The Empire Awards were held last night in London, and some interesting people came out. I’ll be covering the (hot) dudes from the ceremony in a moment, I just wanted to talk about some of the girls right now. I suppose Keira Knightley was the closest thing to A-list at the show, and she looked like she knew it too. That’s what her face says to me “I can’t believe I’m here, I’m so ABOVE this.” Of course, her face also says to me “I need to detox and eat something” so maybe I’m just reading too much into faces this morning. The dress is Rodarte Fall 2011 RTW collection – I’m having difficulties seeing beyond the unflattering beige to actually look at the design of this thing. All in all, it’s not the worst thing Keira’s ever worn, but it’s not really good, either. And her face! Yikes. Do you remember how fresh and pretty Keira used to look? Don’t even try to pull the “She looks the same!” card. This girl is dealing with something that is harming her physically.

Next: Lily Cole. When we last heard from Lily, she was boning David Gandy. For real. And when I put up some recent photos of her, her defenders were all “You picked the worst photos! She’s prettier than that!!” Um, really? This is how she chose to present herself at the Empire Awards. Yellow Prada, headband, vague expression. And this is Gandy’s type? Ugh.

And lastly, my favorite – Noomi Rapace! She’s the original Lisbeth Salander in the Swedish adaptations of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and the other two books. I love Noomi, and I love how pretty and girly she is in real life. I like her little black dress!

Ugh, I do NOT understand this Lily Cole chick. I never even really understood why she was considered a “model”. Like, I know her name. She’s a “model” with name recognition. How did that happen? And to make matters worse, she’s now a “model/actress” who dates A-list men. The hell?

Perhaps I’m just pissed because the last man she was allegedly dating was none other than my beloved David Gandy. About a month ago, Gandy and Cole allegedly had a tryst at the new W Hotel in London, and there were rumors that the hookup wasn’t even just for one night. But now, according to The Mail, Lily is rubbing her ginger kewpie-face on someone else out of her league… Jude Law! Jude and Lily actually dated before, briefly, a few years ago. And they’re allegedly revisiting their old flame.

His decision to rekindle his romance with Sienna Miller ended in failure. But that hasn’t deterred Jude Law from reuniting with another old flame. Just weeks after splitting from actress Miss Miller, Law has been linked with his former girlfriend, Lily Cole.

The 38-year-old actor was spotted with the 22-year-old model at controversial London nightclub The Box last week, leading to speculation that they are an item again after dating for several weeks in 2008.

An onlooker at The Box, the Soho venue notorious for its semi-naked dancers, sexually explicit cabaret acts and claims of drug taking, said: ‘Jude and Lily were at a table kissing and being very flirtatious. It was clear they were comfortable with each other.’

Law, a father of four, split from 29-year-old Miss Miller last month. The news came as a shock to many who had thought the couple may have been preparing to marry. They had begun dating in 2003 – the year in which Law divorced actress Sadie Frost – after meeting on the set of the film Alfie.

Law and Miss Miller became engaged, however they called it off in July 2005 after he confessed to an affair with his children’s former nanny, Daisy Wright.

Miss Cole, who is studying history of art at Cambridge University, split from her actor boyfriend Enrique Murciano last month after two years together. She was then linked to model David Gandy.

I actually approve of this more than the Gandy stuff. Gandy seems like he wants a girlfriend (really, I’m being serious), while Jude just seems like he’s up for whatever random hookup he can get. Hopefully, this Jude-Lily union is just a random thing, but even if it isn’t and it is more serious, I’m guessing that it will still drive Sienna Miller crazy, and that’s always fun to watch.

Last thing: Lily has, like, crazy long arms, right? And weird hands. Ugh. Just stay away from Gandy, for the love of God.

20 year-old cherub-faced model Lily Cole was seen leaving Jude Law’s apartment wearing what looked like one of the actor’s jackets on an afternoon after the 35 year-old actor had already left for a flight earlier in the morning. The two have been seen out to dinner and to a Radiohead concert together and it’s presumed that they’ve been dating.

First they attended a Radiohead concert in Victoria Park, Hackney, East London.

Then Law, 35, took the flame-haired model, 20, for a meal in Covent Garden, followed by a trip to the theatre.

They obviously hadn’t run out of things to talk about, for she went home with him, and did not emerge from his Maida Vale flat until the next afternoon.

Bare-legged and dishevelled, she walked to her car parked nearby and drove home. Law had emerged earlier in the morning to catch a flight to Los Angeles for a wedding.

Radiohead played Victoria Park in London on June 24 and 25, so they’ve probably gone on a few dates since. 20 and 35 isn’t that much of an age difference and Lily and Jude are both single. The Daily Mail has a photo of them standing right in the crowd at the Radiohead show. Good good for them for having excellent taste in music and not demanding star treatment.

Cole will attend Cambridge University this October, and it’s likely her relationship with Law will end up on the back burner as she meets new people and maybe focuses on her studies. In the mean time they’re both enjoying a summer romance. Thank goodness Law didn’t spend any more time with Kimberly Stewart. That girl seems like a skank of the highest order.
