Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green, who have been Hollywood’s “who cares?” on and off couple for a few years now, are taking their relationship to the next level. Megan had previously been living in Brian’s apartment, and was seen moving out during a recent low point in their relationship. But now that they are back together, they have decided to purchase a beach view apartment together in Santa Monica.

The ‘Transformers’ actress has fuelled rumours she has reconciled with ‘Beverly Hills, 90210′ actor Brian after they were spotted looking at apartments in California’s Santa Monica area.

A source said: “Megan wanted great ocean views because she loves the beach and spotting dolphins. And they said they needed several bedrooms and lots of privacy.”

Although the couple are back together, Megan wasn’t wearing her engagement ring while viewing properties.

The 22-year-old actress split from Brian, 35, in February amid reports their three-year relationship had “run its course”.

Just days later they reconciled after deciding they couldn’t be apart.

The couple is reportedly going to counseling to get through their rough patch, and I’m not sure if buying a place together is the best move when you’re unsure about your relationship. The fact that she wasn’t wearing her engagement ring while looking at properties says something. But maybe the place is really Megan’s, and Brian will just have sleepovers there.

On a related note, Megan has expressed her desire to become a more serious actress (though who can take her seriously after the Transformer movies)?

“You can’t be a sex symbol 24 hours a day. I can’t be a professional celebrity or a professional sexpot. I can’t do that to myself.

“I just want to work and make the right choices, and study and develop as an actress.”

This is a fabulous list, considering the sexiest woman lists are usually dominated by 20 year olds with big boobies. While all the women are attractive – sexy, even – they aren’t the usual fodder dished up in lad’s mags. Jennifer Aniston is 40 years old, Megan Fox is unconventional in her appearance, Gisele Bundchen is a supermodel but at least she’s got some curves! Frieda Pinto is Indian, and usually these lists are dominated by caucasians.

These woman are also very sexy, but the eldest is 34. They don’t exactly cover a wide spectrum of beauty. They are all perfect examples of Hollywood hotness – not that there’s anything wrong with that – but it’s nice to see a few new names on the list. On the 2008 Maxim list Jennifer Aniston didn’t make the top 100, neither did Kim Kardashian, Gisele Bundchen or Freida Pinto (who was unknown at the time).

It’s also nice to finally have a story about Jennifer Ansiton that isn’t a ‘poor dumped Jen with no babies’ tale.

When Megan Fox became the love interest in the Transformers franchise, she was engaged to fellow actor Brian Austin Green, a small time TV star (appearances on Baywatch and Melrose place fill his IMDB page). But as soon as she hit the big time, there was speculation over how much longer their 4-year relationship would last. There was a recent rumor that they called it off, which was surprising because the day after the “news” broke, Megan slept over at Brian’s house and visited his elementary-age son at his school. Now it’s been revealed that they simply hit a rough patch – like most relationships do – and have entered couple’s counseling.

But in every long-term relationship, people go through ups and downs.” Indeed, though they were rumored to have ended their two-year engagement in February, Megan, 22, and Brian, 35, seem to be sticking to their regular routine: This week, the Transformers star took Brian’s 6-year-old son, Kassius, to school as she normally does, and the pair were also seen holding hands in public. “These two are very much in love and plan to be together for a long time,” says a friend. I’m not gonna lie – Megan Fox is smokin’. She could probably have any guy in Hollywood, starting first and foremost with her Transformers costar Shia LeBeouf. The fact that she and Brian have stayed together so long says something very positive about both of them. A break up and subsequent rebound relationships would keep her in the press, which would be important for her career. But instead she is intent on keeping her life just as it was before she got famous. You’ve got to give her some respect for that.

Men around the world did the Happy Dance when it broke last week that “Transformers” star Megan Fox had called off her engagement to David Silver, aka Brian Austin Green. But since then, Fox has been seen with Green and even went to his son’s elementary school to visit just days after the alleged split. Green and Fox were photographed together as recently as yesterday, prompting the question: are they or aren’t they?

That’s been the big question since last week’s report that the couple had split. Megan, who’d been living at her fiancé’s house up until then, may have checked into a hotel in West Hollywood on Friday, but she was also seen leaving Brian’s house the morning prior.

