These are photos of one of my favorite little furry creatures, Ed Westwick, on the set of Gossip Girl yesterday. I’m assuming that this is his costume, but you can never really tell with Ed. He’s British and fabulous and this is totally the kind of ensemble he would come up with on his own. My guess is that the Gossip Girl costume department gave him this and he was the one to decide to keep that many buttons open. The man loves his moob-fur. And bless him, I like it too. Whenever I think about Ed Westwick and his moob fur, I swear, I think back to this cover:

And it never fails to make me laugh. THIS is why I love him so much. As for his acting… well, look at this:

POP THAT HIP, GIRL. That’s a pose that says “Bitch, I TOLD YOU.” Yet another reason to love him.

So really, why wouldn’t you go for it? It would be so much fun. Oh, and I hope Penn Badgley never wears these shorts ever again. Gross.

I don’t even have words for much I enjoy Ed Westwick. I actually squealed a little when I saw these new photos of him. He was at some hotel opening or something, and he decided to clothe his smarmy, furry fabulousness in a very loud, plaid suit.

I love his hair. All of it, from the hair on his head to his absolutely perfect five o’clock shadow (that he maintains beautifully, to the point where it would be easier to just simply SHAVE), to his furry chest, which is now under wraps. I love that Ed seems in on the joke – he’s British, he loves fashion, he’s furry, he’s fabulous, he pouts, he’s beautiful. He is impossible! I feel like writing him a poem. You know what? He would have done SO WELL in the 1980s. In the ‘80s, he would have been a major star. Can’t you see it? I can see it. Ed in a neon polo shirt, trash-talking a hat-wearing Molly Ringwald. SCENE!

Meanwhile, I don’t have words for how much I dislike Adrien Brody, who was at this same event. Look how douchey he seems! Ugh. He’s wearing the hat I envision on Molly Ringwald! He’s so gross. I just feel like he’s too smirky, too greasy, too… ick. How can “smarmy” in Ed Westwick be so erotic, and “smarmy” in Adrien Brody just be… gross?

It’s been a while since I’ve written about my love Ed Westwick. I don’t even watch Gossip Girl – but I’m just obsessed with him. He’s so pretty and fancy and dirty and sleazy. I love it. These are photos of Ed in London today, wearing some kind of buttony blouse/blazer combination. The boy dresses like a budget Jude Law. I love that about him too. He looks really short in these photos – how tall is he? Let me look it up. He’s five foot eight. SHORT. Damn. That’s like Tom Cruise shortness. Anyway, while in London, Ed has been doing press for… Gossip Girl, I guess. And maybe for his new film, Chalet Girl. You can tell that he really thinks highly of himself from these interview excerpts:

‘Gossip Girl’ heartthrob Ed Westwick says he isn’t looking for love at the moment because he is concentrating on his career. He says his busy career stops him from finding love. The ‘Gossip Girl’ star – who has previously dated his co-stars Jessica Szohr and Leighton Meester – insists he is happy to not be in a relationship at the moment because he is prioritising his professional life over everything else.

When asked if he was looking for love by British talk show host Lorraine Kelly on her breakfast TV programme ‘Lorraine’, he said: “No, I’m focusing on my career actually. It takes up a lot of time and commitment.”

When he isn’t working, Ed – who stars in new comedy movie ‘Chalet Girl’ – likes to forget about acting by playing the guitar. However, he likes to strum his instrument at unusual times of the day – something he believes upsets his neighbours.

When quizzed about his passion for music by Lorraine, he said: “I’m not in a band, I’m now just a brilliant solo artist … I’ve got this fantastic guitar I bought not long ago which is a 1957 Les Paul Junior, I’ve got this tube amp from 1952 as well, so I annoy my neighbours in my apartment building by blaring music out at 4 o’clock in the morning.”

