People: ‘There’s no truth to the split rumors’ about Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton

Just before Thanksgiving, rumors were heavily circulating about the state of Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s marriage. They got together in 2016, months after she filed for divorce from Gavin Rossdale. Blake and Gwen have been together ever since, and they married in 2021. They’ve always seemed really happy with each other, and Gwen has said in interviews that she sees herself as a very traditional wife and mother, which I think Blake loves – he loves that she’s so traditional and family-oriented. Basically, I didn’t put much stock in the divorce rumors. But those rumors really bugged Gwen and Blake, which is why they’re still trying to prove that their marriage is NOT on the rocks. People Mag had an exclusive:

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are heading into the holiday season as a united front — despite rumors suggesting otherwise. Shelton, 49, and Stefani, 56, are winding down from a busy 2025 together and will support each other through an even busier 2026, a Stefani source tells PEOPLE, squashing reports that the couple’s relationship has been strained.

“There is no truth to the split rumors. They’ve just been juggling demanding schedules,” the source says. “When they are together, it’s just so obvious how solid they are.”

After leaving The Voice in 2023 after nearly two dozen seasons, country star Shelton released his 13th studio album, For Recreational Use Only, in May. He also executive-produced and starred in the CBS singing competition The Road. And in August he announced that he’s heading to Las Vegas in January for eight nights at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace — the same venue he hosted a six-show residency in February.

Stefani, meanwhile, released a deluxe version of her album Bouquet in March and recently announced that her band No Doubt will play six shows at the Sphere in Las Vegas this coming May.

“Sometimes they spend a lot of family time together and really treasure that, and then there are periods when the focus is more on work,” the source says. “They’re both at a place in their careers where they still genuinely enjoy what they do and they don’t want to give that up. Is it easy all the time? Of course not. They have a lot on their plates and a lot to balance, but that’s just how it is when you’re a family and both parents have careers. “

The pair are parents to Stefani’s sons Kingston, 19, Zuma, 17, and Apollo, 11, whose father is her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale.

Didn’t Gwen’s album bomb? I think that’s why she was interested in reuniting with No Doubt for a residency. Incidentally, check out the number of shows in their his-and-hers Vegas residencies – tell me America is in a recession without telling me America is in a recession. If casinos were flush with cash, they would be able to afford actual residencies longer than six or eight shows. Slate recently had an interesting piece about why Las Vegas’ economy is having such a downturn, and it was a great read. As for Gwen and Blake… I have two contradictory thoughts at once. One, they’re probably fine and they’re both super-committed to one another and even solid couples have work strains sometimes. Two, the reporting around the split rumors feels like the story might have legs.

There was never any truth to the rumors, they always pop up every couple of years and they always end up not being true. It doesn’t matter that her flipping album bombed, she’s worth over 200 million. She does what she wants and the music she wants. He’sabout close to getting his 31st number one country

Baffled anyone needs an explanation as to why Vegas is experiencing a downturn.
