Pink posts a makeup-free selfie with Baby Jameson and we all win

Pink and Sia collaborated recently with Norwegian Production team, Stargate, for the new song Waterfall. I don’t think I have ever not liked a Pink song but I don’t always get hooked on them straight out of the gate. Some have to grow on me. Waterfall seems to be in this category. My daughter and I were somewhat nonplussed the first time we heard it. But I listened to it a second time for this post and I am already starting to warm to it. The vocals are beautiful. The song is getting mad love, though, which makes me happy because I always want Pink and Sia to succeed. I like them both as people so much. To celebrate the success of the song, Pink gave us this:

Oh my gawd – I could waste so much time staring at little baby Jameson! Look at that puckish smile. He looks like he’s plotting something, doesn’t he? Like he’s just figured out the funniest place to hide his smushed peas. Jameson is only three months old – I don’t think babies start eating solid food that early.

Pink’s always been a powerful advocate for many causes. Her Twitter is a little more political than her Instagram, but she finds ways to incorporate both when she can. She posted this pic of Willow and husband Carey Hart in honor of International Women’s Day:

Pink, who was thrilled to lose her Grammy to none other than Dolly Parton, was nominated for an American Country Music Award for her Kenny Chesney duet Setting the World on Fire. Remember when I said there isn’t a Pink song I don’t like? This one comes close. Although, I do generally leave it on the radio when it plays. Pink will also appear at Virgin’s VFestival in August so she is slowly getting back out there.

For the most part, of course, she has been laying low, hanging out with her newborn and daughter. There are rumors that she might be making a move to Australia. Her good friends Ellen DeGeneres and Portia DiRossi talked up Victoria so much that Pink is checking out real estate. Adding to the appeal is that Pink is apparently huge in Australia, which, now that I hear it, makes perfect sense to me. Pink can record anywhere and I think Carey is mostly retired – why not move to Australia?

Anyway, it’s Monday. Let’s kick this week off with more cute kid pics, shall we?

That shot of her & Jameson is beyond adorable! Love it Love it Love it. Willow is a little cutie, too (Corey’s not too bad himself 😉). Beautiful family.

Happy family. Pink has it going on.

  5. Digital Unicorn (aka Betti) says:

Love Pink – but Jameson steals it. In that pic he’s probably thinking ‘Hmm, maybe now would be a good time to fill my nappy with a stinky surprise’. LOL

  6. Nicole says:

This is such a beautiful family. I remember when she and Corey broke up and I was gutted because they are a good one. So glad that they worked it out and seem even happier than ever.

They also make some cute kids. Willow is adorable (and clearly a proud big sis) and Jameson is just so cute I cannot deal.

  7. TQB says:

<3 <3 <3 her so much. So many people want you to believe they DGAF. Pink turns out to have been 100% sincere about it.

  8. AnnaKist says:

Jameson is too, too delicious! Willow is such a cutie. They sure make beautiful children. Pink looks fantastic without makeup.

I hope she does move here to Australia. The world is a shambles in so many ways, but we still have a pretty great country – excellent living conditions, great climate, very peaceful compared to many other places. Sure, housing has become very expensive, and we do have poverty and homelessness, which many people are involved in trying to reduce or end. Everyone who needs welfare receives it. We have the same problems as many other developed countries, but all in all, it’s a great place to live and raise a family.

She’s incredibly popular here, and when she did a long tour a few years ago, she made herself available for tons of TV interviews, and was always so entertaining and likeable. Victoria is beautiful, as are so many other places.

I’m not sure why she’d pick Victoria though of all places. I guess it depends where but all the nicest spots have pretty horrendous weather. Plus, you know, Victorians.

      • rapomi says:

And where are you from exactly Ange? And really, horrendous weather? Really?

      • Ange says:

I’m from right near the Vic border if you must know, the only one in my family NOT born/raised in Vic because they were sick to death of it by the time I came along. And yes, the weather is freezing in winter and boiling in summer, yuck.

  9. Betsy says:

I don’t like her music at all, but I like her.

And close: you can start solids at four months!

  10. Lindy says:

  12. Maraidh says:

I love everything about Pink. She seems so real and raw. Cutest babies!

  13. Cinderella says:

She seems like a darn good mama. So glad she and Carey weathered whatever it was long ago. She continues to be an incredibly talented singer, too. And looks great with no makeup AND short hair. No fair!

    Awwwww! Sweetness