In another interview, Ed discussed his relationship with the actress JESSICA SZHOR, claiming that it ‘blossomed’ and then ‘wilted’. In an interview with Tatler Magazine, Westwick said his breakup from Szohr had left him “kind of on a warpath”. The couple reportedly split back in April 2010, and Westwick said, “Everyone’s dated each other, and then broken up, or whatever. It’s natural that romance would blossom. Blossom and then wilt. The wickedness of women! The heartbreakers, God damn them. I’ve learnt. And I feel stronger and wiser”.

In yet another interview, Ed spoke about love, saying: “It’s incredible, it’s intoxicating. To fall in love with someone at first sight is fine, but in order to have a working relationship you need to realise that love is just one thing in a whole relationship.”

The 23-year-old star has previously revealed he has a crush on singer Cheryl Cole, but he now believes too many men are interested in the British star – who has been romantically linked with Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am and dancer Derek Hough since splitting from now ex-husband Ashley Cole last year – and thinks she may need some time away from the spotlight.

He told Britain’s Cosmopolitan magazine: “Everyone is obsessed with her right now so it’s freaking me out. I think she needs to chill out, disappear and give me a call.”

Discussing his dating style, the handsome star reveals he likes to be confident but not cocky.

He said: “You have to have a degree of confidence. I’m not uber-confident in that respect, but if you like someone you’ve got to go for it because if you don’t ask, you’ll never know.”

The British actor is best known for playing ‘Chuck Bass’ on Gossip Girl, however, Westwick has revealed his desire to move on and play different roles, he said, “To be completely honest, I’m ready to do something else. Really ready to do something else”.

What would become of him if he left Gossip Girl? You never know with the British actors. If he was American, I would say that Gossip Girl would be as good as it gets, but considering the quality of British programming, if Ed left Gossip Girl, he might have a fighting chance at more career success elsewhere. You never know. Ooh, he also has a small part in the J. Edgar Hoover bio-pic starring Armie Hammer and Leo DiCaprio! Good for him.

Several months ago, there was a truly scandalous story about my lover Ed Westwick and his girlfriend Jessica Szohr. Long story short, Ed discovered that Jessica was boning one (or more) of his friends, and Ed dumped her ass. Jessica allegedly apologized and cried, claiming that it was all lies, but Ed held his furry ground and stayed away from her. He spent the next several months hooking up with the ladies (alas, he didn’t find his furry way to me). I’d been reading the odd report here and there that he and Jessica were still talking, and that she was still itching to reunite, and now it seems he’s finally taken her back! Ah, young, furry love:

The “Gossip Girl” co-stars – and former couple – have apparently reunited since their dramatic split in April. At the time, sources told the News’ Gatecrasher column that Westwick was devastated after learning Szohr had been seeing a gaggle of guys behind his back.

The pair, who began dating in 2008, went their separate ways during their time off from work and recently reconnected after reporting back to the “Gossip Girl” set in July.

On Friday, Westwick and Szohr were spotted acting flirty while they checked into the Hard Rock Hotel together in Chicago, an eyewitness tells the Daily News.

The on-again couple traveled to the Windy City to attend the Lollapalooza music festival. According to E! Online, the pair also engaged in some PDA while hanging out at the hotel’s Cabo Wabo tequila lounge.

“They were taking shots,” a source said. “They’re definitely a couple. They were kissing and holding hands.”

Westwick, 23, and Szohr, 25, also reportedly checked out The Strokes concert together on Friday night, as well as the after-party for The Black Keys at Crimson Lounge in the Sax Hotel.

“They went straight to the VIP area and asked for no photos to be taken,” a source told E! “They held court at the very back of the room so no one could see them.”

Then he dumped her ass again! Oh, sweet Westwick.

Ed Westwick’s romance with his “Gossip Girl” co-star Jessica Szohr is definitely over. He was overheard telling a group of pretty girls he and Szohr were “no longer together” while catching the Kings of Leon concert at the Borgata in Atlantic City Saturday.

A spy said, “Ed was dancing with a swarm of girls around him, and he was telling everyone he was single. He carried on the party later with Kings bassist Jared Followill.”

