Jennifer Aniston’s tight white sheath dress: her best look in months?

wenn5452492

Yes, I know, there are a lot of Jennifer Aniston posts the past few days. But she’s on the European tour for Bounty Hunter, and she keeps wearing interesting/noteworthy/discussion-worthy outfits. For last night’s premiere in Berlin, she donned a beige, beaded one-shoulder cocktail dress that I found questionable (just for the color, the design itself was fine). On Sunday, it was the much-discussed hot pink Lacroix that many fashion experts hated. In between premieres, Aniston and Gerard Butler have been doing photocalls, and this is what Aniston chose for the Madrid photocall – a stunning white sheath dress that hugs her body really well.

wenn5452485

My guess for the designer (I could totally be wrong): Narciso Rodriguez. Great tailoring, great color for her tan and her honey-brown/blonde hair. And I swear, her hair is getting blonder throughout this European tour. This is my favorite outfit that she’s worn in a while. Aniston has the features and the figure for clean lines, great tailoring and colors that “pop”. Unlike some of the other outfits she’s worn, I expect this one to be beloved universally.

As for my beloved, the ass-groper Gerard, I don’t think all of the travel has been agreeing with him. Or maybe he’s just exhausted from of all of the ass-play. Or he could be jonzing for some strange. That’s what LaineyGossip thinks (of course, she refers to him as Spittle): “Spittle meanwhile needs a jolt. Of something. Forced to be on his best behavior for days, to put his douche on hold, he hasn’t slathered himself all over a random in much too long… Gerry’s itching to go home.” More like he just needs a good nap. With some hookers.

WOW in that first pic, her legs and feet look awful! So nasty-tan. I love Jen, and she’s gorgeous, but her hands and feet are starting to show her age.

All that tanning is going to do a lot of harm, her legs already have liver spots. She needs to stop all that tanning nonsense.

    @ Kate

I’m 23 years old and have the same veins Jen has! It doesn’t matter what age you are if you have veiny feet that’s just how it goes can’t change that especially if your wearing 4 inch heels. I love her outfit and she looks good, so does that delicious Gerry… I think they are both exhausted 3 tours in 3 days can be exhausting. And I have a feeling these 2 have got something going on, just don’t know what yet but it isn’t all PR. I guess we will see.

Love the dress. A plain white sheath dress looks good on just about everybody.

But puh-leeeeze, do something with that hair. Cut it, put it up, shave it off, but do something DIFFERENT with it.

And I’ll say it — I like the “salt” in his hair.
General physical (incl. AIDS test), bath/delousing, hair product, beard trim (NECK AND CHEEKS), and he can “oops!” me in public anytime.

EDIT: I liked it when the chick from What Not to Wear (Stacy London?) rocked her skunk stripe for a minute, so I’m not being sexist. Some people look good with grey (gray?).

    WOW! She looks absolutely amazing!
I dont get the comments about her hair. There are numerous actresses and models who have always had long hair. As well, stand in four inch heels and see how long it takes for your feet to get veiny.

I think that Jennifer would look good in a paper sack. She always looks so polished.

And to the people who keep making remarks about her hair. Perhaps she just likes it that way? I have had my hair at my shoulders for the last 4 years and enjoy it that length. Sometimes it really is just personal taste that keeps it at one level. Not everyone wants to chop and change all the time like Rihanna. Just saying.

Gorgeous dress and she fills it nicely. Her feet need some rest, those veins haven’t always been that prominent. Pro Tip: Evening slippers are in, as are flats. With that said, She’s playing with Whathisnames button in one of those shots. Body language 101 calls that familiarity, would you do that with a co-worker? Tho I keep hoping whatshisbucket didn’t really do that thing behind her back with his hand – ug, to me it looked like he was signing “I love you” … No really, go look. :)

She needs to ease up on the fake and bake esp on her legs =( All I see when i look at her it maintenance, maintenance and much more maintenance!

Its a full time job for her to look this “natural” from the fake tan to the hair color and cut which is a huge process to look “natural” from the fillers & botox & mult nose tweakings etc. Its just become obvious she isnt naturally pretty yet puts so much time & money into trying to fake people that she is just a natural looking girl next door. She should just go with her real natural look which was what she looked like when Friends first started and not now after so much surgery etc.

Yawn. Her again? I’ll be glad when she has finished promoting yet another formula romcom and goes back into obscurity. I think the studios are using her to promote new leading men, by the way. She is almost past her sell-by date and will probably not segue into serious acting parts for older women, as she has screwed up her career by only taking silly, fluff parts. She will be easily replaced in roles like that. I expect the memoir will be out in about five years as she has will gradually have more time to write it and will, at that point, be starved for attention.

  29. Scout says:

@ Janeth and Roma – Thank you! What you wrote is true – some people have veiny hands and feet just because ….nothing to do with age. But you know what really bugs me – statements like “she is really starting to show her age.” Like that is some kind of disgrace or failure! It happens to all of us – if we live long enough!

