InTouch: Octomom vs. Kate Gosselin “It’s war!”

intouchmonstermom
This week’s In Touch features Octomom Nadya Suleman facing off with reality star mom of multiples Kate Gosselin with the words “It’s War” and the quote that Kate is “desperate for attention.” That quote from Suleman was shown on her reality special that aired on Fox last week. We heard Suleman say that over two months ago, though, when the video of her ripping up Kate’s bikini picture was posted on Radar June 3rd. Surely if there was any feud between these two it started back when the video of Octomom going apeshit over Gosselin’s bikini body was first posted online and not when Fox re-aired that footage. They do have another detail to support this alleged feud. Suleman supposedly asked Gosselin to appear on her “documentary” and was ignored:

Kate Gosselin and Nadya Suleman have a lot in common. After having multiple children — eight for Kate and 14 for Nadya — they both have been thrust into the limelight, and they both face raising their brood of kids as single moms. But instead of bonding, the Octomom and the star of Jon & Kate Plus 8 are brawling. On August 19, during her two-hour documentary, Octomom: The Incredible Unseen Footage, Nadya ripped on Kate, calling her desperate for fame and saying her show is fake. “It’s so staged,” Nadya said while flipping through magazine pictures of Kate. “She’s doing it to get people to take pictures of her. I’m not as attention-seeking.” Nadya, who once ripped up photos of Kate in a bikini, also criticized Kate’s post-baby body, which was assisted by a televised tummy tuck estimated to cost $8,000, and insisted she’s the hotter mom. “I feel like it’s cheating,” Nadya sniffed. “I have a better shape, though. I’m sorry, no offense to her.”

Offense taken. According to an insider on Jon & Kate Plus 8, Kate is livid that Nadya insulted her on the special and believes that the Octomom is just out for revenge. “Nadya originally reached out to Kate and asked her to make a guest appearance on the documentary,” the insider reveals. “Kate didn’t turn down the offer, she just never responded, and that probably made Nadya upset.” Kate also believes that Nadya will continue to diss her on her upcoming reality show because she knows it makes headlines. “If Kate won’t appear on-camera, Nadya will just talk about her,” the insider explains. “Nadya is cunning and has more tricks up her sleeve. She’s going to go after both Kate and her estranged husband, Jon.”

[From In Touch Weekly, received via e-mail]

Kate will take the high road and ignore this crazy lady. In terms of In Touch’s question on the cover: “which monster mom is worse?” – there’s little doubt it’s Nadya. I didn’t watch her reality show, but I read a review which said that the end scene featured Suleman ignoring her eight crying newborns while placing props around them for a video shoot. She also regularly downplays all their mishaps and has had CPS called on her multiple times. Kate may be a bossy person, but she tries to do what’s best for the kids and the worst you can say about her is that she spanks them.

I don’t believe that Kate is at all broken up about Nadya freaking out over her. She seems like a well grounded person and she has other things to deal with now – like an estranged husband acting like he’s a freshman on spring break.

Octomom Nadya Suleman “documentary” is coming – to Fox

suleman1
The Fox Channel snapped up all the unseen footage from Radar Online’s sometimes-funny often-scary video interviews with Nadya Suleman. A two hour special featuring delusional Octomom and her 14 unfortunate kids will air on August 19. Instead of including voice-over narration, they’re wisely letting Nadya hang herself with her own conflicting overshares. Judging from the clip of the show available on E! Online, it looks like Nadya’s creepy interview over fondue features heavily. That’s when she admitted that the octuplets’ biological father was unaware that she was using embryos created from his sperm to get pregnant again this hopefully final time, saying things like “I feel so much guilt for that,” and “I live in denial. I blame myself,” but quickly deflecting responsibility for having eight at once. “How am I supposed to know more than one would grow?” she sniped, in a reference to all the blastocysts/embryos she had implanted. (She claimed she only had six implanted but some fertility experts say that it’s statistically impossible* that two would split while others say that it’s possible due to the fertility drugs she was taking. Given how often this woman lies, I would say that she had all eight implanted.)