And now we have two new sightings of the duo shopping together…

On Monday night, the twosome were spotted stocking up on groceries at Bristol Farms in West Hollywood.
“They just seemed like a normal couple,” says an onlooker. “They weren’t holding hands or anything…She was just sort of following him around.”

Then just yesterday, Meg and Brian hit up Indigo furniture store in the Valley before they headed back to his house together.

Megan’s rep had no comment on the supposed split, but now we’re wondering: Did they ever broke up in the first place?

“Transformers” sexpot Megan Fox and her fiance, Brian Austin Green (better known as David Silver, the rapper wannabe on “Beverly Hills 90210″) have split, according to Us Weekly. Breakup rumors began rumbling late last year, when Megan and Brian were spotted having arguments in public, Megan stopped wearing her engagement ring and also attended a handful of events with no date. Most notably, Megan presented at the Golden Globes and walked the red carpet solo. When she was asked about Brian, she seemed irritated. Both Fox and Green are citing that age-old Hollywood relationship killer: their respective careers.

“The relationship had run its course,” an insider tells Us exclusively. “It’s completely amicable, and they are remaining friends.”

Fox, 22 (who’ll reprise her role as Mikaela in this June’s sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen), and Green, 35 (a regular on Fox’s Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles), now “are both focusing on their careers,” the source adds.

The couple — who have tattoos of each other’s names — met in 2004 and, as Us first reported, got engaged in November 2006.

Last November, Fox told Us that the wedding plans were still on.

“It’s not going to be a big wedding,” she told Us at a GQ bash. “I’m not one of those girls. If it happens, it will be very low-key and quick and unplanned.”

What does she mean, “One of those girls?” One of those girls who has a big wedding? Or, is she one of “those girls” who drops her less-famous fiancee just as her career is heating up? Well, if I’d known they had tattoos of each other’s names, I would have predicted this a long time ago! Everyone knows that’s the kiss of death. Well, that, along with the fact that Megan is about to be a huge star and is plastered on the cover of every men’s magazine in the universe, while poor David Silver is the answer to a 90′s trivia question and his TV show is about to be canceled for low ratings. It’s kind of like “A Star is Born,” only instead of Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson, it’s an Angelina Jolie wanna-be and a guy famous for deflowering Donna Martin. It is kind of sad, though. Brian Austin Green is probably the last “regular guy” Megan Fox is going to date. And by regular guy, I mean “decent looking has-been with a recurring role on a Fox TV show.” From here on in, she’ll be hanging off the arm of rock stars, directors and pretty boys. Mark my words.

It looks like Angelina Jolie wanna-be Megan Fox will not be taking over the “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider” franchise after all. Multiple sources, including Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, are confirming that Fox hasn’t been offered anything and her shooting schedule may not even allow her the time to do this film if she is offered the role. Currently, Fox is shooting the “Transformers” sequel. The “Tomb Raider” reboot is reportedly still in the very early stages of production – so expect a lot more rumors as time goes on.

MEGAN FOX is determined not to be hailed as the next ANGELINA JOLIE – she has side-stepped a role as gun-toting movie tough girl LARA CROFT. Industry insiders tipped the Transformers beauty to replace Jolie as the sexy action heroine in the next outing of the franchise, adapted from the popular video game.

But Fox’s representative is adamant the actress won’t be stepping into Jolie’s boots.

A spokesperson for the star says, “Megan is not involved in this movie.”

Plans for the third film – a follow-up to 2001′s Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and 2003′s Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life – are still going forward as producers cast a new villain and love interest, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

I’m wondering why there needs to be another “Lara Croft” movie. Neither of the first two were all that great. It would be a huge mistake for Megan Fox to set herself up in Jolie’s footsteps. There have already been so many comparisons between the two, based on their looks and tendencies to overshare in interviews. Better for Fox to find her own unique identity as an actress at this early stage in her career. Besides, even on his best day, Brian Austin Green can’t touch Brad Pitt.

British tabloids are reporting that action heroine Lara Croft is about to get her third film. The first two Lara Croft films starred Angelina Jolie, but Jolie is reportedly not being considered for the latest installment. Instead, producers are looking at Jolie-look-alike Megan Fox. Even though it’s not being reported, I remember Angelina saying several years ago that she had no interest in returning to the Lara Croft character, though I can’t find the quote now. Instead, the tabloids are making it sound as if Angelina 1.0 is being replaced against her will by Angelina 2.0. UK’s Metro has more details.

