Rosie O’Donnell calls her new relationship “yummy”

Last week, we found out that Rosie O’Donnell has a new girlfriend. The girlfriend’s name is Tracy Kachtick-Anders, and she sounds pretty cool, quite honestly. She’s an artist, a doula, an adoptive mother and a gay rights activist, so she sounds pretty much right up Rosie’s alley. After photos were taken of Tracey and Rosie holding hands and Rosie’s rep confirmed the relationship quickly. Now, Rosie and her former partner Kelli Carpenter just announced their split recently, although Rosie later claimed Kelli had moved out two years ago. It’s thought that Rosie and Tracy’s relationship began sometime last year, and has picked up some steam the past few months. And now Rosie is confirming that her new girlfriend is “yummy.”

How is Rosie O’Donnell’s new romance going? Just rosy.

On her Sirius XM radio show “Rosie Radio” Monday, she described Tracy Kachtick-Anders — an artist and mother of six — as a “lovely, lovely, lovely, lovely person.”

She also called their relationship “yummy. I love it all … It’s almost too good to be true!”
Still, she said she was surprised at all the attention they’ve received since they stepped out holding hands in Miami Dec. 29. “I had no idea that it would be on CNN,” O’Donnell, 47, said of her new relationship. She then mocked a television announcer: “‘Rosie has a new girlfriend – tonight at 6.'”

Added O’Donnell, “It’s odd for me … and quite odd for Tracy.”

She is relieved people know, though. “Now I don’t have to worry about not saying it for four hours a day,” she said, explaining how she can now talk openly about her new romance on her show.

It appears O’Donnell’s children (she has four with ex-partner Kelli Carpenter) have already met Tracy’s kids.

“[10] kids at your house your 4 gf’s 6 + Ellis?” a Rosie.com reader asked Sunday on her web site Rosie.com.

“Yes,” Rosie noted.

In October, O’Donnell announced that she and Carpenter had called it quits.

“We have different styles of living,” she later explained to Howard Stern. “I’m very messy. She’s very not.”

I know Rosie evokes strong feelings, both of love and hate, so I won’t go on and on about how Rosie sounds happy and deserves to some happiness in her life, although I do believe that. I hope for Rosie’s sake Tracy is cool with some publicity, because now that Rosie has opened the floodgates, who knows what will come out.

Rosie disgusts me. I doubt there is very little she doesn’t find “YUMMY”.

  2. Lway says:

    Nuff said Rosie – eeew

  3. Lita says:

Lita calls Rosie O’Donnell’s new relationship “meh, with a side of vicious-potato-face”

  4. LolaBella says:

@ Lita: LMAO! That comment made me giggle-snort my tea.

I’m not a Rosie-lover, but everyone deserves some love and happiness in their lives, so I’m going to say good for her and good luck.

That said Rosie, learn from your past mistakes and STFU about your relationship.

You don’t need to gab about it on your blog or go on LKL; respect your partner’s right to privacy and just keep your relationship personal between the two of you.

    That is all.

  5. Dorothy says:

I LOVE Rosie! Happy for her too, maybe she can work through some of her demons.

  6. Kevin says:

If she can’t work her way through her demons, I bet she can eat her way through them! DARN IT LITA! I’m not going to be able to eat the left over tater salad in the fridge now! lol

  7. MizzExpert says:

Yikes! Now who would want to get close to that? Rosie looks like the most volatile, stark-raving PMS bitch around! Woe to her new lady…

  8. Tess says:

Her compulsion to talk too much—-“yummy????” pul-eeeze—is a relationship killer in itself.

Seems she exercises little self-discipline and respects no boundaries.

Except for that, she’s fine. Oh, forgot her rage issues.

  9. diva says:

I’m sure her girlfriend is happy to be around Rosie for her money, she doesn’t seem like the nicest person to be around.

  10. snowball says:

Kevin, you’re on a roll this morning. Is there anyone you find attractive? You’re running out of demographics.

I’m glad Rosie found a nice woman. Hopefully it’ll rub off on her.

  11. Essie says:

I agree with everyone else . . . Rosie, STFU!!! She seems to have no boundaries. Nor does she know how to respect anybody elses boundaries. She sounds like a love sick teen.

P.S.: I don’t think this new woman is in it for the money. She sounds to intelligent and cool for that. I think she was just a lonely single mother who reached out to Rosie and is happy to have a companion.

  12. DoMaJoReMc says:

I feel that this new woman has had QUITE the fulfilling, independant life BEFORE Rosie, so I doubt that Rosie’s money has anything to do with all of this(I may be wr-wr-wr-wrong!). This new woman seems quite sincere, kind, and generous of heart. I hope that Rosie doesn’t F— this one up with her anger issues like she did with Kelli. Hopefully Rosie starts to take better care of herself (mind and body) and gets on with her life HAPPILY!

  13. Whitey Fisk says:

    Lola, my thoughts exactly.

  14. Kevin says:

Snowball, it’s not her looks that I don’t like. It was her ambush on Tom Selleck on her show years ago that started it. And as far as looks go, I’m no prize. People aren’t afraid to sit across from me at dinner but my 10 minutes were a long time ago.

  15. Tess says:

    @Kevin

Right, I had forgotten about that. She’s a bully. A really ignorant bully, which is the least attractive type of bully it’s possible to be.

  16. GatsbyGal says:

I’m gonna throw up. Fucking gross.

  17. Firestarter says:

    LOL@Kevin

  18. Linda says:

I hate to remind you of this, Rosie, but you did get married!!!

  19. Madchen says:

    What’s the Tom Selleck story?

  20. Tia says:

OMG GatsbyGal…kind of a harsh response..wtf…calm down, it isn’t that big of a deal. I wish the two love birds the very best.

  21. Firestarter says:

@Madchen- If memory serves, Tom is a conservative and very vocal about the right to bear arms. Rosie had him on her show and was HORRIBLE to him.

I may be wrong on the details, but I think that is the basis of her attack on Selleck.

  22. PigskinMama says:

Ew! Sorry the picture of Rosie going downtown on anyone is just yuck.
