Kim Kardashian and Kanye West stir the pot constantly. While Kim claims that she wants to get along with most people, she often adopts her husband’s enemies, and Kanye has a lot of enemies, real or simply perceived. From Taylor Swift to Apple to the paparazzi, Kanye loves a good beef. But I totally didn’t remember that Kanye had sort of insulted Kate Upton several years back. The Daily Beast reminded me of it – apparently, Kanye took aim at Upton’s Vanity Fair’s cover in 2013, where she was dressed up like Marilyn Monroe. Kanye thought Kim should have been the one dressed up like Marilyn. No joke.
So Kate Upton waited for the right moment to throw some shade at the Kardashian-Wests… I guess. Kate was on Snapchat last night and she posted the above image with the message: “I look like a Kardashian, nose job and all.” Which is sort of funny for a lot of different reasons. One, she’s not wrong! I never really noticed it before, but there’s definitely some kind of resemblance between Kate Upton and Khloe Kardashian, right? Especially when Khloe is blonde, and now that Khloe is doing stuff to her face. I would say that Khloe looks more Upton-esque rather than Upton looks Kardashian-esque. Two, it’s the worst kept secret in the world that the Kardashian-Jenners love some plastic surgery. Kim, Khloe and Kylie are the worst examples of that, especially since they play fast-and-loose with the truth about their work.
So was Kate Upton really throwing shade, or was she just making a factual observation?

I am not a Kardashian apologist, in fact…far from it, but she is in no position to throw shade at anybody. First of all because it seems like lately, whomever drags a Kardashian into a conversation is just to gain some attention and second because she looks nothing like them.
Just be famous for your talent (?) without throwing shade to anybody. There is no winner here, in my eyes they all are petty losers.
Looking at the two pictures I can see some resemblance, especially the cheeks. Also, don’t think the Kardashians will take it as shade. JMO.
Yes, they both have flat, wide “apple” cheeks. Otherwise, not much of a resemblance except similar hairstyle sometimes, but they both change their hair alot.
I like over-accentuated duck lips as well. Also was she using a filter? She has anime eyes. Sorry, I don’t use Snapchat. No chatsnapping for me. I rely on the youths for certain things.
Yeah, this is for sure the “pretty filter” on Snapchat – it makes your eyes bigger and slims out your jaw and nose. It’s fascinating but also really alien looking when you put it on your own face.

Depends on how you interpret as in, ” I look beautiful, I look like a Kardashian” or “I look fake As shit, I look like a Kardashian.” The fact that it makes you think twice makes it shade.
Shade is getting overused, read Shade Court Kara Brown explains it perfectly. It’s an insult so subtle yet so brutal that you can’t respond without outing yourself. This isn’t shade. It’s just a catty remark.

Her features are well-proportioned and she has great bone structure and coloring. Khloe – not so much – not even after all the plastics.
