  1. MyNAME says:

To quote a friend: If the governor said wear butt coverings, there are some idiots out there who would immediately go out without wearing pants.

  2. SamC says:

What is it with all the people having fits in Costco? Assuming it’s because they want to go viral for being an a!>?! I mean, if you’re a member the mask policy isn’t a surprise as they’ve communicated the policy multiple times, have clear signage, etc. AND are one of the few places that is vigilant about enforcing it.

    • Eugh says:

You’d think risking your Costco access would be enough risk to just wear a damn mask for an hour (or less)

  3. ME says:

Why are people so against wearing masks? These motherf*ckers know Covid-19 is airborne right?

    • minx says:

They want to perform for fellow MAGA heads. They want to cause a scene. If you truly hated wearing a mask that much you can get anything you want delivered, no need to go in any store. We’ve gotten a refrigerator and furniture delivered during quarantine.

      • Traveler says:

You’re right, it’s their normal everyday, angry, aggressive performance to broadcast their allegiance to anti-intellectualism (in other words MAGAts). It must be absolutely miserable being them; a life of abject hate and utter stupidity.

These people terrify me because they go around instigating for a fight. I feel for the employees who are abused by them for doing their job. I don’t go into stores right now (pandemic) and glad I don’t because I’m a hot head, would not be able to hold my tongue, and would probably wind up shot.

    • Lisa says:

And the way he’s shouting, he’s spitting everywhere!

    • Tanguerita says:

But don’t you know that you can die of inhaling Co 2 (also known as you mouth stunk) like, immediately? Plus the mask doesn’t go with his “ruler of the world” T-Shirt.
PS. He got fired, so there is that. Imagine buying an insurance policy from this guy.

  4. Darla says:

This was a really upsetting one, because he’s clearly crazy, and it’s Florida, and he’s screaming I feel threatened as he moves on them. If feels like he was setting up a stand your ground thing. I bet he’s armed.

    • Anners says:

Yes to this ^^ – he seems unhinged. It also baffles me that people think screaming “I feel threatened” while clenching their fists and moving towards the object or person threatening them somehow covers their aggressive behviour (see central park karen)

    • Tiffany :) says:

Yes, he was absolutely setting up a defense for murdering someone. You can tell he trained for such a moment.

Anners is correct that a truly threatened person would not act as AGGRESSIVE as this man is. Right wing extremists seem to think that if you shout that you are a victim while victimizing others, it some how makes your crimes go away. Sadly, they probably learned from George Zimmerman.

    • whatWHAT? says:

he is armed. you can see the gun bulge at his waist. on his right side, our left.

and that shirt he’s wearing is VERY popular with white supremacist groups.

oh, and he’s already been fired. tots and pears, man, tots and pears.

  5. Yup, Me says:

He looks so fucking stupid. I’m sure this isn’t the first time. He looks like it’s a regular occurrence.

  6. Ms Petit says:

Just read that he’s been identified and fired from his job!

    • Tiffany says:

I saw it on my Twitter account.

      They were on it.

    • CL says:

      good!
please picture the late Grumpy Cat face while reading

    • holly hobby says:

Really? Was he a cop? Some people on twitter speculated he was. Again when are these idiots going to learn that there are consequences and everyone has a camera now?

One British guy (he’s not American) had the nerve to harass an Asian family in Monterey. The restaurant staff kicked him out and then Twitter ID him. He owns a tech co in SF. He can kiss that goodbye now too.

      • whatWHAT? says:

nope, he WAS an insurance salesman.

good luck finding another insurance job, sucka!

    • khaveman says:

Seems fair. He is bringing unwanted bad publicity to his place of employment by going viral. They have interests to protect and can’t employ people who go CRAY at Costco.

    • lucy2 says:

Good. I’m really tired of these people, they’re doing it to live out some sort of freedom hero fantasy, when all they are is stupid and cruel. Part of me wishes they’d stop going viral each time, but then again I’m always glad when they are outed, fired, etc.

    • JanetDR says:

I’m so glad to know that he has been fi red! I don’t suppose it will stop his aggressive behavior, but at least there is a consequence.

  7. detritus says:

I got yelled at today because I asked someone not wearing a mask w a smokers cough to give me a little more space.

Apparently their need to do exactly as they please is more important than public safety.

    • Liz version 700 says:

It is head banging against the wall frustrating to deal with these folks

    • HeyDay says:

IF there are no fines on businesses, these screaming matches will keep occurring. I dont’ think we have the infrastructure to have fine cops. Tho I’d gladly walk around businesses giving out infractions –not to clients but to the actual business owner. AS is , the business owners are in charge- that’s like the fox in charge of the henhouse. Bars esp want drunk spending patrons–why impose CDC guidelines if NOT following is a money maker??