suleman2
The NY Times’ Media Decoder has a good overview of the business decisions involved in this Octomom special. It looks like Fox bought the rights to the footage from Radar Online, and that this is a separate deal from whatever she’s filming for that British company to be made into the “documentary” she’s working on:

Using footage that begins shortly after Nadya Suleman, popularly known as “Octomom,” gave birth to octuplets in January, Fox Broadcasting will present a two-hour television special on Ms. Suleman, her children and family on Aug. 19, the network said Monday.

Fox bought the rights to broadcast the special from Pilgrim Films and Television, a reality-television production company that obtained the footage from RadarOnline.com, a Web publication that struck an early deal to film Ms. Suleman and her family.

The special could reignite debate over the well-being of the children and the media frenzy that surrounded their birth. Ms. Suleman has signed at least two television deals related to coverage of the birth and raising of the octuplets.

One of those deals, signed with RadarOnline and which forms the basis of the Fox special, resulted in citations alleging violations of California labor department regulations regarding the use of children in filmed entertainment. Ms. Suleman recently signed a second reality-television deal with a British producer, Eyeworks, and she is also the subject of ongoing litigation over the need for a court-appointed guardian to oversee the children’s finances.

Mike Darnell, the president for alternative entertainment at Fox Broadcasting, said in an interview that Fox wanted to do the special, which he said was “a documentary in its purest form,” because Ms. Suleman was “an incredibly compelling figure.”

[From NY Times]

suleman3
Give me a break on the “documentary” crap. The only reason Fox is issuing that statement is to placate Octomom, who has said multiple times that she’s so much better than Kate and Jon Gosselin because her shows will be “more documentary style, monitoring [her children’s growth and development,” and “more intellectual and educational, not so superficial.” I hope that’s the only provision Fox had to make for Suleman, and that she’s not getting paid a second time for the footage. I doubt that they have much more than Radar and I’d be surprised if they’re able to put any other angle on it.

In the Radar videos, Suleman ripped up Kate Gosselin’s bikini photos, got visibly jealous of Gosselin several times, fought with her mother on camera and admitted that she lied to her about every single one of her pregnancies – telling her mom they were “tumors,” got a tattoo featuring herself as an angel, and bragged about the size of her tongue. How are they going to spin that into anything but a portrait of a disturbed, narcissistic woman using the system, her family, and her children to fill her own sick needs? Maybe all they have to do is tell her it’s a documentary and that will be enough to show her in all her obnoxious, self-serving glory.

(*The issue of the six vs. eight implanted embryos was discussed in an earlier story we covered. The “statistically impossible” quote I heard on NPR in February and I’m sorry I don’t have a better source as it’s hard to google.)

Nadya Suleman’s mom still living in trashed home four months after the kids left

90710nc1_suleman_b-gr_01
In February, Radar Online posted a video featuring footage inside the three bedroom, one bath home that Octomom Nadya Suleman was sharing with her parents and six children at the time. (The octuplets were still in the hospital at that point.) The home was cluttered and messy, without much storage and with clothes and toys strewn around. It wasn’t awful, and it looked like you might expect for such a small space with so many young children.

The messy state of the home didn’t seem to matter much since it was in foreclosure and was on the brink of being auctioned off. I kind of assumed they would get their stuff, get out, and let the bank deal with the damage. Nadya moved to a 1/2 million dollar, 2,8000 square foot home in March. She told US Weekly that the fact that her parents’ home was being seized wasn’t her problem. She said “That’s up to my mom. She’s dealing with that.” Nadya lived with her parents and got free housing and childcare at least for a few months. (Reports vary, and Nadya claims she only lived with her parents while she was in the hospital, but the woman often lies through her teeth.) By many reports Nadya didn’t pay any household bills. The fact that she was moving out without trying to help save the home seemed callous to say the least.

