This film! I don’t know if it’s intentional, but I got a strong undertone of feminism in it. Women being told to stay quiet, be sweet, don’t hurt other people’s feelings, even when we’re being murdered or grieving a child. I am not sure if that’s intentional but I love it.

It states that there are actually FEWER young women missing this year than last year. It’s only because the new police commander decided to use Twitter that the general public even knows about these cases.
“Metro Police Department (MPD) has always shared some missing persons on social media, but early this year the new police commander decided to use Twitter for every critical case. ”
So this has been going on for ages, these young women going missing for whatever reason and very few people even knew or cared. It breaks my heart just hearing that, I’m so glad that the new police commander is shining a light on these missing girls.

Why is the Metro Police Department (MPD) sharing this information with them, if this is just a misunderstanding? Wouldn’t the police department be interested in calming down their own citizens by publishing this story in the Washington Post for example?
