This is pretty much the worst time for excerpts from Fergie’s December cover interview in Cosmopolitan to come out. Fergie has been totally quiet about the scandal surrounding her husband Josh Duhamel and his alleged affair with Georgia stripper Nicole Forrester. Since the scandal broke in the Enquirer last week, Josh’s reps have issued denial after denial while Forrester talks to every press outlet that will have her and her epic tale of pr0n-filled seduction. Meanwhile, Fergie’s only “statement” seems to be the visual one she created yesterday, when she and Josh created a “we’re still together” photo-op for some photographers. Josh didn’t look like he was “in the doghouse”, but whatever.
In the Cosmo interview (which hasn’t been released completely), Fergie brags about how Josh was “excited” with the weight she gained for her role in Nine (in which she plays a hooker). She also claims that with her, we get both the “virgin” and the “whore”. Seriously. I’m not making this up. Worst. Timing. Ever.
Josh’s reaction to Fergie’s recent weight gain for her role in the movie Nine:“When I came home from filming he was excited. He enjoys having both: the extra meat to grab when it’s there and the tight stomach when that’s there. He always gives me compliments. He’s never been critical.”
Fergie on the virgin/whore complex:
“You know, in Italy, Catholic boys are raised to believe that there are two types of women: the Madonna and the whore. And me? I’m both.”

Oh, girl. Get it together. As this scandal gets dragged out – even making both People and Us Weekly’s covers this week – I’m feeling for Fergie more and more. And I kind of feel like Cosmo should have kept the interview excerpts quiet for a few more days. Hearing Fergie brag about Josh loving her curves is just… uncomfortable. Of course, it bothers me because I believe Josh screwed around with Nicole the stripper. Oh – and here’s something else, from Us Weekly’s cover story: Nicole allegedly kept the text messages Josh sent her during their brief fling. So… there’s probably proof. I wonder if that will change Fergie’s mind, and get her to leave?
UPDATE: Fergie just gave a one-sentence denial to Entertainment Tonight about the stripper stuff. She says: “”These allegations are nonsense.” That’s it? No humming of “Stand By Your Man”? Hmm…

Don’t ask me why, but I have been rooting for this couple from day 1. I hope they work this thing out. Unfortunately, I believe the stripper as I doubt someone would say they have a saved text if they don’t.

Personally, I like Fergie with a lighter hair color.
I am not specifically a fan, but I think Fergie looks better in that cover shot than ever before. The haircolor could be lighter, Firestarter is right, but at least her eyebrows are now on the planet with the rest of us and not up in the stratosphere like they always were before…
I do get the feeling that the stripper story is true. But maybe Fergie and Josh have an open marriage? Who knows?
Really random and off topic, but you know what i was just thinking; How come guy magazines have hot girls on them, but girl magazines don’t put hot guys on the cover, instead they put more hot girls. Wtf?
I love that US Cosmo makes their covergirls use the same pose as Aussie Cosmo. Is that the only flattering pose they can come up with?

i always heard that they were both swingers so i’d be shocked if she loses sleep over his boffing another woman. i suspect that the bigger problem is the negative publicity, not the infidelity per se.
On the American covers of Cosmo there are three different poses they have their covergirls do. The one Fergie is doing, a hand on the other hip, or both hands on their hips. It’s all about making their arms look slimmer and such.
Honestly, I’m not seeing this cover as too attractive. She’s a pretty woman for the most part but I’m sure there was a better image for their cover. She honestly looks constipated.
I’ve also been rooting for them. I’ve always liked Fergie. Not crazy about her solo work, but I like her with the Peas. I like the darker hair, too. Go Ferg!
Well, She ruined the Black Eyed Peas (who were so SERIAL before her) and every time someone say “my lovely lady humps” I vurp in my mouth a little. BUT She and Josh seemed good together. They always hung out in Santa Monica- ran and climbed stairs with us pee-ons in the Canyon and are genuinely friendly and approachable.
I hope they don’t end it, despite the shit she is taking for this. Like I said before I have heard their sex life is a lot more freaky than we should even know about. Maybe she wouldn’t otherwise be upset about this, if it hadn’t leaked.
It looks like she’s holding her breath.
I do hope that if they have an open marriage, the tabloids stop speculating. Of course, I’d love it if they’d just come out and say it, because then I wouldn’t think of him as a cheater now.