Nadya’s mom Angela and her ex husband, Nadya’s dad Ed Doud, still live in that small bungalow in Wittier, California where they once cared for six grandchildren. Angela has an upcoming interview with In Touch in which she reveals that her daughter and the kids trashed the place and left tons of junk there. In Touch and Bauer-griffin have the photos and it looks just as bad, if not worse, as when the kids were living there. Angela gives the priceless excuse that she’s not cleaning up because it’s not her mess and she has “a bad back.” (Nadya Suleman collected over $165,000 in disability for a “bad back” from 2002-2008.)

Where there’s a group of kids, there’s bound to be chaos. But nothing prepared Angela Suleman — mother of “Octo-mom” Nadya Suleman — for the destruction caused by Nadya and her 14 children, who left her home wrecked and her life in ruins. Angela invited Life & Style reporter Rachel Teitelbaum to her Whittier, Calif., house on July 9 to see the damage for herself. There, in an exclusive interview, Angela opened up about the emotional — and financial — pain Nadya and her family have caused her. “My house is in shambles,” Angela says. I’m so disappointed.”

The smell of sour milk from an old spill permeates the air throughout Angela’s modest three-bedroom home. In the living room, clothing, books, toys and papers are scattered everywhere. Doorways are scratched, the walls are covered with crayon and there’s Silly String on the ceiling. The sofa is torn and full of holes. The bedrooms, bathrooms, yard and garage are in equally disastrous shape. The entire mess, says Angela, stems from a 2-month period beginning in late 2008 when she cared for her daughter’s six older children while Nadya was in the hospital getting ready to have her octuplets. After the babies were born and released from the hospital, Nadya brought them back to Angela’s home, where Nadya stayed until her house — a brand-new 2,500-square-foot four-bedroom abode — was completed.

Angela doesn’t seem to think the kids, who ranged in age from 2 to 7 at the time, were the problem. Instead, she blames Nadya for not teaching them how to behave. “There isn’t much discipline, unfortunately,” Angela says. “Half the time, she didn’t know what they were doing.” When Nadya finally moved out, she left the home in tatters for her mother to deal with. “Everything here could eventually be cleaned up,” Angela notes. “But I’m an old lady with a bad back. I’m not cleaning up after them.”

For more photos of Angela’s trashed home, pick up this week’s issue of Life & Style, on newsstands now.

[From Life and Style]

Damn this woman for making me defend Octomom, but it’s not Nadya’s fault that the kitchen table has bills piled all over it, that there’s still clutter all over the home, and that the kitchen and bathroom are so messy. The woman is incapable of organizing her home. Yes, Nadya should have cleaned up her junk and repaired the damage her kids left, but it’s doubtful that house was ever in order. Take a trash bag and sweep the little things away. Go to Target and buy some inexpensive storage pieces. I understand Angela being upset at Nadya for dumping her kids and garbage on her, but she could clean up some of it. Instead she’s playing the wounded victim and refusing to even do even a small amount. I guess we know where Nadya gets her conniving, self-centered personality. This woman is so bitter that she’d rather hold on to a grudge and live in a trashed home than lift a finger to clean up after herself. Maybe she’s just looking for excuses, just like her daughter.

In Touch will have many more photos in their issue this week. These are just a sample, thanks to Bauer-Griffin. I’m including a photo of the bathroom, because there’s no excuse for the way that towel is hung and all the products that are scattered on the counter. Did Nadya’s mom leave the towel hanging there like that for four months because her daughter didn’t hang it up right? Please.

Nadya Suleman pissed off that judge appoints guardian to watch her kids’ finances

infphoto_1030882
Over the weekend the news came out that Octomom Nadya Suleman had signed a reality show contract that guaranteed that her children would receive $250 a day each for filming. It was unknown how much Suleman would be compensated, but it sounded like her children’s money was safe as it was being placed in a trust for them until they turned 18. The money was estimated at $250,000 total for all the kids over three years. The only problem was that just 15% of that money would be placed in a trust, as several of you pointed out in the comments. That’s only $37,500.

