For the most part, I feel like we treat Jenna Dewan as an extension of her husband Channing Tatum, like she’s Rita Wilson to his Tom Hanks. That’s unfair to Jenna (and to Rita). Jenna is an accomplished dancer and actress in her own right, and beyond that, she seems like a really cool person. I’ve always thought that Jenna made Channing into the man he is today too – she helped him plot his Hollywood course, she encouraged his charity work, she broadened his horizons and opened up his life significantly. Anyway, Jenna covers the January issue of Cosmopolitan and the interview excerpts are charming. She talks about her sex life with Channing! Yay!
On when she told Tatum he probably wasn’t ready to jump into another relationship and would see him on set: “It was two nights of being weird. We hadn’t even kissed. And then he went out partying with a bunch of dancers. His room was right above mine, and he came down drunk with a sombrero on, banging on my door. He was like,“I couldn’t stop thinking about you. Let’s do this. I just want to be with you.” From that point forward, we were together.”
On her and Tatum’s sex life: “…I’ve always been a very sexual person. We definitely have a very happy and healthy [sex life]. Something about being a dancer connects you to your physical body. It’s primal, earthy, sexual energy by nature. You feel your body in a certain way. Channing is very much the same way. He’s very in tune with that.”
On being a Reiki healer: “I like to play around. I’ll do it with Evie when she’s getting overwhelmed. She thinks it’s so funny. It’s an ancient healing modality from Japan where you tap into a conscious energy conflict. Chan loves it. He gets all the nice side effects of having a hippie wife.”
I didn’t realize that their daughter Everly’s nickname is “Evie.” That’s cute. But I bet people always think her name is Evelyn or Eve. As for Channing and Jenna’s sex life… yes, let me imagine it. Because I bet it’s really, really hot. Please let me believe in this love story. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of Channing acting shady or fooling around either – I want to believe that he fell for Jenna and hasn’t looked at another woman since. I want to believe that Jenna and Channing will have a smoking sex life for years and decades to come. Please give me that!

Editing to add: it’s those awesome couples that often are having issues behind closed doors, though. Used to think the same about brad and Angie. And i feel like i might have read a Chan and Jenna blind last week or something. (And read that Tourmaline said exactly that already, right below lol. Oops)
Well according to many blind gossip items, both members of this couple doth protest too much when discussing their awesome marriage. There was one just in the last week or so about him cheating on her while filming in Georgia.
But blinds are not reliable. According to the blinds, Jenna should have given birth to Ryan Higa’s baby by now. 😒
People who talk about their sex life in magazines always strike me as a little weird.
I don’t doubt her story — I just think she’s odd for sharing it. Although I guess what she said will make headlines…so maybe she’s smart from a PR perspective in that regard.

It’s cosmopolitan. Not exactly a ‘sexuality must never be discussed publicly’ type of magazine. Even if it wasn’t though, she didn’t go into specifics about the things they do together.
Some celebs manage to get out of interviews without talking about how they’re like sexually, even to Cosmopolitan. I think the ones that do are the under the false impression that the general population thinks about their sex lives.
I think I probably assumed they had a normal healthy marriage (I guess I had no reason to assume otherwise?)…and beyond that my thoughts never travelled anywhere else.

I think he probably adores her even if he can’t be faithful to her (and maybe he is faithful but you know, Hollywood). Amanda Seigwhatever commented one time that he was so in love with his wife and it was a really attractive quality about him. I know I shouldn’t like him because he is a frat bro, but I do. I think he is adorable and she is sexy as hell. Her lip sync battle was my favorite. I bet they do have great chemistry.

I always wonder about all those infidelity rumors around celebs – like, could so many really be unfaithful so often? It just feels like a lot. I am under the impression that people have way less sex than is widely understood and while many are indeed in unhappy relationships, most don’t cheat (not necessarily out of virtue but also out of lack of possibility and/or laziness)
I think actors are in an industry which facilitates infidelity in a much easier way than being in an industry where you don’t meet people as much. They do screen tests for chemistry and what not among attractive people. That makes it easier to hook-up. I can believe a lot of them cheat (though not necessarily Tatum), if only because so many of them admit to doing it in some way, either explicitly in interviews or implicitly through the paparazzi (i.e Kristen Stewart, Amanda Siegfried, Stanley Tucci, Ben Affleck, Claire Danes, etc. ) I probably wouldn’t have remembered Claire Danes cheated with Billy Crudup if she didn’t bring up her “pain” in interviews.

It is ridiculous….they ALWAYS “will and jada” overshare in each and every interview…and it DOES get old…I don’t really want to know. But I think it’s because they’re both so dang stinkin’ attractive and the occupation of a dancer is SUCH a sexual and sensual one…we all are thinking about it. I just would never ask….I would just maybe imagine…maybe for just a minute.
I just get sick of hearing about how sex-i-fied they are together…We get it, y’all! you’re both extremely good looking, in shape, hot for each other, and insatiable! That’s really great.
