DNA tests are still pending for the two week-old baby boy that a Canadian woman claims was fathered by Beyonce’s dad and manager, Mathew Knowles. Knowles has been ordered to pay a whopping $8,200 a month to the baby’s mother, Alexsandra Wright, along with a lump payment of over $20,000 for this month. He previously paid Wright $10,000 to cover the costs of the birth, suggesting that he suspects that the baby is his even if he sort-of denied it in a carefully worded statement after the baby’s birth. “We are not aware of the birth of a child. Mr. Knowles has never had a DNA test. These rumors are untrue.”
Knowles, 59, was married to Beyonce’s mother for 29 years before she filed for divorce in December of last year. It’s thought that the paternity case against him, first filed last fall, pushed her to end the marriage.
Beyonce’s father, Mathew Knowles, has just been ordered to support baby Nixon, at least temporarily … TMZ has learned.
An L.A. judge just ordered Knowles to pay $8,200 a month in child support, retroactive to February 1. Knowles must also pay 100% of uninsured medical costs.
Alexsandra Wright claims she had an 18-month relationship with Knowles and he’s the baby daddy of Nixon — born February 4.
Wright’s lawyer, Neal Hersh, went to court today asking for support and the judge granted it.
But Knowles will take a DNA test March 1 … and the long-term support issues hinge on the outcome.
It’s interesting — Knowles has not flat out denied he’s the daddy. And in fact, he gave Alexsandra $10,000 in January to cover uninsured medical costs and baby stuff.
UPDATE: The Judge ordered Knowles to pay Wright $20,750 for the month of January.

That’s got to suck for this guy’s family to see that he’s messing around on their mother at a time that he should be thinking of retiring. Even though Beyonce and Solange are in their 20s it’s still got to bother them that their dad is having a baby with another woman. Little Nixon is their half brother! At least Knowles is going to have to pay through the nose for his infidelity, but what seems like a lot of money to us is probably chump change to the guy who gets a healthy percentage of his famous daughter’s earnings.

Karma. If she was in Canada still when she birthed Nixon, medical for a birth is usually covered, so I wonder if 10000 was her tip.I feel for Beyonce’s mom and Bey and Solange but most of all for the baby, wasn’t his fault. Bey should fire his a$$.

He and his wife have been separated for awhile ( years I believe) they just pretended to be together , so it should not be any major shock to them.
Is going to be weird for Solagne son to have an uncle years younger than him but then again he was the son of a unwed teenage mom who ended marrying his father to save face and it ended up in divorce.

If the woman lives in Canada, then her medical costs are covered, so I don’t understand what Knowles is paying for up front–unless it was supposed to be hush money or something.

I knew that the world we live in is really messed up, but how seriously SCREWD is every man in America, if overzealous, gold digger loving judges are now granting women exhorbitant amounts (or any amounts for that matter) of child support BERFORE DNA tests even confirm whether or not he’s actually of any relation to the child at all??!!!
Hmmm, I’m a little behind in student loans, maybe I should have a baby and claim that Tom Brady is the father? Why the hell not? Who cares if he really isn’t the father? A judge will apparantly give me some of his cash anyway just because I say he is. DISGUSTING.

Well said Patrice, but I am wondering if more is going on then we know. An earlier comment stated that Matthew and his wife had been separated for years. Don’t know if it is true, but if it is than it is quite possible that he was in a relationship of some sort with this woman and therefore he probably thinks it is possible that he could be the father.

What disturbs me the most about this whole story is – who in the hell names their child NIXON????!!!! As a person who grew up in the 70s and 80s, my earliest political memory is of Nixon the president, the crook, the sheister. Who wants to give their child that karma? Weird.

The slightest research shows a lot of evidence that Beyonce is over thirty. I usually don’t pay much attention to that stuff and yes, age shaving is nothing new in Hollywood, entertainment, etc., but this one always gets my attention because I saw proof myself. It was a home video of B and some other girls dancing in 1988, maybe 87. The date is not on the tape, it was probably erased. B looks to be 13 or 14 and is dressed accordingly with the pegged pants, big bows, etc. Classic 1988. I know because I was 13-14 in 1988, and I am 35. If she was as young as she claims to be, she NEVER would have been wearing these style clothes in what, 1996? NO WAY in hell would a 14 year old in 1996 be wearing that stuff. NO WAY. She is anywhere from 33 to 35.
