Can I just say? I’m really enjoying the consistency of reporting around Rihanna and Drake. The public personas are already well-known: Rihanna has been cast as the vampy man-eater and Drake has been cast as sensitive soul, the Nice Guy trying to win his dream girl. But sources have been saying for months now that Drake and Rihanna are a thing. Not super-official “DATING,” but hooking up with regularity. And then Drake was cast as Rihanna’s beck-and-call boy, the one who would drop everything to run to her side at a moment’s notice. And now? How do we define Rihanna and Drake post-VMAs?
Looks like Drake’s long game has paid off. After years of teasing fans about their close relationship, Drake and Rihanna are “definitely a couple,” a source close to Rihanna tells ET.
“They are fully dating,” the source says. “No one really knows how long they have been ‘official’ — they just decided to let it become a thing instead of hiding it from everyone. They’re happy.”
The pair flew to Miami, Florida, on Monday night, the source adds, where Drake has scheduled shows at the AmericanAirlines Arena on Tuesday and Wednesday night as part of his Summer Sixteen Tour.
Drake, 29, and Rihanna, 28, have definitely been spending plenty of quality time together recently. On Monday night, prior to their flight, the superstars stepped out for a dinner date at Nobu in New York City. An eyewitness tells ET that Rihanna stayed at Drake’s hotel overnight on Sunday after winning the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Oh, now she’s traveling to his gigs? That is a big change. It feels like he mostly travels to see her. The idea that Rihanna is spending her down-time tagging along with Drake as his official girlfriend is interesting. I still think she’s a mercurial spirit, and if Drake is trying to “wife” her, she’ll likely go running for the hills. But maybe Drake knows that. Maybe he’s totally fine with whatever Rihanna is willing to give him. As ET says, his long game is paying off. LOL.

I know right. Rihanna doesn’t talk about relationships unless it’s after the fact (CB and Matt Kemp) or about CB which was such an important relationship for her. But Drake has spilled so much tea about their dramatic on-off relationship. They for sure dated and hooked up for almost a decade and the proof is in his lyrics. I mean, black blogs know what’s up.
As if any man would make that much trouble about a woman who truly didn’t want him before. Rihanna did travel for him a lot so it was a two-way street of attraction. It’s the proper public relationship part where they differ but Rihanna always had a thing for him.
What will be interesting is the reaction of his harem and if Drake is truly going to commit as I always thought he liked the idea of getting with Rihanna. The chase and the excitement of staying off the radar and letting the media guess. Now the ‘boring’ part comes: making it work when the cat is out of the bag.

Basically he has girls in cities and gives them designer stuff after the hook-up. Whatever his relationship status was, the girls were always in his life and they aren’t shy to drop hints of being in his harem on social media.

Facinating how too people who think they’re oh so edgy can be so boring and annoying at the same time. Now that they’re finally together I hope the media shuts up about them until they break up, which will probably be more interesting than this snoozefest.
One thing they have in common though – both have incredibly annoying voices. Especially Drake.
In the past they have broken up very classy low key and remain friends. I think it’ll be the same if it doesn’t work out this time.

well I like them together, always have… I hate to be that person but I’m sure she felt relieved not dealing with the mess that is Chris Brown, especially yesterday. I saw videos of her in the audience singing and dancing along at drake’s show last night and I’m happy for them, whatever their title might be
