I used to call Khloe Kardashian a “sad doll.” For a while there, Khloe just looked so plastic, so fake and so depressed that Sad Doll Kardashian really fit. But the new Sad Doll is obviously Kylie Jenner. I can’t believe how sad this 19-year-old young woman is. Kylie covers the latest issue of Complex and these photos are just the worst. She looks like the brunette version of that Human Barbie woman. As for the interview, there’s no real reason for it. I mean, she’s not really promoting anything (Lip Kits don’t count). She just talks about how much she lied about her lip injections. And she talks about her creepy relationship with Tyga. So gross. Some highlights:
Going topless on the Complex cover: “I’m comfortable with my body, but not that comfortable. I’m not going to be walking around like that with a bunch of guys there.”
Living with herself: “At the end of the day I have to live with everything I do. I’m just proud of myself for not going crazy. Tyga helped me with that a lot.”
When she first got together with Tyga: “The first year we started hanging out, everyone around him told him not to be with me. I still get comments like, ‘Don’t be with him.’ But we’re not doing it for the public—we love each other. We need to be together at all times. We never get mad at each other, we just figure things out.”
They did take a two-month break this year: “I just needed to see what it was like not being with him. We realized that wasn’t what we wanted.”
Why she got lip injections: “It has been an insecurity of mine all my life…[In middle school] this guy I kissed was like, ‘Your lips are really small but you’re a really good kisser. I didn’t think you were gonna be good at kissing.’ It was so rude. From then on, I just felt like I saw guys staring at my lips. I felt like no one wanted to kiss me.”
Why she lied about the lip injections: “I wasn’t even 17 yet. What if I came out and said, ‘Oh, yeah, I got my lips done’? What are all those moms going to think about me? These kids, my fans, they’re going to think I’m crazy. I didn’t want to be a bad influence. I didn’t want people to think you had to get your lips done to feel good about yourself. But they thought it was crazier that I was lying about it because it was so obvious. I wish I had just been honest and upfront.”
She went overboard with the lip injections in the beginning: “When you first get them done, you’re like, ‘Oh, it could be a little bit bigger on that side.’ I’d go back and be like, ‘They went down’ and think they could be bigger. But I went too far. It was very painful.”
She insists that she’s only getting her lips done & nothing else: “It’s annoying to hear every day that you’re just this fake, plastic person when you’re not. Every single day there was a news story about me.”
I would love for a professional psychiatrist to do an analysis of what’s really going on between Kylie and Tyga. Because it feels like the description of an episode of Law & Order: SVU. Like, Kylie was just 15 or 16 years old when Tyga started showing an interest. He was with Blac Chyna and they had a child together. People were telling Tyga to not to be with Kylie because A) Kylie was underage and B) he was with Blac Chyna. But to Kylie – who sounds like a groomed victim – it’s all some sort of inspirational fairy tale about true love winning out despite all of the (COMPLETELY JUSTIFIED) criticism.
As for her explanation as to why she lied her plastic face off about the lip injections… God, this Sad Doll is so dumb. She’s also still lying about the other stuff she’s had done.

If you are comfortable with and in your body, you do not alter it. And you certainly do not alter it at 16 for sexual reasons.
I feel really sorry for her. She has been exploited by her family and groomed by her predator boyfriend.
I think most people are uncomfortable with their body at 16, which is why it is good to have parents preventing plastic surgery at that age.
When I was 16, I was so ashamed of my body. I constantly criticized and scrutinized it and thought I was obsese. Looking back now at pictures of me then, I can’t believe how good I looked! I’d give anything to have that body! And that’s exactly why no one should be having plastic surgery at 16 or 17 or any teen age! You do not have a clear self concept at that age and should not be able to make surgical, permanent alterations!
I don’t really agree. I’m comfortable with my body but if I could afford implants I think I would get them cause I wish my boobs weren’t as saggy but doesn’t mean I’m not comfortable.
That’s why she said “most” and not “all”.
I can’t imagine that kissing lips puffed up by plastic is a real turn-on. Tyga is repellant inside and out.
This is all on her mom who was anything but a mom and get sisters, Khloe who said it was OK @ 16 to date older men cause she did it too. She said how she hates posting n how she feels weird about her body yet the underwear pic came up and more daily. There’s kids who follow her and all this family promotes is sexuality,egotistical behavior and stupidity.
Yea not a full fledged counselor yet but you could definitely make the case that Kylie was groomed. The fact that two months away from Tyga was painful for her is a red flag. Remember she was traveling internationally with him sans parents at 16. He got to her early. It’s terrible because he does absolutely nothing
Who wouldn’t have a hard time emotionally after separating from someone they have been in a relationship with for years?
Not opposing anything you said, because obvs. she was way to young, but out of curiosity: why do you consider it to be a red flag if people hurt from being separate for 2m? If you really love somebody (maybe she really does, in her cute twisted brain) then this would be the normal reaction, non? Although I would go back to my sweetheart after a couple of weeks, not 2 months, if I really miss him. Or sooner.
She was an example of a young insecure kid with money to me, I think at that age everyone is insecure about something. Lips, face, body ect… I get that, but at 16 you’re not even fully developed, your body is still going to change. (grew into her lips??)

Absolutely! If I’d had tonnes of money at 16, I would’ve had a nose job, boob job and the fat sucked out of my cheeks to give more definition. Now I couldn’t care less about these minor imperfections. So sad that she clearly had no one to guide her at such a crucial age, her parents allowed her to alter her still-developing body and be groomed by an older man and NOBODY batted an eyelid. To me that’s emotional neglect.