Nadya’s kids might get to attend college without going into debt after all. A guardian has been appointed by the court to oversee the money her children earn, essentialy keeping it out of Suleman’s greedy paws:

Child star-turned kids activist Paul Petersen filed suit asking that the court appoint a guardian to protect Nadya Suleman’s children’s “potential business opportunities” and he succeeded Monday in making his point with an Orange County (CA) judge.

Petersen, who was represented in court by an attorney, claims that Nadya – better known as Octomom – has used her 14 kids for financial gain.

Not so, said, Suleman, who told reporters: “I have the right to decide what is in my family’s best interest without undue interference by Mr. Peterson.”

Superior Court Judge Gerald Johnston disagreed and is appointing a guardian.

[From Radar Online]

Suleman also told E! online that she’s “indifferent” about the judge’s ruling, although that contradicts her other statements about the matter. Is it in her “family’s best interest” for Suleman to spend all her children’s money on whatever she sees fit? This is the woman who had to declare bankruptcy and was supporting her family on student loans, food stamps and disability – despite having multiple plastic surgery procedures. She opted to undergo invitro fertilization while she had six young children at home she couldn’t support. She absolutely needs someone looking out for her children’s money. In Suleman’s mind, it’s in her “family’s best interest” for her to buy designer clothing and luxury goods while her kids are left to figure out how to pay for college. She’s undoubtedly getting a ton of cash for the show, but she’ll blow through it quickly and go on to waste her kids’ money if no one is there to stop her. After all, she gave birth to those kids and has the right to all their earnings right?

I wrote all that wanting to hate on Suleman, but then I saw these recent photos in which she’s carrying a Guess bag which retails for $130. That seems downright practical for her. Who am I kidding, she probably has 13 more at home.

Octomom signs reality TV deal, money for kids to be placed in trust

Nadya Suleman has signed a reality TV deal in which each of her 14 kids will earn $250 a day, to be placed in a trust that will be available to them when they turn 18. The move is likely meant to quiet all the talk that Suleman will predictably be profiting off her children and siphoning the money to pay for plastic surgery, designer goods, and nail tips. At least the kids will have some money put aside for the education, although surely the thick-lipped one got a sweet payday that’s not disclosed in the publicly available documents:

Octuplet mother Nadya Suleman has signed agreements for each of her 14 children to earn $250 a day to star in a reality television show.

The contracts filed Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court guarantee the children will collectively earn about $250,000 over three years. The contracts require a judge’s approval.

European production company Eyeworks has inked the deal with Suleman. Eyeworks lists “Breaking Bonaduce” and “The Biggest Loser” among its television credits.

The show is slated to begin filming Sept. 1, according to the documents.

The payments outlined in the contracts say Suleman’s kids will collectively earn $125,000 for 36 days of shooting in the first year of production, $75,000 for 21 days in the second year and $50,000 for 14 days in the third year. Any extra shooting days will be compensated at the same rate.

The contract also states that 15 percent of the gross compensation will be deposited by Eyeworks into a “Coogan Trust Account,” as required by California law. The monies can’t be touched until the children turn 18 or become legally emancipated.

A call to Suleman’s lawyer Jeff Czech was not immediately returned Friday afternoon. He has said previously that the family has hired an entertainment lawyer and established a trust for her children, ages eight and under.

