Joe Jackson still cashing in on Michael’s death

The MTV Video Music Awards Take Over Radio City Music Hall!
Eh, I hate this sh-t so much. Just reading this kind of crap gives me a tension headache. Okay, here goes: Joe Jackson is still hellbent on profiting on Michael. Joe’s latest scheme involves This Is It, the upcoming film that will feature Michael’s final rehearsals. Joe has made arrangements to “introduce” the film at screenings in England. Of course, his introductions come at a cost – the Chicago Sun-Times estimates Joe will be paid $250,000, but doesn’t specify if that figure is for the whole introduction series, or Joe will be making $250,000 per introduction.

One thing about Joe Jackson: He sure is busy cashing in on his superstar son’s death.

Given Michael Jackson’s final concerts had been scheduled for London and were instant sellouts, Papa Joe has moved to make some serious moolah tied to the release of ‘‘This Is It,’’ the upcoming film of Michael’s final rehearsals for that tour.

I’ve learned that when the film opens in England, Joe will introduce screenings during the first week at selected venues. Word has it, he will be paid about $250,000 for his, uh, efforts — which reportedly will include sharing a few stories about the King of Pop with audiences before the screenings.

‘‘He stands to make more from these London shows than from his Vegas deal,’’ said a source privy to the London project, referring to the VIP packages Jackson is promoting for ‘‘This Is It’’ openings Oct. 26 and 27 in Las Vegas, with prices ranging up to $3,000 per ticket.

I don’t even want to go into how gross I find Joe Jackson and his whole deal. It’s just disgusting to me. So I’ll change the subject.

Justin Timberlake gave a recent interview to MTV about Michael’s legacy, and Justin is incredibly generous, gracious and thoughtful with his tribute to the performer he idolized. JT says: “If there’s anything that I think my generation of artists — including myself, obviously — emulate about Michael, it’s that he felt what he was doing so much that his vocal presentation of the song, you can tell when he was cutting the record he was probably dancing in the booth. At least that’s what it seems like to me. That type of energy, that kinetic energy into the music, I think that’s what we all try to emulate. From hip-hop to pop to rock and roll, I think that there’s inflection that he put into music as a vocalist that no one had ever really heard that way. I just heard certain songs that I loved as a kid and I gravitated toward those songs. It just so happens that 99.79 percent of his songs are perfect. They’re perfect songs. The other whatever percentage are works of art as well.” Aw… nice. Just think about Justin and forget about that crotchety, senile, gross, abusive, disgusting son of bitch Joe.

Id love to be at one of these screenings – just so i could be the first person to lob a box of milk duds at this disgusting self-serving vampiric piece of garbage.

  2. Lantana says:

Does anyone still wonder why MJ was so effed up?

  3. Firestarter says:

It is a disgrace that this man has done NOTHING his entire life but live off of his son and abuse him in life and now in death. It makes me sick that anyone would offer this man a dime, especially to tell “stories” about his dead son, a son who did his best to sever any relationship with him he could! Is Joe going to tell how he killed his pet mouse? Tell about beating candy out of his little hands, about how he made Jackson into the strange and tortured soul that he was? This man should have been the one to pass on in that family, not Michael!

Is there an island that we can drop him, the Gosselswine’s, thw Looney Ballooney Heene’s, and Lohan on and never have to hear about them again?

I hate people who make money for no dicernable talent, other than fame whoring!

  4. Sudini says:

Why would anyone pay him to intro the movie? I wouldn’t think that’s an incentive to moving goers.

  5. Green Is Good says:

This guy is a scumbag of the highest order. Why has no other member of the Jackson clan called this guy on his shit publicly? It’s disgusting.

  6. Firestarter says:

@Green is Good- Because I am beginning to think they are all, except for Reebie,(who does call him out) just as bad as the father/husband.

  7. Green Is Good says:

@Firestarter, point taken. They’re all riding the gravy train with biscuit wheels. Except Janet, who has her own money; or Rebbie who escaped the crazy the 1st chance she got.

  8. original kate says:

what a pathetic excuse for a father.

  9. Victoria says:

Please no one give that creep any money for this scheme. You know it’s like Joe Jackson thinks everyone owes HIM something for his sons fame! I will NEVER forget him pumping his new record label the DAY his son died! The interviewer wanted to talk about Michale and he was all “here’s my new record label”. He’s a MONSTER! I didnt know about killing the mouse or beating candy out of his hands. That’s so sad!

  10. TxGal says:

Too bad people will go see the movie and this idiot will get paid.

  11. Cheyenne says:

I always said Rebbie was the only sane one in that whole f*cked-up menage. The rest of them are a bunch of nutcases in varying degrees, and that includes Janet and Katherine.

  13. Nony says:

What I don’t get is… why would any of MJs fans want to support this deadbeat creep? They should be the LAST to pay this guy to disrespect his son with ‘happy childhood memories’.

  14. NFLer says:

Someone needs to give his mean old ass a dose of sleepy bye medicine.

  15. ooglyboogly says:

What kind of dumbass is going to pay $3000 to see a movie? It’s a movie! In my wildest imagination, I can see myself paying $50 for a really kickass 3D IMAX experience. Snacks included.

I am still trying to get past LaToya telling everyone about Michaels children’s seeing grief counselors. And what their personal issues are. Michael fought for their privacy and protecting his children. These poor children are probably listening to things they shouldn’t hear. Joe’s behavior when Michael died, I can’t think of a word bad enough, that would cover my feeling about him. He was smiling alot and saying how he was gonna make sure they have the best education. He acted like he was at a party.I think LOVE is what they need. Why is it that they are all of a sudden getting a reality show? Commercials show the brothers laughing and happy. All of these things are suspicious to me.I haven’t seen them doing anything in years. He dies and all of a sudden money making everywhere.Just saying. Michael’s eyes for years you could see sadness, blankstares all the time.Even when surrounded by people he looked alone. Michael’s spirit was taken from him years ago. His not wanting to look like Joe should have told Joe something.Michael was the best father those children could ever have.He loved them more than life itself. I pray those children don’t hear conversations about their paternity. Michael is their father and thats all they ever need to hear. People are so thoughtless some times. What they hear and how their treated will make them the adults their gonna be.God Bless these children and keep them safe. And God Bless the Jackson family.