Megan Fox is being considered to take over the Tomb Raider franchise from Angelina Jolie, according to new rumours. Insiders have claimed that the stunning brunette is a “strong candidate” for the role of the sexy action heroine.

The two Tomb Raider films were panned but both were solid moneymakers, which could explain why Paramount are keen to make a third one. Jolie played an English archaeologist in search of ancient treasures – kind of like a female Indiana Jones.

The first film Lara Croft: Tomb Raider debuted at number one with $48.2 million in 2001 and is the most successful video game adaptation to date, grossing $300 million worldwide.

The sequel Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life didn’t fare as well but made a decent profit internationally. Jolie was awarded a Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Actress for her performance in the films and critics queued up to savage her acting.

Brian Mckay from eFilmCritic.com said: “Like her gaming counterpart, she’s all pretty eye candy without much of a soul or even an interesting personality.”

There’s been no official word yet from the studio on the possibility of another film based on the video popular game series.

Fox, 22, has already proved her action credentials in the live-action adaptation of Transformers. She will also be appearing in the sequel, which is released in the UK on June 26.

I’ll probably get in trouble with film aficionados, but I really enjoyed both Tomb Raider films. They’re fun, silly and the action sequences are half-decent. Plus, it’s always a bonus when a woman is helming the multi-million dollar action film, rather than some grunting man with a sidekick damsel in distress who just runs around, begging to be rescued. La Jolie pulled off her task as Lara Croft with aplomb, but I doubt Megan Fox will be able to do the same. She just doesn’t have Angelina’s… well, anything. Fox is pretty enough, but we’ve already seen the original.

Megan Fox got invited to the adults’ table for the Golden Globes, and she sort of blew it. Clad in a too-tight, sequined, gold dress, Fox seemed a little drunk or off-kilter during her presenting duties and her red carpet interviews. She came off like a very insecure girl with a lot of issues. Which is probably the truth, so I at least have to give her credit for not “acting” her way through the interviews. Perhaps she was feeling so insecure because her long-time boyfriend, Beverly Hills 90210 (classic, not new) alum Brian Austin Green wasn’t there to hold her hand.

Megan Fox is probably one of young Hollywood’s most beautiful actresses–and yet she’s the only one who doesn’t seem to know it.

“I’m a tranny. I’m a man,” Fox joked to E!‘s Giulianna Rancic on the red carpet of Sunday night’s Golden Globe Awards. “I’m painfully insecure, like I’m on the verge of vomiting right now, I’m so horrified that I’m here, and embarrassed, I’m scared.”

The Transformers star didn’t stop there! Fox, 22, kept watching the monitor on the red carpet and admired more than a few of her favorite actresses.

“I love that you’re looking at Salma Hayek,” Rancic told the actress, who replied, “I want her boobs! Those are the most amazing boobs. Perfect.”

Noticeably absent from Fox’s side was her long time beau, Brian Austin Green.

“He doesn’t want to be here,” she explained. “You know, he doesn’t want to be my date. He’s a man. He has an ego.”

This was Megan’s first trip to the Golden Globes and, when asked about her diet regime in preparation for the big night, she held nothing back.

“Well, I do have a 22 inch waist, I will say that. But, I basically starve myself for a month. I’m kidding, I did a lot of pilates. An immense amount of pilates.”

Okay, so I’m not a card-carrying member of The Megan Fox Fan Club, but even I acknowledge that Fox is *way* better than Brian Austin Green. He should be begging to escort her places. He should be thanking God for every day he gets to spend with a girl so out of league. So what’s with his attitude? Does he think he’s too good to escort his girlfriend to the Golden Globes? Megan Fox’s first boyfriend from her hometown of Port St. Lucie, Florida, told News of The World about his teenage romance with Fox, 22, before she moved to Hollywood to become a big star. It’s a typical first love kind of story, with Fox sneaking out to see him and asking him to move to LA with her.

According to Ben Leahy, a 24 year-old firefighter in Vero Beach, Florida, he dated Megan for three years until she moved away to pursue her dream of acting in 2003 at the age of 17. He said she was into fishing, surfing, and being one of the guys but that she also had a wild side and loved sexy times. According to Ben, he was the one who broke it off after Megan landed her first big part, but it sounds like they were over at that point anyway.

