Jennifer Aniston is ‘very comfortable where she is,’ she’s ‘really enjoying life’

Leonardo DiCaprio hangs out with girlfriend Camila Morrone in the West Village

Jennifer Aniston has had a pretty quiet year, despite the fact that she and Justin Theroux announced their split shortly after her 49th birthday in February. In the olden days of tabloid gossip, their split would have dominated headlines for months, and we would know the truth about their fake marriage and their fake divorce. But Jennifer and Justin have both managed to avoid any direct questions about all of that for much of the year. So imagine my surprise when I saw this Us Weekly cover, which, despite its promises, does not feature a new interview with Jen. Why now? It took me a second to figure it out – Jennifer has Dumplin’ coming out on Netflix in a few weeks, so that’s why she magically got this Us Weekly cover.

Better off. Jennifer Aniston is “very comfortable where she is” after her divorce from Justin Theroux, a source exclusively reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly.

“She’s doing her thing exactly the way she wants to do it and really enjoying life,” the insider explains, noting that the Friends alum “believes that whatever her path is, it will present itself the way it should.”

[From Us Weekly]

I don’t doubt that Jennifer has found some kind of peace. I think she’s been at peace for years now, even when her thing with Justin was falling apart. It’s like she finally got comfortable in her own skin, and just embraced the fact that she’s a creature of habit who prefers mansions, private chefs, and hanging with her dogs. I’m also glad that everyone (Jen included) has stopped pushing the poor, sad-sack Jen image. As for the cover’s promise of some kind of story about Jen being in therapy – she’s been in therapy for years, ever since the ‘90s.

The only thing I have to nitpick here is that Jennifer is post “divorce.” I wonder if the Dumplin’ promotional tour will feature any direct questions about why Jen and Justin faked their marriage?

She looks good in these photos, living in a mansion with a few dog pals for company doesn’t sound like a bad life at all.

    • French girl says:

I just hope she has some good sex friends

    • DiegoInSF says:

Agreed! Love dogs and would love to live in a mansion. I aspire to nothing more lol well, maybe unlimited funds to shop all day! She does look good, not very worked on. Also, I know people here think her hair is boring but it’s goals for me, I have very dark hair and I go blond too but it’s so hard to keep it really smooth so her hair does take work!

  3. Elisa says:

She looks great, happy and relaxed. And I really like the black outfit.

I always thought they married because of brangelina. It looked to me lika a competition. Look at meeeee im getting married too?? Idk but that was the vibe i was getting at that time so maybe she felt a fake wedding party would be enough and now we all know it wasn’t a real wedding or marriage. If so, it would confirm my guess and it would be very very embarrassing. It would also say a lot about her.

    • Oliviajoy1995 says:

My guess is not everything in Jennifer’s life revolves around Brad and Angelina. It’s been almost 14 years since they split up…I’m sure Jennifer isn’t pining away for Brad anymore.

      • Dali says:

That is right, not everything in jens life revolves around brad and Angelina, but PR wise, it did absolutely for a very long time.
As if we would speculate about her at all, if there wasnt the decade long triangle.

      • Meg says:

I don’t think she’s necessarily missing brad, but missing the press and A list attention? yes of course. Jen loves that. John mayer is not a great guy but I think he hit the nail on the head when he said jen wishes it would go back to 1998 at the peak of her fame. I believe that 100%. how sad to fake a marriage, which to me was to appease the soccer mom fan base who she hopes aren’t big enough fans to actually read articles from TMZ or posts here that ask why haven’t they filed for divorce? why have no lawyers been hired? usually celeb divorces reveal which lawyers were hired, it must be advertising for the lawyers. but nothing here. very sad IMO to fake a marriage for press.

      • Carol says:

Right? This fake competition between Angelina and Jennifer is tiring and really anti-women. Im sure these two ladies dont care what other is doing.

    • Brandy Alexander says:

Getting married a year later hardly seems reactive to me, especially when they were engaged for a long time already.

  5. Nacho_friend says:

Her necklace is gorg, but what is on the pendant?

  6. Meg says:

i can’t imagine how she’d answer that. other than deflect, tell a stupid joke, etc.

  7. Loca says:

She looks beautiful. Wish I had her figure.

  8. Riley says:

Is it a fact that it was a fake marriage or just speculation? If it’s true, it was a good thing since it didn’t last long.
