I’m sorry to hear about Gloria. She had an intresting life since birth. My sympathy goes towards Anderson and her boys. She had a long life and she lived it well. RIP.

  2. Jerusha says:

Condolences to Anderson Cooper and other family and friends. After a turbulent childhood Ms. Vanderbilt created a successful, apparently happy life for herself. RIP.

  3. Mia4s says:

I read the book about Gloria’s early life and family. Good.God. The definition of money does not but happiness. But she certainly persevered. RIP

Can we finally retire the fiction that Chris Hemsworth is a movie star? Please? Most people have, but Hollywood and media keeps pushing. It’s getting embarrassing. Oh and Tessa Thompson’s people need to be more careful. Levelling up with a second franchise takes major care and planning. This was a big mistake.

    • AryasMum says:

I don’t “get” Chris Hemsworth. I thought he was an idiot in Ghostbusters.

      • ToiFilles says:

But wasn’t his character supposed to be a “himbo”? I’m trying to remember…

      • Lucy2 says:

Lol that was kind of the point.

I’ve never seen someone with so many flops get so many chances. He seems like a good guy, and I realize he is hugely popular from the Marvel movies, but I don’t think any of the non-marvel movies he’s glad have done well at all. Who keeps hiring him for them?
I’m sorry this didn’t do better for Tessa, I like her, but it wasn’t very appealing to me.

      • Adrien says:

He was always the selling point of those non Marvel movies that flopped. Star Trek 2009 made money because Chris Pine was the one heavily promoted. He was an unknown then. I like him in Bad Times at El Royal.

    • FHMom says:

Come on. He’s gorgeous. Careers have been built on less.

      • ElleKaye says:

Exactly! I also find him incredibly funny, a good dancer, and he can sing. Throw in how he interacts with his daughters and it is adorable overload.

      • Mia4s says:

Careers have been built on less, sure. He will work. But for the money his agents ask for, his constant social media selling of his family life, a relentless promotional campaign, and a pre-existing franchise…THIS is the best he can do??? Not a movie star. His quote will drop, if it hasn’t already.

I think they’re catching on though. Half this promotional campaign was just Hemsworth being Thor-adjacent. “Hey everyone! It’s a funny viral video of Thor! You remember Thor right? We have the lady from the third Thor! You liked that one right? ….Thor!” 😂

    • ElleKaye says:

Is he an Oscar winning performer? Not so far, but sometimes I just want nice things to look at…I am weak.

  4. Paige says:

She wrote 2 amazing books about her life and I love GV as much as the next guy-but WTF-her face??? You wouldn’t even know who it was…
Sad that you can’t just be 95.

  5. FHMom says:

Poor Anderson. My condolences to him and his family.

  6. Riley says:

Condolences to Anderson & family! When I first saw the main pic, I thought it was Barbara Walters!

  7. SJR says:

What is happening with Dan Stevens? He looks far too thin.

Is Anderson Cooper the only living child of Gloria Vanderbilt?
    RIP.

    • me48 says:

No she has 2 living sons from her marriage to Conductor Leopold Stokowski.

    • Skeptical says:

I think she has two other sons from her marriage with Stokowski. Stan with whom I understand she is close and Chris from whom she has been estranged for some time I believe.

    • snazzy says:

Holy Crap Dan Stevens really is disappearing he’s getting so thin! I really preferred him at his cousin Matthew weight. Hopefully he’s healthy. On a fashion note, the stash is horrid and his nail polish does not go with his suit at all.

    • Mesa says:

As far as Anderson’s concerned, he’s the only one that matters 🙄

Condolences to Kathy Griffin. She lost a true friend when forcibly parted from Gloria. RIP GV 🕊

  8. Valerie says:

So sad, My admiration for her grew when I watched Nothing Left Unsaid. I never read her book afterward, but now I think I have to. RIP.

    • TheOtherSam says:

The parts where he interviews his mom in that documentary are adorable. He seemed bemused to a state of incredulity when discussing her earlier marriages: when 17, to an older mobster-type rumored to have killed his 1st wife; then to a 63-yr old conductor when she was only 21. His giggling at it all was cute, have to say.

  9. kerwood says:

    Oh Anderson, I’m so sorry.

  10. Alexis says:

Condolences on losing your momma Anderson. And to her other boys who I do not know, sorry. 🙁