This is written in the sensational style that News of The World uses, but there aren’t many salacious details. Ben does say he finds Megan’s story that she had an affair with a Russian stripper named Nikita completely plausible, though, and said that Megan always had a thing for women, particularly Angelina Jolie:

“Megan loved looking at women’s bodies.

“She just had no inhibitions and made no bones about the fact she liked to fantasise about being with a woman.

“There were many times she would look at magazines for hours pointing out which actresses she thought were hot. Angelina Jolie was high up on her list.

While most girls are into make-up and shoes, Megan was just a total rebel who loved to hang out with the boys and luckily her favourite boy was me.

“Megan and I spent every minute together and she loved doing anything and everything with me. We used to go fishing and surfing, total boys things which Megan loved.

“We had some amazing nights laying under the stars. She would giggle and shriek with laughter knowing that while her parents were in bed she was outside doing all sorts with me.

“Which was totally up Megan’s street because she loved doing anything which was naughty.

“I was Megan’s first love and she was mine so those times were extra special as we were doing things together we had never done before.”

That story kind of humanizes oversexed Megan for me. She portrays herself as this wanton woman, but she’s been with her fiance, Brian Austin Green, for four years and despite breakup rumors they’re still going strong. Fox is generally said to be a pain in the ass, but Green has stuck with her and it sounds like she’s perfectly content with monogamy. She even said that she’d rather stay home and have sex with him than go out. I still think the Nikita stripper story is made up, though.

Last week, “Transformers” hottie Megan Fox got her male fans all in a cold sweat when she recounted her fling with a bisexual stripper. A newspaper reporter from Palm Beach, Florida, tracked down Megan’s mother in Vero Beach and asked her about her daughter. As you might imagine, poor mom was mortified, and she gave some humorous insight into Megan’s upbringing – she also spilled the beans on Megan’s status with her 90210-boyfriend, Brian Austin Green.

Darlene Tonachio, 56, happens to live in Vero Beach. She’s a real estate sales agent specializing in trailer parks, and she manages a retirement community near Naples.

“I love my daughter dearly,” said Tonachio who, believe it or not when you look at her picture, was made a grandma twice over by her other daughter. “But Megan is, well, Megan. She’s open and honest. She’s a real person, which is refreshing. I know she has a good sense of humor, and I take this interview in that context.

“Is it all true? I don’t know. It’s possible she made it up just like it’s possible that it happened. I doesn’t really matter to me.”

Which led to this question about Megan’s affinity for strip bars. Fox, a frequent dweller in diverse “Hot” lists, spreads around another story in LaLaLand. According to a source, Megan first walked into a bosom bazaar at age 16 when, as a junior at St. Lucie West Centennial High School, she and friends trekked south to Club Peekaboo in Lake Worth.

There, the story goes, precocious Megan delighted everyone with gyrations at the proverbial pole – while keeping on her clothes.

“I doubt that she did that while living with us,” said Mom, “The poor child was grounded most of her life. She’d be punished for something silly, and she’d mess up again before her grounding period was over. So we’d tack time on.”

Tonachio, meanwhile, said it feels “totally surreal” to be the mom of an actress often described as the next Angelina Jolie.

“As a mom, I look at Megan as my baby girl,” she said. “It’s hard to believe that other people look at her like in that way (as a sexpot).”

Tonachio explained Fox, known for her piercing baby blues, started getting attention from movie types while still at St. Lucie West. So, Tonachio decided to move the family to Los Angeles while Megan finished school through correspondence courses.

Mom returned to the Treasure Coast last year while Megan stayed behind, steaming up the big screen in 2007 when she first appeared in the blockbuster Transformers leaning into the engine of a Camaro.

“When I saw that scene at the premiere, I went ‘Wow,’ ” Tonachio recalled. “I knew that would bring her some attention. But I thought it’d be with boys 12 to 16. I didn’t realize that the age range would go from 5-year-olds to 45-year-old men.”

Speaking of dudes, Fox is hooked up with Brian Austin Green, one of the stars of the 1990s series Beverly Hills, 90210.

“Actually, they’re engaged,” says mom. “They don’t have a wedding date, but I like him. He’s a little bit older, but that brings Megan some stability.”

Aren’t moms totally embarrassing? If I were famous, I would not let my mother anywhere near the press. I am not at all surprised to hear that young Megan was grounded most of her childhood – she seems like the textbook bad girl troublemaker!