      • NatureLover says:

That’s an excellent suggestion!! I also think people like this crazy Ken was itching for a reason to escalate the situation. Someone should have called the police on this guy. It was sad a few months back when a security guard for a dollar store, or some type of cheap store, was shot and killed for confronting the family for not wearing a mask. The thugs went home, retrieving a gun and came back and killed him. Do we need to start hiring PO to mandate safety for others with regards to crazy Kens and Karen’s today??

      • detritus says:

I’m lucky because I’m in a place where masks are mandatory in stores, so I’d generally just ask a manager to intervene if we were inside, but didn’t think a polite request for more space while waiting in line would set anyone off quite like that.

I’d hate to be anywhere where there was no legal teeth for mask wearing, I’m sure it makes people so much worse

  8. ChillyWilly says:

This dude is why I don’t call people out for not wearing a mask at the grocery store. I don’t want Ken/Karen screaming virus droplets in my face and/or shooting me. I just make sure to stay far away from anyone not masked. These anti-maskers are freaking psychotic.

    • MaryContrary says:

Same. I give them wide berth.

    • Alarmjaguar says:

Same, but then the poor employees making minimum wage have to deal with them.

      • NatureLover says:

True, and they love to belittle and abuse poor workers in stores and other shopping establishments that they feel that they have the freedom to abuse. When did it become acceptable for people to act like this? Though I don’t know why I ask this question since I already know the answer. They are all MAGAt’s!!

  9. Liz version 700 says:

This jerk’s girlfriend/wife needs to meet with a domestic violence counselor. There is. I way this guy is only that angry at Costco.

  10. Liz version 700 says:

This jerk’s girlfriend/wife needs to meet with a domestic violence counselor. There is no way this guy is only that angry at Costco.

  11. Liz version 700 says:

Per the “Twitter police” this guy is an insurance salesman who has been fired for his behavior in this video. Good someone who terrorizes older people needs to be canceled 100%

    • TheOriginalMia says:

      Good. He was completely unhinged.

    • Tiffany says:

The Twitter account for his company had not put a tweet up in a year and it blew up. Not only did Twitter find the owner, they also found the owners son and that this was a affiliate of Allstate. The son when on his personal account to stop the bleeding and said that a statement from them and Allstate is coming.

You have to wonder how all of this would have played out if we were not in the middle of a pandemic and people are sitting at home right now instead of at work.

I am guess Costco Ken could have had his job for a least another week,

But kudos to the man who recorded and stood by the elderly woman.

    • Eugh says:

Twitter vs. Karen/Racist/Crazy person is currently 999 to 0 right now. If you are on camera being an animal, you will be identified in minutes, and will get fired with 100% probability. Why are people going more insane rather than being on their kindest behaviour?

  12. Lizzie says:

I hope someday he needs surgery and the surgeon refuses to wear a mask because it’s his constitutional right *points to flag*.

This guy looks nuts. The lady in Target yesterday was trying to create a viral video. Called her self a blond wearing a Rolex, man add some bold quotes around both blond and Rolex.

    • CL says:

The lady in Target is actually mentally ill. Apparently she was taken to a hospital after the incident.

      • lucy2 says:

I watched that and came to same conclusion, she was not well, and I’m glad someone got her help. I’m sorry people had to deal with her and the mess she made though.

  13. aquarius64 says:

When will these idiots learn you act ratchet in public you will be id’d; it will get back to your employer and depending on your employment contract you will be fired?

  14. Mtec says:

I hope they take away his costco membership and ban him from all their stores.

    • Liz version 700 says:

I read that the Costco employees made the victim stay until he left and walked her to her car.

      • lucy2 says:

Every Costco employee I’ve ever dealt with has been super nice and considerate. I’m sorry they seem to be the main target for these nutjobs.

      • Alarmjaguar says:

I had a relative work for Costco and really liked the company. They treat their workers well and it shows.

      • Mtec says:

        @Alarmjaguar
Yeah it is! I worked at Costco for 5 years. They treat their employees really well. I have nothing but great memories with this company, management, etc. 🙂

  15. Mabs A'Mabbin says:

I just read this on Reddit lol. People like this are 10x worse in private, if you can imagine.

    • NatureLover says:

Oh my, that’s disturbing! It makes me fearful for his wife/girlfriend/children! Let’s hope he NEVER procreates!!
I am coming to the conclusion that anyone who voted/supports Drumpf and has morphed into a rabid monster, and has become a danger to society, should have their right to vote REVOKED!!

  16. Alarmjaguar says:

On a much lighter note, I actually think American Pickle looks fun…but I am an historian, so it is kind of my thing.

  17. Rapunzel says:

Re: Costco Ken, how did he get in with no mask? I thought Costco was requiring them?

    Thar guy is psycho.

    • Coco says:

He turns around at the end of the video, and you can see that he does have a mask, he’s just flipped it to the back of his head.

