Back in April, we heard the surprising news that Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet were “hanging out” and possibly dating. There were some sightings of Timmy and Kylie on dates in LA, and gossip about how Kylie was visiting Chalamet’s LA home. Most of those rumors happened during the month of April. We actually didn’t hear much about them and their alleged relationship for much of May. Now it feels like someone (Kris Jenner) is trying to tell us that Timlie is not really happening:
Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet continue to enjoy each other’s company sans labels. A source close to the 25-year-old The Kardashians star tells PEOPLE that she and Chalamet, 27, are still spending time together when they are both in her native Los Angeles.
“Kylie enjoys dating, but her main focus is being a mom,” the insider says, clarifying that their relationship is “not serious.”
Reps for Jenner and Chalamet did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
PEOPLE reported in mid-April that Jenner and Chalamet — who has been romantically linked in the past to Lourdes Leon, Lily-Rose Depp and Eiza González — met earlier this year at an event in Europe.
Are… are they just hooking up? Friends with benefits? Were they ever really dating? I have no idea. My guess is that they did hang out and have some fun together but it was never serious. I am curious about how the whole thing happened and what they actually talked about, but whatever. It’s none of my business, and clearly, Kris Jenner is backing off this storyline. It makes me wonder if Kylie has someone new, like a completely different summer romance.
