Random thoughts: Michael Phelps photos were great; I see no point in colorizing b/w photos (Spanish Influenza pix)–colorization adds nothing; and Happy 4th! Stay safe!
Colorizing old b&w photos makes some people look at them differently, it comes across as something more modern, realistic and human, vs and old b&w view of the past. I don’t know why they chose some of those photos (the door with the sign?) but some of the ones with people are impactful.

Coincidentally I watched her on Hot Takes last night and she was really funny, sweet and charming. I really like her, she’s a great actress and made a kick-ass Captain Marvel. She’s definitely one of those celebs that I feel like if we ever met we would totally be friends lol.

In some personal good news, I got the results from my COVID test back today and I’m negative! Yahoo!! Celebrations for all 🙂

We just got word today that my younger nephew, who went back to UWI, Madison mid-June, tested positive. His gf, living with him for the summer,, tested positive over a week ago (asymptomatic so far; not feeling ill), as did every other frat brother in the house. They are all quarantining now. I feel numb; it’s so unreal. As he’s had to have been infected for at least week, too, I can only hope he stays asymptomatic w/out feeling ill as well. If you pray, please send some our way ❤️

Ok. *big sigh* I know I’ll get cr•p for this but I am tired of seeing celebs take up spaces that are for other people to have a voice, pretending to be oh-so-not-internet-savvy (because cute celebs can get away with it) and not know how to work Zoom. Sean Evans is for me the epitome of running with something from scratch and being uber professional about it, and actually creating something totally unexpected. I want skilled interviewers to make money doing interviews. Not celebs taking up space for us to say how adorable they are.

I agree with you. They already have their huge Hollywood stage – it’s like popping onto the community theater stage just to get every ray of limelight. I’m not talking about Larsen though but some others who clearly could not handle life without paparazzi.

Salt was meant to be the female version of Mission Impossible and Bond. And I do miss her very much in action films, unfortunately it looks like she will not be doing them anymore and doing passion projects instead.
Somewhere I read (probably here, haha) that Angelina said in an interview that she did the action films – when her kids were young – because she wanted them to think she was cool. Gotta love it.
My wife was due to be born in early July and her communist parents were really hoping that she wasn’t going to be born on the fourth. Fortunately for them she was born on the fifth.
Anyway it seems stupid saying happy Independence Day at the moment with the US collapsing under the weight of its disease. There’s nothing happy about the US at the moment and it’s only going to get worse. You guys are going to exceed one million deaths from the corona virus by the looks of it.

Our governor finally did something right here, but he already has so much blood on his hands. My husband and I have have been wearing masks since March, and were the minority when we had to go out. The arrogance of people in this state is out of control.
