Conrad Murray stopped CPR on Michael Jackson to get rid of evidence

Michael Jackson's doctor charged with involuntary manslaughter in Los Angeles
If there was any doubt that Michael Jackson’s physician, Conrad Murray, didn’t know that administering propofol was a crime, the new details revealed about what really happened at the time of the pop star’s death will remove it. According to an eye witness, Murray stopped administering CPR to Jackson to dispose of vials of the drug that was responsible for his death. Other chilling details: Jackson’s children, Prince and Paris, entered the room and saw their father dying.

According to bodyguard Alberto Alvarez (right), Dr. Murray stopped CPR and handed Alvarez drug vials and told him to put the vials in a bag.

Alvarez told investigators when he went into the room he saw an IV attached to Jackson’s leg. Also Jackson’s mouth and eyes were wide open and there was no sign of life.

According to the AP, Michael Jackson’s kids, Prince and Paris, entered the room and cried as they watched Dr. Murray administer mouth-to-mouth.

According to Alvarez, Dr. Murray took several vials and told Alvarez to put them in a plastic bag, then told Alvarez to put the plastic bag in a canvas bag. Alvarez also says Dr. Murray told him to remove the IV that contained a white milky substance (Propofol has this quality) in another canvas bag. Alvarez didn’t say where the bags went.

The report says, after Jackson was pronounced dead at UCLA Medical Center, Murray said he needed to go back to the mansion to get cream Jackson had “so the world wouldn’t find out about it.” The statement did not get more specific.

As TMZ first reported, Alvarez — who called 911 — told cops several months after Jackson’s death that Dr. Murray hid bottles of Propofol in a closet so family members and cops wouldn’t find them.

Sources connected with Dr. Murray’s defense say the doctor didn’t hide anything.

Meanwhile, Murray’s legal team is trying to cast aspersions on the L.A. prosecutors trying the involuntary manslaughter case, stating that they are deliberately withholding files. If anyone is withholding information, it’s not the prosecutors!

I’m not saying that CPR could have saved Jackson at that time. It sounds like he was already gone. But a doctor’s first priority is to try to revive the patient, even if the odds are against him. Clearly, Murray was looking to save his own ass. And just thinking about what those children saw that day is very upsetting.

Of course he was trying to save his own ass! He effed up catastrophically and I think his efforts to revive Jackson were probably half hearted… CPR on a bed instead of a hard surface, Really? Maybe Jackson was already well gone because Dr (and I use the title loosely) Conrad appears only to have pretended at the point witnesses were present. The only thing left to do was hide damning evidence.

  2. Sumodo1 says:

Michael’s kids saw him die? That’s new.

  3. Just a Poster says:

I hope this isn’t true. But I have a feeling this is.

How very sad that he could have been saved.

may MJ rest in peace, knowing his children are out of the public eye and history will honor him properly

  5. juiceinla says:

If MJ’s death could have been avoided, but for this monster’s inactions, crimes and malpractice, he better get the full weight of the law thrown at him, and it better stick.

  6. Shay says:

I heard in one story I think told by one of MJs brother that atleast one of the kids saw him as he was dying or dead on the bed.

Although the Dr was probably looking to save his own behind he was also looking out for Michael because the world didnt know he was a hard core drug addict until after he died. He was also protecting Michaels reputation. Michael trusted this man for a reason. Michael knew this man would protect his reputation and try and rid evidence that put him in bad light. Michael certainly didnt want people knowing he was addicted to drugs & doing them in a home w/ his 3 children.

People upset with Dr Murray are misplacing their anger. Sure what he did is wrong but without a patient he wouldnt be in business. Michael was an addict. Sad but true. He was a grown man who chose to do drugs, alot of them, while raising 3 children! Why isnt anyone pissed about that? I am!

I honor his death but if this was anyone else everyone would be saying he was a drug addict and bad parent & deserved to die.

  8. Kim says:

If it wasnt Dr Murray it would have been someone else. Michael had the means to pay whatever $ to get his fix. Drug addicts need to be held accountable for their choice to abuse drugs not their dealers. Are we all suing and trying to shut down McDonalds for the obesity and diabetes crisis in this country? No because we all have choices in life & need to be responsible for our actions and not play the blame game.

The “it could have been anybody” argument really irks me… The fact remains that you cannot charge theoretical people with theoretical crimes. That argument could be used to justify anything right? I mean hell, why punish murderers, we’re going to die anyway. The reality is that a SPECIFIC person broke the law even though it could have been, in theory, anybody who broke it. We’re all capable. Not saying that drug addicts don’t hold responsibility for their actions, but MJ is dead… that means he paid for his sins fully… No matter how you slice is, administering unnecessary drugs to a patient is ILLEGAL… it just is… and people need to be held accountable for it… end of story. There’s no need to infuse emotion into this, it’s illegal and that’s the jist of it. THE END.

  10. Shay says:

It doesn’t matter if it was another Dr. The bottom line is that this doctor abused his position and acted illegally. What if every doctor said no? That’s what they’re supposed to do. It’s not like the doctor was doing this for free either. The only difference between him and a drug dealer on the street is that Dr Conrad took an oath to protect his patients not help them kill themselves.

“First, do no harm” Yeah…this guy totally missed the whole nonmaleficence talk in med school. Unfortunately this kind of thing isn’t isolated. So many docs hook addicts up with drugs just because its easier to do than not.
