Cameron Diaz and Nicole Richie are close and are married to twin brothers Benji and Joel Madden. They’re sisters in law and they hang out often, judging by the paparazzi pics. I’ve seen Cameron Diaz out with Gwyneth Paltrow but I didn’t think that Goop was part of Cameron’s squad, like say Drew Barrymore. They just don’t seem that close, but you never can tell with these Hollywood types. People reports that Cameron Diaz celebrated her 44th birthday this Tuesday with a cooking class at the New School of Cooking, attended by Nicole, their husbands, and Gwyneth Paltrow and her boyfriend, Brad Falchuck. Apparently they were baking, which begs the question: was it gluten free?
Instead of being treated to a fancy dinner, Cameron Diaz celebrated her 44th birthday by cooking it herself with her celebrity pals and family in tow.
The actress was spotted baking up a storm at the New School of Cooking in Culver City, California on Tuesday, along with hubby Benji Madden, his brother Joel and wife Nicole Richie, and close friend Gwyneth Paltrow and her boyfriend, producer Brad Falchuk.
Diaz, who is not new to getting her hands dirty in the kitchen, has previously cooked with Reese Witherspoon and bestie Drew Barrymore in 2014, attending a pasta-making class at the Culinary Institute of America in Napa, California.
Diaz and Madden have also taken on the bold task of cooking for Paltrow before [last year].
I would ask where Drew Barrymore was, but Goop posted this picture with Cameron and Drew so either this photo is an older one or Drew was there.
Drew and Cameron also went hiking with their dogs this weekend. I love this photo for some reason, and I don’t even like hiking I just love dogs. Moar dogs.
Drew also posted a video of herself dancing in what looks like an incredible Zumba-like class. Dancing is my favorite exercise hands down but I digress. I’m thinking that video was older because she also posted a photo of herself at hot yoga that same day, but who knows. It’s so much fun to creep celebrity Instagram accounts.
Getting back to Cameron, her husband of about a year and a half, Benji Madden, wrote her a sweet message on Instagram for her birthday in which he gushed about her and called himself lucky.
That warmed my cynical heart. These two say such nice things about each other. They can seem a bit extra at times, but it’s cute to see. Happy Birthday Cameron! It just gets better from here, right?
I don’t know if I’m getting soft but these pics made me smile. Cam has the most amazing eyes and I loved the pic of her with her dogs. Goop is…still Goop. But the 90s girl in me loves seeing pics of these three together.
Separately, Drew and Cameron can really bug me. But I LOVE their decades long friendship. It’s so genuine and not what you typically see from Hollywood. I’ve never been under the impression there’s an agenda there, just live and support.

I dig the close up of Cameron – a very beautiful woman who isn’t screwing around with her face and doesn’t seem to be freaking out about a few wrinkles.

This compared with Courtney cox….I don’t mean this as a dig either. I am 44 and I look 44. Obviously these three look better than I ever could, but I sure do not look like Cox. And I like Courtney and think she’s a good comedic actress and don’t like dumping on her. But these three are getting tweeks, they have to be, just subtle ones. I get small amounts of Botox myself. I have occasionally gotten filler. I bet they have too. But these three look really beautiful becacause of good genes , like Cox has, and good surgeons, Like Cox did not have. Makes me sad, because Courney should be aging like this and instead she’s stuck with a mess.

I agree. I’m about to turn 50-and there are several moms at my son’s elementary school that are my age, but are completely botoxing and filler-ing, and it looks weird. Of course I still would love to look how I did in my late 30s-but those days are gone. I’d rather look happy and wrinkley and feel confident in my own skin.
Cameron has had work done, but since she stepped away from acting she she to have back off a lot.
She does look good. A smidge Lauren Huttonish around the eyes.

Leaving the snark out (mostly), because I like everyone but GOOP. Why does GOOP a/k/a Martha Stewart, Jr., need a cooking class…isn’t she the epitome of everything that is perfection.

On different note, I find her face a bit weird, because she obviously botoxes her forehead, but her eye-wrinkles are in full force. Do both or nothing (rather nothing), cause it looks odd to me.
I totally see wrinkles on her forehead. Look closer-they’re there-just under some makeup.
She looks really good. I think her husband is very good for her. Makes her feel secure and pretty and loved. He seems like a good guy. Despite how he looks, I think he’s a romantic, the type of guy that tells her she looks beautiful and makes her feel fine just the way she is. So glad she found him, those other guys she dated just seemed like they were the type to make a girl feel insecure, like she’s never good enough. Cameron always seemed like a nice, cool chick to me. Glad she found a good man.
Oh, and idk so many women go blond. Don’t get mad if you’re a blond please! I just feel like if you are fair complexion, blonde can really wash you out. A darker blonde or light brown is much better, IMO. Drew looked fabulous as a redhead, too.

i would love to be friends with cameron diaz! she seems so loyal and fun and genuinely chill.
say what you will about goop but she seems to have some very long friendships that seem rock solid. my best friend is goop-ish. she can be a know it all and a snob and a type A control freak but you know what? she is the best friend i’ve ever had. ride or die. knows how to have fun. is a great people connector. she just is annoying when ordering at restaurants 🙂 i get the sense that goop is similar. can she be insufferable at times? yes. does that make her a bad friend? not necessarily.
I’ve always thought that goop and Diaz were pretty good friends. I have seen plenty of pictures of them together. I remember about the time when Timberlake was getting married, there were a lot if pics of Diaz with Goop and it was suggested that this was a difficult time for her and G was being extra supportive. I also recall Diaz speaking out on Gs behalf when all the ‘conscious uncoupling’ stuff was in the press.
Isn’t Dame Gwyneth assumed to be the lady Cameron was referring to on Graham Norton? The one whose ‘bush’ needed an intervention? I think bush sightings are a sign of a pretty close relationship, lol
Dancing is my favorite exercise too. If you come to San Francisco, try Rhythm & Motion’s classes at ODC studios–amazingly great workout to all kinds of music, silly/not serious, and super fun. And a fun community atmosphere.