Well, I’m glad to see Westwick is back on the market. It will be fun to see who his next girlfriend is – I bet it’s someone good. Part of my affection for Ed might be that that I think he loves going downtown, much like Justin Long. Some men just have that kind of face, you know? More juicy news from the Gossip Girl cast! Ed Westwick isn’t the only one calling it dunzo on his relationship – OK Mag is reporting that Leighton Meester has dumped her boyfriend Stebastian Stan, best known (to me) as that creepy dude/prince from that canceled show Kings. I’m proud of my girl Leighton for being the dumper! According to OK, she was all “I don’t do relationships, bitches.” And Sebastian was all “yes, please.” Or something. Look at this photo of Leighton and Sebastian… she’s like, “I am so over this bitch.”

It seems that one of Gossip Girl’s many real-life romances is over: Leighton Meester and her boyfriend (and sometime co-star) Sebastian Stan have split, a friend of the actress-musician tells OK!.

So why the split now, when things seemed to be going so well? Leighton called it quits, because she “doesn’t know how to be in a relationship and doesn’t really like them,” explains the insider.

And since Leighton was the one doing the dumping, Sebastian isn’t taking it too well, with our source saying he’s “heartbroken” by Leighton’s decision to end the relationship.

Leighton’s reps have not responded to OK!’s request for comment yet.

So the question is now “Will Ed and Leighton make sweet love?” I know you think he’s gay. I don’t. We disagree. Give me this. Leighton and Ed, together, doing kinky foot sh-t. So now he can be all mine? Probably not. Ed Westwick is probably going to drown his sorrows in call girls and rent boys, equally. Because I just get that vibe from him. Anyway, Westwick has become the victim of a Gatecrasher piece that paints him in a horrible light. Gatecrasher basically claims that Westwick is so arrogant, he had a hissy fit at a restaurant when another patron was taking photos… of someone other than Westwick. According to the patron, Westwick “came over and was like, ‘Stop taking my picture!’ He started shouting obscenities at me and getting in my face. He was all bitter and sh-t.” My Westwick? Oh noes!

Hey there, upper East Siders: We hear that “Gossip Girl” guy Ed Westwick can’t quite keep his cool. A patron at LES hot spot Los Feliz is claiming that the Brit became extremely heated during a recent night out after deciding that his dinner was being disturbed. And what was the cause of the distraction? The fellow diner says he was merely taking photos — at his own table.

“Ed came over and was like, ‘Stop taking my picture!’” says the snapper, who insists he initially didn’t even know who “Chuck Bass” was and was simply trying to capture memories of his own evening.

“He started shouting obscenities at me and getting in my face. He was all bitter and s—. I thought it was a joke.”

But it most certainly wasn’t: The amateur cameraman soon realized just how angry Westwick was (“He walked off in a cloud of disgust,” he says), but decided he wasn’t going to take the insult sitting down.

“I went over to him and asked him who he thought he was, and he dissolved into a fit of rage,” says the man, who continued taking pictures of his party.

Soon after, he says he was approached by the manager of the restaurant, who told him he had to leave at Ed’s request.

“Ed was snickering in the corner, because the people he was with had told the staff that I was paparazzi,” says the man. “So I paid my bill, and I left.”

A rep for Westwick admits that Ed has dined at the eatery, but insists that “there was no altercation.”

Still, this isn’t the first time the CW heartthrob has been labeled a hothead — he was reportedly involved in a bar fight with fellow British actor Toby Hemingway at L.A. cantina El Guapo last summer.

Ed’s co-star Chace Crawford supposedly broke up the brawl.

Later, Westwick’s rep denied that altercation, too, adding that Ed and Toby had been friendly since the party.

But those who have worked with the Brit say he has been known to lose his temper.
“He’s been perceived to be like his on-screen Chuck Bass character in real life,” says a snitch who has worked with him. “He does what he wants.”

