Octomom to get her uterus partially removed

Octomom is getting her uterus partially removed! Now I’m not trying to throw a party or anything here… I’m just saying. Some of it is coming out. Turns out, the reason Nadya couldn’t get pregnant naturally is that she has uterine fibroids. She found out before she got pregnant with the octuplets. Since then, the fibroids have grown, so she has to get a myomectomy. Depending on the specifics, enough of the uterus can be preserved so that a woman is still fertile – so this is no guarantee she won’t have more babies.

Octo-Mom Nadya Suleman will check into the hospital this weekend to have benign fibroid tumors removed from her uterus — a procedure that will make further pregnancies virtually impossible, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

Suleman will leave her eight infants and six older children in the care of her nannies, as the procedure and recovery is expected to take up to seven days.

In a brand new interview, Nadya talks about her fears as she prepares to go under the knife. “I’m terrified”, she tells us, and adds that she needs to get a will done, just as a precaution.

[From Radar]

Radar also has a video interview with Nadya (of course). She mentions that she’s scared and hasn’t gone under anesthesia in 18 years, when she had a breast reduction. One of the Radar reporters asks her if the fibroid surgery is all she’s having done, and I got the impression he was asking if she was having anything cosmetic done while she was there. Nadya didn’t seem to get what he was hinting at though and just said that was all and she’s scared to death just to do this surgery.

Nadya lies about a bunch of crap to get attention. And she tends to minimize big things, so there’s no way to know if this surgery really is happening, and if it’s really what she says. She should be out of commission for at least a week, so I guess we’ll see. I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s getting something else done either instead of or in addition to the fibroid issue. Nadya’s generally not as forthcoming with the truth as she’d like us to believe.

She sure seems remarkably comfortable in front of the camera. Like she’s talking to a good friend or something. She’s very casual and giggly. Strange, you’d almost think she wanted to be in front of the lens…

Here’s Nadya dropping her kids off at school on May 1st. Images thanks to BauerGriffinOnline.

    she is a Liar
I do think she got a uplift boob job and a tummy tuck kate gosslin got a tummy tuck and a boob job so why not octomom?
does anyone know of kate or Octomom can get pregnant again after having a litter of babies in there?

“Turns out, the reason Nadya couldn’t get pregnant naturally is that she has uterine fibroids. She found out before she got pregnant with the octuplets.”

That would make perfect sense… if she hadn’t already had IVF 5 times before the octuplets. Why didn’t she deal with the fibroids earlier? That woman is just so full of it I don’t believe a thing she says. I would be willing to bet she comes out of the surgery with a tummy tuck and probably a breast lift instead, I just pray she doesn’t add any more girth to her lips.

  3. KDRockstar says:

I am just going to sit back, pop some corn, and watch where y’all take this one.

  4. K.L. says:

I hope they take all of it for sanity’s sake.

  5. bros says:

yah i call BS on this one too. she’s going in to have some sh#t nipped and tucked and wants to set up a good excuse for being absent from her newborns so soon in the game.

and if its just a precaution, why dont you wait a few f’ing months and take care of your kids for a while and THEN get the precautionary surgery. this ho is having her stomach lipo-ed. i can almost guarantee it.

  6. barneslr says:

Agreed, K.L. This is one person who never needs to reproduce again.

  7. anastasiabeaverhausen says:

Nah, she’s getting something cosmetic done, trust.

And she had a breast reduction? Really???

I bet she’s actually getting something done to her face. Which means we won’t see her for a little bit while the bruising and swelling goes down, yay! Then she’ll look even more horrific.

And I have to get this off my chest: that wall of hair? She’s like a yeti.

  8. OXA says:

Take the whole thing just to be sure!!!

  9. the original kate says:

    she’s 14 kids too late.

  10. TaylorB says:

    Amen ‘the Original Kate’, Amen!

  11. jess says:

ok i’ll be the one to say it, that’s a bangin’ bod considered 14 people have lived in it.