      • Jaded says:

He’s actually wearing his sunglasses on the back of his head. A typical Ken douche fashion statement. I hate him with the heat of a thousand suns.

    • ME says:

Some people will walk in with a mask but then take it off as soon as they can. It’s so stupid and actually dangerous. F*ck these people.

  18. khaveman says:

Just a thought – does anyone think all of these people (or some) are being paid by a certain campaign to sow resentment and discord? Hmmm “Actors stirring things up”

    • lucy2 says:

Possibly. After all, that side is the one screaming “crisis actors!” when children were asking to not be shot at school, and they all project their own crimes, so…possibly.

  19. Mustang Sally says:

So let me get this straight: He feels threatened to told to wear a mask? Perhaps its just me, however this a**crack lives in a state that posted 11k+ new COVID cases – I would think NOT wearing a mask to be far more of a threat.

  20. JRenee says:

    What an asshole!

  21. Christine says:

My friend who works retail was called a Face Nazi when he asked a woman to wear her mask. She had one, just wasn’t wearing it while walking around. Funnily enough her husband was wearing his the entire time. It’s like she got offended of getting called out and doubled down.

    • Tiffany :) says:

It is a TOTAL FAILURE of the Trump Administration that they have politicized mask wearing. They are responsible for so many deaths and illnesses because they want to turn every.single.f’ing.issue into a wedge. Not everything is a team sport where we must be at opposite opinions.

They are killing people and themselves just to “own the libs”.

  22. Larelyn says:

And, speaking of Trump’s administration, they have announced the beginning of a year-long plan to withdraw the US from WHO. Just because they let China unleash C19 on ‘Murica. Ugh.

  23. Still_Sarah says:

“Shein apologizes for selling Muslim prayer mats as home decor”.
I worked in Saudi Arabia for the last two years. They take their religion very serious there. In the department stores, I saw boxes with pictures of western women on the front and their bare legs and arms had been covered up with black tape so that no one could see it. They sold prayer mats in the department store and I bought one to use as a wall decoration. It had a hook on the top, so I figured it was ok to hang it up. But putting it on the floor?! In Saudi, there are facilities in mosques for people to wash their feet before they go in and shoes are left outside. So putting what looks a hell of a lot like a prayer mat on the ground where anyone could step on it is pretty offensive. People are so dumb to do something like this.

  24. Thea says:

There’s a video of older lady who refused to wear a mask in Costco. She had one, just didn’t want to wear it. The employee asked if she has a condition that prohibits her from wearing one. She does not. Then she promptly sits on the floor like a toddler throwing a tantrum.

I just can’t with these people.

The other day I was at sprouts and the guy who walked in before me didn’t have a mask. So the employee gave him one and he wore it. At first I thought he was gonna make a scene, but he didn’t. Perhaps he really did forget.

  25. 专为您设计 says:

I’m glad we’ve settled on Ken as the male equivalent of Karen because Chad was already getting used by the Incels.

  26. Mary says:

Too many public places are letting maskless people get away with their idiotic protests and serving them. I understand it is sometimes because people say they can’t breathe with a mask or otherwise have a medical exception to any mask requirements.

I was pissed because I was in a store yesterday when a maskless guy came in, touching everything and getting angry when an employee told him that masks are required. In my State, they are required in all indoor public places. They served him anyway.

I spoke to the employee later and suggested they just not serve people breaking the law. No shirt, no shoes, no mask, no service…. She agreed but said that many say they have medical issues and her employer said they can’t legally request proof so they have to serve them. That is WRONG.

I confirmed today with the DRS of the DOJ and OSHA that even disabled persons can be refused service indoors if they are not wearing a mask as required by either law or company policy due to Covid-19 concerns (under Safety exception to the ADA). If someone does have a disability the business needs to try to otherwise accommodate them where possible (e.g., curbside service) but is not only not required to serve them indoors but, in States like mine, should not serve them (violation of mask requirements).

So, today I filed a complaint with OSHA about the store requiring/allowing it’s employees to serve maskless customers. I encourage anyone else that sees a maskless Karen/Ken getting away with that crap by intimidating employees to do the same.

Even if you are in a locale that does not require masks indoors by law/regulation, businesses have the right to set a policy requiring masks indoors and can refuse service.

I am afraid that it may only be with OSHA complaints that some businesses will take their employees’ and other customers’ concerns seriously. It may also, as a practical matter, help cut down on maskless protests.

  27. KellyRyan says:

Ego driven? Paid to perform? Sometimes the video does not provide the truth.

  28. L4frimaire says:

We’re going to be in lockdown forever because of selfish, aggressive idiots like this dweeb.

  29. shanaynay says:

What is wrong with all these idiots making this insane outbursts? What is the big deal about wearing a mask. These people need to get a grip. If they don’t want to wear the mask, they should stay home and order their items online. They could be asymptomatic and are putting everyone in danger.