[From OMG.Yahoo.com]

Suleman has previously slammed mother-of-eight Kate Gosselin, calling her reality show “exploitative and invasive in the kids lives,” and saying that her show won’t be anything like that and will be “more documentary style, monitoring their growth and development… more intellectual and educational, not so superficial.” I guess we’ll see how “educational” Suleman’s show is. Given her seething jealousy of Kate Gosselin, and all the obvious plastic surgery procedures she denies, you would assume that Suleman’s show will be just as “superficial,” if not more so, than its predecessors. This is the woman who tore up a photo of Kate Gosselin in a bikini and said she wouldn’t wear a bathing suit for the paps, but if she did she’d pick a cuter one. “I’m not as attention seeking.. [I'll] probably never [wear a bikini for the paparazzi.]. If I do I’ll be more appropriate I’ll wear little boy shorts like the 50s or 60s bikinis. A little cuter less attention seeking.”

Octomom’s son at home after ER visit from drinking volcano kit chemicals

fp_2167912_suleman_nadya_fp_050609

With fourteen kids running around, it’s no surprise that it’d be nearly impossible for Nadya Suleman to keep track of who’s eating what. Unfortunately all of the kids are under the age of eight, which puts most of them squarely in the “likes to put non-food items in mouth” age. This weekend Nadya’s 2-year-old son Caleb ingested some of the saline solution from his older brother’s volcano kit. Though he threw it up, Nadya called 911 and he went to the hospital – which naturally resulted in a bit of internet pandemonium.

Nadya Suleman is facing some new drama! Her 2-year-old son, Caleb, was treated and released from a Los Angeles-area hospital Friday after accidentally ingesting a chemical mixture from a home volcano kit. “He’ll be perfectly fine,” Suleman, 33, told RadarOnline.com after returning home with her son from a precautionary trip to the St. Jude Medical Center’s emergency room. Caleb, one of Suleman’s 14 children, vomited at the family’s La Hambra, Calif., home after swallowing liquid from his older brother’s volcano kit, prompting Suleman to dial 911. The boy was taken by ambulance to the Fullerton, Calif., hospital, underwent diagnostic tests and was released. According to Suleman, no further tests or medication will be needed. During the ordeal, Suleman’s other children – including her nearly 6-month-old octuplet babies – remained under the supervision of nannies.

[From the Boston Herald]

Radar reported that the aforementioned “chemical mixture” was actually a saline solution. They also noted that police and CPS workers visited the home as required.

Nadya returned home with 2-year old Caleb at 10:45pm PT and he is fine. Two hospital social service workers went to Nadya’s home to interview her children. Two police officers were also there providing security. It was all standard operating procedure. After 15 minutes inside the social workers determined everything was fine and they left with no further action.

[From Radar]

While I’d like to say this is obviously what happens when you have fourteen kids, a kid swallowing non-food items can happen to any parent. I’m sure having fourteen kids doesn’t help, but Caleb drank something that, while he probably shouldn’t have been given access to it, also was part of a toy. It’s not as though he got into anything under the sink – that would have indicated a bigger problem.

And I am well acquainted with this childhood almost-rite of passage. When I was five I swallowed a penny. How’d I do that? Well naturally I had it in my mouth while I was watching television. I’ve never liked to watch TV without having some other activity to focus on, and there was no internet back in 1986. So the next logical way to distract myself was to put spare change in my mouth and clink it back and forth between my teeth. This was surprisingly satisfying. After about day five of this activity a penny naturally flew into the back of my mouth, and I decided it was better to swallow it than try to pull it out. Luckily. It left my body on its own accord, thanks to the digestive powers of youth. A few months later my 1-year-old sister swallowed a leg from a Cootie game. She always had to one-up me.

Here’s Nadya and I think Caleb – the boy’s name isn’t mentioned in the photo, but this one looks about right – at the park in May. Images thanks to Fame Pictures .

Octomom’s son attacked his grandmother with a knife

fp_2167791_suleman_nadya_fp_050609

With all the other chaos going on in their lives, only a relative few articles have mentioned Octomom Nadya Suleman’s oldest six children and how their lives have changed. Most predicted it wouldn’t be for the better, and that’s clearly the case. One of the kids viciously attacked his grandmother Angela with a knife, while Nadya sat there and did nothing. The National Enquirer doesn’t name which child it is, other than to say that the youngest boy, Caleb, 2, was also attacked by him. That leaves three other boys as possibilities.