  12. ChristinaT says:

she looks pretty in shape after 8 kids… she was looking pretty big right after the births… i’d bet she already had a tummy tuck… who cares anyway… :/

  13. C Dot says:

Anyone else just plain sick of her? Just the mere sight of her makes my skin crawl…I hope her tv show…er documentary tanks and no one pays any attention to her…grr! She pisses me off!

  14. tasteT says:

Whenever she says something attach some other bs on to it.

So at this point there is no telling.

Who is paying for this? its expensive.

She thinks she is a celebrity, her shirt is low cut and she has on her Jimmy Choo sunglasses..

she looks like a monster in the face
    with that hair.

  15. JN says:

Basically, it’s nobody’s business but her own what she’s having done. You people act you’re entitled to the details of her private life beyond what she chooses to provide. You’re the fools, not her.

  16. caribassett says:

    Shady

  17. The Old KC says:

Do her lips EVER move out of that expression? Can she move them at all?!

  18. DD says:

Can she disappear already? She can take that Carrie Prejib*tch with her too.

  19. Orangejulius says:

Poor psycho. I almost (I did say almost) feel sorry for her.

  20. j. ferber says:

She’ll probably try to get her cosmetic surgery covered by her medical insurance in some way, and by God, I bet they’ll pay. JN, you make a good point. I am fascinated (and repulsed) by the details of her private life, but don’t forget she’s putting her life (and her children’s lives) out there for public consumption in the first place. The icky private details of her life are now her chief source of income. So I guess for her, the ickier the better. I also think people love to judge her (myself included). So instead of being all outraged that Gloria Allred came into Nadya’s home to judge her, realize we are all bringing Nadya into our homes to judge her. It’s like a spectator sport.

  21. cherryblossom says:

JN, when she chose to sap money out of the tax payers to fuel her obsession with babies, designer clothes, and plastic surgery she lost any right to privacy.
The money she’ll be using is essentially ours, so of course we care what’s happening to it!

  22. MB Travis says:

Seriously, Jaybird? Clapping your little hands in glee over someone’s uterine fibroids? I mean, I agree that she’s horrible, but you’re not doing yourself any favors with this kind of snark. Ick.

  23. Trashaddict says:

Hope surged when I saw the picture header: only to be dashed to pieces when I read the story and realized she might still be fertile. Sigh.

  24. YoMomma says:

Yes! There is a GOD. I have to admit she sure has lost her baby fat fast. What is her secret?

  25. Dromedary says:

Ugh… a myomectomy only removes the fibroids, not the uterus. Once the fibroids are gone, it’ll just make implantation of her remaining gazillion plus frozen embryos easier.

And… really? No anesthesia for 18 years? That’s some painful plastic surgery you had there, o-mom.

  26. Mairead says:

JN, to be fair she’s divulging a hell of a lot more information (that 90% of us would rather not know) quite freely.

Anyway, back to raising of eyebrows:
She had a breast reduction at 15 – really? Dammit, now I’m going to have to actually visit Radar to see if it’s a typo and an op at 18 is what they meant.
(although, if she was stripping for an hour/night/week/year at that age, wouldn’t her pre-op “assets” be exactly what she needed?)

  27. Ursula says:

18 years ago? She was what 15? What was she doing having surgery?

She looks good for a woman who just had 8 children.

  28. stacey says:

Dont let that woman lie to you its a creative way to cover up a tummy tuck

  29. bagladey says:

Octomom hasn’t been under anaesthesia for 18 years, so she had a breast reduction at 14 years old before her breasts had stopped growing and her nose job was done with local anesthetic?
This woman just will not stop lying about EVERYTHING.

  30. bagladey says:

I agree with stacey @ 1:41 p.m. that this (obviously old)fibroid issue is a cover-up for a tummy tuck. It should be grounds for investigation by Social Services: That a mother of 14 very young children would opt to have general anaestesia (with which there is always risk involved)for the purpose of elective, cosmetic surgery. Anyone remember what recently happened to Usher’s wife when she attempted to have a tummy tuck soon after giving birth (to ONE child)?

