Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party was THE social event of season. It was a who’s who of well-connected Angelenos, with a mix of A-listers, billionaires, oligarchs and even royalty. The party was so loud, the cops stopped by repeatedly because Jeff Bezos’ neighbors complained. Oprah was there. Beyonce was there. Justin Bieber performed. Bill Gates AND Mark Zuckerberg were there. But there was one notable absence. Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend of nearly three years skipped the party. Timothee Chalamet was nowhere to be seen, and there are only a handful of photos of Kylie at the party. Well, the Daily Mail ran an exclusive about how Kylie was dumped by Timmy and that’s why he didn’t go to the party. The only problem with that story? Y’all aren’t going to lie about Kris Jenner’s youngest, especially when it involves Kris’s birthday party! Kris ran to People Magazine immediately to refute the breakup story:

Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet are still going strong. Despite a report of a split, the A Complete Unknown star, 29, and Kylie Cosmetics founder, 28, are not only together but they’re doing “great,” multiple sources tell PEOPLE.

After Chalamet was absent from Kylie’s mom Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party on Sunday, Nov. 9, rumors began to swirl that the couple had called it quits, but the actor was out of the country filming Dune: Part Three during the extravagant bash, a source says.

“They’re great,” the insider tells PEOPLE. Adding that while he’s been working in Europe, the pair have made “an effort to see each other every few weeks. He has a few days off for the holidays so they’re making plans.”

“Timothée talked about Kylie all the time while filming Marty Supreme,” another insider tells PEOPLE exclusively, adding that “she even flew out to visit him on set in N.Y.C. They also met up in London while he was shooting Dune. They’re really in love.”

A third source says they’re “going strong.”

DailyMail reported on Nov. 11 that the couple had split. The pair’s last public appearance together was in early October, when they attended a New York Yankees playoff game days after Kylie stepped out to support the actor at the New York Film Festival premiere of his movie, Marty Supreme. Kylie was backstage with Chalamet and other cast and crew just before they surprised the festival crowd on stage to introduce the movie. Afterward, the couple celebrated at the afterparty at Waverly Inn, where they sat in a booth together with friends for most of the night, looking warmly affectionate and happy, an onlooker told PEOPLE at the time.

I remember when Chalamet was shooting Marty Supreme in and around New York, and we found out in a roundabout way that Kylie rented a place in New York and she was there constantly. I would also assume that she quietly flies to Timothee’s location shoots too, but probably just for short visits. Anyway, I also think they’re fine. There are break-up rumors every other month, but the longer this goes on, the more I believe in them. They’re a cute couple, actually.