The Enquirer says Nadya refuses to discipline the child for fear of angering him more. And she won’t let anyone else do it either. So instead of addressing the problem, she’s choosing to ignore what is clearly an extremely dangerous situation.

One of Nadya Suleman’s older children attacked his grandmother with a steak knife, The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively. Her son has also kicked his younger brother Caleb, 2, in the head – but the beleaguered Octo-Mom refuses to discipline him, nor does she allow others to do so, sources say.

“I’ve begged my daughter to get help for this child before he hurts someone, but she won’t listen to me,” Nadya’s anguished mom Angela Suleman revealed to The ENQUIRER in an exclusive interview. “He goes into wild rages and becomes uncontrollable. He went after me with a knife, and he’s thrown hard objects at me. But Nadya will not discipline him because she’s afraid of provoking him into even more of a rage.”

The boy exploded at his grandmother when she tried to discipline him shortly after the octuplets’ birth in January, said a source. “He screamed at Angela, ‘I’ll kill you!’ and grabbed a steak knife,” a family friend of the Sulemans told The ENQUIRER. “First, he began stabbing at her and then, when he didn’t connect, he began slashing at her wildly. Nadya, who rarely disciplines the children, just sat and watched.

“Angela finally managed to wrestle the knife away from the troubled child. But then he ran at her, kicking and punching.” Terrified, Angela – a 69-year-old retired schoolteacher – tried to escape her rampaging grandson by fleeing down a hallway. “But the out-of-control boy followed her, throwing punches at her,” said the family friend. “Angela ran into her bedroom, locked the door and stayed there for 10 minutes.”

Angela – who thankfully no longer lives with Nadya, 34, and her 14 children – believes her grandson is acting out because he’s depressed. “This boy was used to getting his mother’s attention. But now Nadya’s new house is full of new babies, and Nadya doesn’t have time for him,” she told The ENQUIRER.

[From the National Enquirer]

This poor little boy isn’t the problem. It’s the same as any other case where you see a child acting out: you don’t blame the kid, you blame the parents. Especially when the parents aren’t doing anything. It doesn’t take a psychologist to figure out the six older kids are not getting the attention they need. I’m sure the octuplets won’t either. They have one parent and fourteen kids. What are the rest of them going to resort to in order to get Nadya’s attention? And what will it take for her to actually react – if eve this can be ignored?

Of course this little boy is depressed – imagine how sad his life is. He’s got 13 siblings, 8 of which are newborns. It’s safe to assume that in the four bedroom home, he’s obviously sharing a room with several other kids, and that will probably only get worse in the future. He’s never going to get the positive attention he needs, unless someone outside the home does it. You want to hope for the best, but it’s hard to imagine how his situation could realistically improve. It’s probably safe to bet he’s acting out at school too – if so, hopefully his teachers can address the problem and get him some help. My heart just aches for this poor little boy.

Octomom videos may violate child labor laws; Gloria Allred chimes in again

fp_2167916_suleman_nadya_fp_050609
RadarOnline has been cited by the California Department of Labor for allegedly violating child labor laws by featuring Nadya Suleman’s newborns in short video segments on their site. Radar didn’t obtain working permits for any of Suleman’s 14 children, but they maintain that they’re a news organization and are not required to get permits. Of course celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred is jumping on this latest issue to claim yet again that Suleman is not a fit mom. I am torn on this because I don’t know who to dislike more, Suleman or Allred:

Nadya Suleman and her mouthpiece website, RadarOnline, are feeling the heat from California officials for child-labor violations involving Octomom’s brood.