  31. Gigohead says:

I think she’s going in for elective surgery. The reason I heard she could not get preggo to begin with is that she had her tubes clogged up. She is such a liar.

She is so vain. She’s like Usher’s wife who underwent a tummy tuck weeks after giving birth and almost died. These vain ladies have me sick to my stomach.

  32. CB Rawks says:

Bury that thing in the salt flats of Utah so it can never rise again.
    Like in that Warlock movie.

  33. mE says:

But bullshit. I’d bet my right eye she had anesthesia when she has the octuplets. She probably also had it when all those embryos were transfered. Granted it was probably a spinal or epidural but it was still anesthesia. She also stood a huge chance of something going wrong and having to be put all the way under anesthesia during her pregnancy.

It looks like she has one hell of a heavy duty corset/girdle thing going on under her clothes after having had so many babies so recently or she has also had a tummy tuck. That skin doesn’t just spring back like it seems to have for her. Especially since all 14 of her children are quite young.

  34. tasteT says:

After her surgery she’ll wear belly tops cause she is probably getting skin removed and tightened.

all of the other mothers that have hd multiple births have huge sagging skin..

but she just bounced back huh??

she lies ALL the time..to be in her crazy fantasy world.

or does she think America is crazy? to beleive her lies

  35. tasteT says:

    @JN,

Its our business as long as she runs her mouth trying to make it NEWS!

stay off the television and out of the news then we could not comment.

but that would stop her flow of moo-lah

Save the bleeding heart stuff, we are in a recession and no one is taking her stunt lightly!

  36. Chicamorena says:

She should have done this thirteen babies ago.

  37. Pardo says:

A myomectomy does not make women sterile. It helps a woman with fertility problems carry a pregnancy. Check your facts. It amazes me that everything this liar says is accepted by the media as truth. Do so-called journalists ever hear of fact-checking???? Her story is a cover up for more cosmetic surgery. It’s tummy tuck time, and guess who’s paying for it!

  38. the original kate says:

“Bury that thing in the salt flats of Utah so it can never rise again.
    Like in that Warlock movie.”

CB – this comment made me spurt lemonade out of my nose! LMAO!

  39. Magsy says:

Didn’t she already do that with part of her brain?

  40. Thhbbb! says:

    Yes, this is bullshit.

First of all, uterine fibroids are benign. There is no need to run the risks of surgical removal, unless the woman is looking to carry a pregnancy to term. (Gawd, I hope that is not the case here.)

Secondly, fibroids would not be the reason she needed IVF. Women with fibroids can and do conceive. Fibroids may, however, cause an interuption in the pregnancy. But she carried all of her IVF pregnancies to term. (So it aint fibroids.)

I have uterine fibroids. It is impossible to find a surgeon to agree on a myomectomy (removal of fibroids only) rather than a hysterectomy (removal of uterus) when the woman is not planning on more children. The reason for this is myomectomies are more difficult, more lengthy, and less safe than a “quick and easy” hysterectomy. They do not even recommend surgery for fibroids at all, unless there is another factor affecting the woman’s well being (pain, heavy bleeding, or as stated above, another desired pregnancy) in which case Suleman and her Drs. would have had a clue long ago. Uterine fibroids are very common and this would have been easy to rule out.

She is getting her loose, flabby, crinkled, “mommy tummy” tucked….and who knows what else.

  41. I’ve thought quite a bit about this subject since I’ve started to read blogs which relatively speaking is not all that long a time. I recognize your insights and experiences here. They are very candid and it would be onerous to search out this data elsewhere.

  42. Hello, i think that i saw you visited my site so i came to “return the favor”.I’m attempting to find things to enhance my web site!I suppose its ok to use some of your ideas!!

  43. Like the put up, it’s preferrred to concede someone seeing impatient about one’s voice besides practice owing to I’m!

  44. Undeniably believe that which you said. Your favorite justification seemed to be on the net the simplest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I certainly get annoyed while people think about worries that they just do not know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and also defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people could take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thanks
