicia always looks like she is just waking up from a bong hit or…. she looks like she just waking up from a crucial hang over…. its the down sloping half smile…and the tired not there eyes.
I know, she always looks either sleepy or bored or stoned. But the dress is great on her, gives her a nice shape and she has fantastic legs. I even like her hair here though she could really try to look more alive, at least for the photos.