State Labor Commissioner Angela Bradstreet alleges the entertainment site failed to take out the requisite permits before videotaping Octotots Noah and Isaiah and ignored laws governing the amount of time the infants could be on camera.

And that could just be the tip of the iceberg.

Department of Labor spokesman Dean Fryer says the alleged violations occurred March 17 and involve the very first videos of the newborns.

“The investigation remains open,” he stresses, adding that unless Radar gets compliant with the law, it could face additional sanctions, since the children have been seen in videos since their March debut.

So far, Radar has been cited for the following: failure to have a permit for employing minors, punishable by a $500 fine; failure to have an entertainment permit for two children, doubling the fine to $1,000; working outside the law’s set hours, punishable by another $1,000; and failure to have a supervisor and/or teacher, which is another $500.

Per state guidelines, infants are only allowed to”work” between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and between 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., and can only be on camera for no more than 20 minutes at a time.

Radar, owned by America Media Inc., which also operates the National Enquirer, has until July 7 to appeal.
Chris Myers, Radar’s executive editor, did not return phone calls seeking comment.

The agency initiated its investigation May 4, three weeks after Suleman signed a contract giving Radar exclusive rights to document her 14 children, including the octuplets born in January.

“It came to our attention that RadarOnline announced they were going to provide footage of the children,” says Fryer.

And apparently another of Suleman’s antagonists, gadfly lawyer Gloria Allred, has had a hand in the state probe. “She’s been helpful. We interviewed for her as part of our investigation,” adds Fryer.

At a press conference this afternoon, Allred said that it is “clear the babies are in danger.”

“Because Nadya Suleman has chosen to commercially exploit her babies by allowing them to be filmed, she and those with whom she has contracts must follow the law which exists for the protection of these innocent babies,” she told reporters.

“The entertainment industry, the media, and Nadya Suleman are now on notice that the health, safety, and welfare of these babies is paramount. The message has now been sent loudly and clearly that the babies’ rights may not be sacrificed or violated simply because others wish to profit.”

[From RadarOnline]

I like Radar and find them much classier than some of the other big gossip sites. (*cough* TMZ) They did seem to be lightly goading Suleman in the video in which they showed her the Kate Gosselin bikini photos, but it was Suleman who flipped out while the interviewer remained normal, and it made for some good footage so I can’t blame them. As for filming the babies, if they need permits they should probably get them now along with limit filming to the hours allowed by the state.

It’s not like the videos on Radar are centered on the children, though, and they’re not making a reality show. The clips feature Suleman and they do show the kids, but it’s more about their crazy mom. Radar just had a video yesterday showing one of the newborns at the end after Suleman spouted off about Kate Gosselin again. I’d much rather watch the adorable babies than hear Suleman’s latest rant.

How much do you want to bet Allred is the one who called the Department of Labor so that she could continue to stir the sh*t on Suleman? I’m in no way suggesting that Suleman is a good mother, but she doesn’t seem bad enough to warrant taking her children away. Allred is a nasty person who continues to milk this situation for publicity. It just makes me shake my head.

Nadya Suleman: “I’ve never done anything wrong in my life, ever”

nadya11
Since we last talked about Nadya Suleman, she’s made several new videos that are now posted on Radar Online. In each she comes across as we’ve come to expect: completely insincere and more than a little crazy.

I can always tell when my four year old is fibbing because he gets this huge grin on his face and has to look away. That’s exactly what Nadya Suleman does in a recent video on Radar Online in which she apologizes for ripping up Kate Gosselin’s bikini picture in the video posted last week. She says she regrets going off on Gosselin and tries to convey that she can relate to her, but it looks like she’s trying to stop herself from busting out laughing. You can see her twisted mouth curl into a smile when the interviewer brings up the incident, like she’s remembering fondly how she got so upset at Kate’s bikini body that she had to tear her picture into shreds.