@Meow – I wondered if others thought the same thing I do about her acting…I just do not find her good at her chosen profession, either.

  30. Cheyenne says:

Fifteen years of bleaching and blow-drying is taking one helluva toll on her hair. It’s getting all thin and scraggly-looking.

If I were her hairdresser, I’d suggest she leave it completely alone for the next two or three years just to get it back to a healthy state.

Her skin is ruined beyond redemption from too much sun and too many cigarettes; no turning that around. But one good thing about hair is it grows, and within another couple of years she could have a great head of hair if she just lets it alone now.

Don’t like her in this dress.

Veiny feet and hands come from being really fit with low body fat and low blood pressure. Not a look you see very often, granted, but one I myself have proudly sported my whole life.

  32. Lilias says:

“More like he just needs a good nap. With some hookers.” HAHHHAHAHAHA!

Chalk up another veiny hand-and-foot person. I’ve got very bony feet and hands (though I’m a bit overweight everywhere else) and they’ve always been veiny-even in flats. Thanks for making me feel more self-conscious about my bony, veiny extremities.

I think the dress is nice-great for her figure. Her hair looks great-to me. The extra blonde around her face really accentuates her tan.

I agree with Rianna, not every likes to change their look all the time. The look works for her. Cher has had the same long black hair for 50 years. Meryl Streep has had the same mussed, dirty blonde look for 30-40 years. It’s a part of their look. Jennifer Aniston has a distinctive “look” and her look is California beachy blond.

Cheyenne, I’m not seeing where her skin is either ruined or orange to be honest. She is half greek and just spent a week in Mexico. She’s tan! Yeah, up close her skin shows it’s age, but is she still supposed to look 23? I like the fact she has eye crinkles.

I agree with you on her hair though. It really looks rough here.

Oh – and I like the Madrid dress – a lot! The shoes are a no go though.

Cheyenne: I personally think that “haters” are jealous. I really don’t believe that someone could put time and energy into someone who they “hate” so much without being jealous. Same goes for those who “hate” Angie. If the people who post nasty stuff on both of these womens posts are not jealous then what are they? And i really do believe that a good majority of people are “jealous” of all stars. That is why the fascination.

I just never have understood your fascination for Jennifer when you really don’t seem to like her. Why post at all. Just treat her like a “nobody”.

I really think that people are desperate when they start commenting on someone’s feet and the fact that their hair doesn’t change much. But then if that is all they have to complain about, then she must be a really good person. she does have a few things I want. Her money, her home, her body and her ability to travel with hunky guys. I think that everyone here would like those things.

She really does look great for her age. It will be really interesting to see where her career and her personal life take her in the next few years.

If you don’t have any fat in your feet (ok, it sounds stupid, but people DO have chubby feet) and you’re on your feet for any significant length of time (in heels, no less), you’ll have ‘veiny’ looking feet. That’s just the way it is. I’m not a fan of JA, but attacking the feet, people? Really?

I’ve noticed that people who do yoga several times a week end up with very veiny feet and hands. (One of my instructors even used the term “Yoga Feet.”) And if they do yoga even more than that, they get veiny and hard-looking in the face, too. I think Jen always looks good though, even when I’m not crazy about her choices (ie, pink dress).

Gerry looks like he’s either got the flu, food poisoning, or just let himself get dehydrated, which will make you feel queasy and nauseous when traveling.

LOL, honey brown/blonde hair? Jennifer hasn’t seen her natural hair color since 1993. She is a natural, Greek BRUNETTE and should look it. The reason for the “blonder” hair? It’s all that WHITE and GREY she’s trying to hide. Come on people! She is 41!

Jen is a generally pretty woman with a nice figure.
That said, she is a ONE NOTE actress, without much range or versatility.
Real actors are supposed to be chameleons & continually changing creatures to inhabit a role.
This woman has been looking & acting the same FOR YEARS…..
Female actors have some advantage (over men)in changing their hair to achieve some physical change, but NOOO, not her.
I find this strange, because to be honest & apart from what she’s been told in the past (like in Friends’ era), her hair is the ONE THING right now that is her WORST FEATURE in the condition & shape it is.
Also, she appears to be growing roots on her feet. So please go home now –& pick some fruit for your tropical drink.

  59. Lilias says:

Rockie: There are actually such people as “character actors”. These people play the same basic part their entire careers and make a living off of it.

Jennifer Aniston happens to be a “famous” character actress. The only reason why she’s as famous as she is was because of the messy divorce. Otherwise, she’d be just another romcom actress like Kate Hudson or Katherine Heigl.

There is nothing wrong with being “one-note” in that business. Some people make entire careers out of it. If you want to be a “purist” about actors and acting, only go to the theater. Because film and television is pure artifice and has nothing to do with good acting. It has everything to do with how many times you can say the same thing over and over until the director is cool with it.