Yeah, I totally believe this happened. And I totally believe Westwick is a big bitch, bless his heart. I mean, it totally sucks for the dude who got kicked out, and it totally sucks that Westwick is so arrogant and moody and intemperate, but what do you expect? He’s Ed Westwick! Seriously, he should take it down a notch. DIVA!

Okay, I don’t even know what Ed Westwick is promoting for his cover interview in Arena Homme Magazine. Probably Gossip Girl. Who knows or cares? Especially when we have this epic cover to analyze. First off, it appears that this cover shot was done before Ed got those fug tattoos a few weeks ago. On one arm, he got a naked lady. On the other, he got a damn feather! CoverAwards analyzed Ed’s visible tattoos on the cover shot, and they claim he’s got “Heartbreak Hotel” tattooed on his chest, “21 Grams,” “Love Me Two Times,” “I Heart Romance” on his forearm and “You Make Me Feel Like the One” across his shoulder.

I sent the link of the cover to Jaybird yesterday, and we riffed on all that is happening here. I might have started out by posing the eternal question, “Ed Westwick is gay, right?” But Jaybird came out with the best quote about it, in my opinion – she asked “Is it me or does he look busty? I feel like if it were a full body shot, we’d see that he’s also wearing a waist cincher.” Later, Jaybird confessed, “Chesty maybe? I can’t decide if he’s busty or chesty. But if this were a woman I’d know how to feel.”

I tend to think that Ed’s rampant chest fur is adding to the moobs illusion. The fur, and his “what is happening to my ass?” posture. The expression on his face, and what was happening to his ass was something that Jaybird and I contemplated quite seriously:

Jaybird: All I know is I feel like I shouldn’t be looking at it, for a variety of reasons. And pasties would go really well with that look on his face.
Kaiser: It honestly looks like… and I’m not trying to be gross… it looks like someone is doing something to his ass. And Ed doesn’t quite know how to feel about it.
Jaybird: I think the problem is he’s fine with it, but trying to make it look like he isn’t.
Kaiser: Oh. my. god. You have to stop. I have tears streaming down my face I’m laughing so hard.
Jaybird: Doesn’t that look like his expression though? It’s like he’s doing his best cheesy Gossip Girl acting to cover up. I’m calling you out Ed!
Kaiser: Yes! You’re right – he looks like he’s secretly enjoying whatever’s happening to or with his ass, but he’s trying to put on his “serious heterosexual” face.
Jaybird: It’s like he was going for nonchalance but accidentally ended up giving it all away. I think this is exactly what gay James Dean would look like. Actually, I’ll bet you anything that’s who he was imagining.
Kaiser: No, he was remembering how much fun he and Chace Crawford had when they were “roommates”.

Now, maybe it’s wrong to judge a person’s sexuality on one magazine cover. If it’s wrong, then I don’t want to be right. I also want to thank Ed for giving me the best laugh I’ve had all week – seriously, thank you, Ed. I needed this.

Ed Westwick, star of Gossip Girl, has gotten himself some of the fugliest tattoos I’ve ever seen. On his left bicep, Ed got a large black feather – just one feather. I don’t really understand what the feather is supposed to reference – maybe Westwick has a feather fetish. Does he like to work the feather, or does he like the feather to be worked on him? Is the feather a reference to olden days, like Westwick misses the days of quill pens? Or is Westwick just an everyday feather-fancier? He wouldn’t be alone.

The second tattoo is on his right bicep – it shows a half-naked redhead with extremely perky breasts in some kind of cheap pinup-pose. Gee, that convinces me Ed! Now I totally buy that you’re straight, now that you have a half-naked woman on your arm! Honestly, I bought that Ed was straight before the tattoos, and now my gaydar doesn’t know what to think. It’s Ed’s British accent that throws me… I think he’s probably straight, but pretty smarmy about girls and sex. Maybe he hates women? I don’t know. But I know that he’ll totally regret these tattoos. The fug is hurting my eyes.