I don’t know…I think everyone has good and bad days in terms of self-perception. But not all of us rush out the surgeon’s office for a fix, we just work through our feelings and learn to love ourselves.
It’s sad that she has so little self-acceptance.
Everybody has insecurities and you learn to grow more comfortable. I don’t have a problem with her getting plastic surgery, just the age at which she received it. Her entire appearance changed by the time she was 18. This means she had parents that didn’t say “No. You’re beautiful the way you are/just wait.”
Also, I’d like to say that for me, it’s not that she wanted fuller lips, she wanted someone else’s lips.
Audrina Patridge (from The Hills reality TV showw) is an AMAZING example of lip injections that are not only well done, but make sense. I think it was a good call. It’s because she wanted fuller lips, but still wanted to look like HERSELF.
ETA: In terms of face, I think Audrina may have had some other work done, however, it seems to be a good example (so far) of enhancements, rather than going for perfection or looking like somoene else.

I dislike everyone in this family so much, but I do feel bad for Kylie. At 15/16, she’s not old enough to realize that boys not wanting to kiss is not a good enough reason to get plastic surgery. That’s a parents job. At 15/16, you also don’t have the mindset to realize a man in his 20’s should not be dating you. That’s a parents job. She’s like this because she had no parental guidance. Kendall is just as lost, but was able to get work because she’s naturally tall and thin, so she got a bit more attention from kris. So yeah, I do feel pity for her.

How heartbreaking. I want to take this girl under my wing and teach her about self-love and self-care and self-reliance. How crazy to be so famous and have NO sense of SELF. Really it reveals how awful her parents are.

Its really crazy how much her look has changed – literally her entire face is different except for her eyes – which are really beautiful I must admit. Sad thing is, I dont think she would have half the following she has now if she didnt change the way she looked. I just feel awful for her. People make fun of her and Khloe for getting plastic surgery, but I think everyone’s forgotten just how much the media and commenters on the internet tore into both their pre-surgery looks. They were always the ugly sisters. Kylie wasn’t even a teenager when people started in on her, and her thin lips were always the focus. Then they change the things people mocked, and they get mocked for that. There was no winning for them. Ridiculed for not being naturally beautiful, ridiculed for trying to be beautiful.

Youtube is full of girls with crazy, injected lips all talking about the work they had done, and they have millions upon millions of mostly young followers. Most of them look absolutely awful but it doesn’t matter — the message that lip fillers are awesome and necessary is what is being transmitted to these young viewers.

And she was prime for grooming: young, insecure, her father going through transition, her mother paying attention to her moneymakers… she was ripe for some older guy to swoop in and “save her” from her life and give her the attention and “love” she needed. Except not. Because these men only want what you can offer and they want it on their terms, not yours. And there’s a shelf-life to your usefulness. I would imagine Tyga probably encouraged her to change her face and her body. And then her mother discovered that this changed daughter could also make money for the family. So she really has been controlled by older figures, only she can’t see it.

Are you talking about Courtney Stodden? That one creeps me out more because her mother sold her to a 51 year old man when she was 16 (they got married). Kylie has talked about wanting a quiet life away from the spotlight and yet she does nothing about it. She has all the money in the world to disappear or at least minimize the amount of time she is in the media – including social media. She doesn’t want to be out of the limelight.

Sometimes money is the worst thing to happen to a person.
When my daughter was 16, she wanted all kinds of things altered on her body, because that’s the message she got from society. She wanted breast implants, she wanted lip injections, she had cute chipmunk cheeks and wanted the fat sucked from them. She EVEN wanted plastic surgery on her vulva. I agreed to take her to my gynecologist to see what SHE thought in terms of surgery, and she told my daughter straight up she had a totally normal vulva that did not–absolutely did not–need any tampering with.
Now she’s 22, and thanks me all the time that I said no to all that. We didn’t have the money for it anyway, but even if we had, I would have said no. That’s way to young to be tampering with your body.
She now has very proportionate breasts, her cheeks have lost all their baby fat (she would look downright skeletal now if she had gotten the fat sucked out back then!), she’s very happy with her very normal lips, and she’s read up on vaginoplasty and how it ends up cutting nerve endings, and she’s VERY glad that was never on the table!
I feel sorry for this kid. She never had a chance in the world in this family. She’s got no education to speak of, either.

This family is everything wrong with society to me. Shallow, vapid, materialistic, no morals, worship money & fame above all.
The other reason she lied her plastic face off about lip injections at 16 is because she was underage and would have needed a parent, you know it’s Kris, to sign off on it. Kris should be charged with child abuse. What sicko parent allows their child do get lip injections at 16? The kind who causes their child’s insecurities in the first place.
I feel bad for her. 🙁 How many of us have insecurities as a teenager that we eventually wound up growing out of? Imagine if we all had the money/ability to go around changing things about ourselves before we could even learn the extent of what the consequences are. I’d bet that there would be soo many people who would regret the decisions they made.
The thing that gets my goat the most is that she was actually really pretty even before her lip injections. Like, I’ve seen before and after pics, and she has a gorgeous, open face and really nice eyes. Of course there’s imperfections, but everyone has those, you can’t exactly escape that stuff. She should have had parents who were gentle and kind with her insecurities, who took the time to cultivate a proper sense of worth beyond her looks. Instead she gets stuck with actual troglodyte Kris Jenner. It’s so sad and frustrating.
Who knew 15 year old boys are so picky about what kind of lips they’re kissing?!?!! All the ones I’ve ever known are just happy to have ANY kissing at all!!!