We asked the truth expert at Eyes For Lies to analyze Suleman’s supposed apology, and she has some excellent insight on what an obvious manipulator this woman is:

What caused Nadya Suleman to do an about-face on Kate Gosselin? I can’t help wonder if TV execs who supposedly signed Nadya up for a reality show got upset at her for dishing a woman in her exact shoes. When I watch Nadya share her regrets, it seems less than sincere to me.

The interviewer says to Nadya, “It seemed like you had some sort of apology.” Watch Nadya’s body language after he says this. Watch her shake her head as she says, “No, just after it happened, I kind of self-reflected on why I did that. I felt really guilty.” The words “kind of” are what I coined as hedge words. Either Nadya self-reflected or she didn’t. She didn’t “kind of” reflect. When people are less than honest, they often use hedge words like this to say something concrete that they didn’t actually do. Nadya goes on to say, “I was kind of probably displacing my frustration…” I can’t help but notice the words “kind of probably” again. Do those words seem sincere to you? It’s like she kind of probably did something, but not really.

Later Nadya says, “I of all people should understand the public scrutiny and then the… um…being condemned and judged, and..you know I’m genuinely apo…(head shake no)…I feel genuine…regret for having said that.” Notice how Nadya will not say the word “apologetic”? She does everything she can to avoid saying it! Why does that bother her so much if she is regretful? It squarely inconsistent. It tells us she is not sincere about her regrets, without any doubts. People who are regretful are sorry for what they did, which is supportive of an apology. Clearly, Nadya is playing a word game here with us, trying to convince us of something she really doesn’t mean. I can’t help but feel she is trying to manipulate us here for an ulterior motive.

Suleman has another video on Radar in which she is questioned about the sperm donor. Last week Radar posted an “intimate chat” with Suleman and her supposed best friend. Suleman told her friend that her sperm donor was once willing to meet his biological kids, but that she went and got pregnant again with the octuplets behind his back.

In this second video, she rolls her eyes multiple times and looks annoyed that she’s even being questioned more about the sperm donor. She says that people close to the guy are understandably upset that she’s talking about him, even though she didn’t reveal many personal details. She then promises to cover more information about the father in her book without revealing his identity. Given that it’s not possible to trust this woman in any capacity, the guy has got to be shaking in his boots.

Despite saying many times that she regrets things she’s done – like feeling guilty for getting pregnant this last time behind the donor’s back, Suleman makes a ridiculous statement that she no doubt believes is true. She says at about 1 minute into the video “In regard to my own past, I’ve never done anything wrong in my life ever.” She goes on to explain why she lied and previously claimed she didn’t have a sexual relationship with the donor in the past, as if she ever needs an excuse for lying, “but that [the sperm donor] was just one more detail of my life. I just felt more comfortable talking about it. [recently].”

Suleman says she’s heard secondhand that the sperm donor has seen that video where she talks about him and says she “regrets opening up like that. it’s not fair to him.” How does she regret anything she’s done if she also claims to have “never done anything wrong in my life, ever”?

Having grabbed headlines last week for her candid comments regarding the father of her 14 children, Nadya Suleman continues to be full of surprises. In RadarOnline.com’s latest exclusive interview with Suleman, she hints that the sperm donor has been struggling, especially from “opposition” from certain people in his life.

In the newest video, she also reveals that since her explosive comments last week she has had “indirect communication” with him through other people. While she probably will continue to protect his identity in her new book she is writing, she will delve further into her decisions, her reflections on what has happened, and her relationship with the sperm donor.

Nadya also tells another whopper about 3:15 into the video, saying “I’m not trying to get any financial gain out of this story. If I ever wanted that, I would have disclosed more about him by now. I will talk about my feelings in the book I’m going to write, while continuing to retain privacy for him.” If she wasn’t trying to get financial gain, why would she even be talking to us?

Octomom: her kids’ father would have met them, but she got pregnant again

nadyaheader1
I don’t know what’s going on with Nadya Suleman, but she seems like a crazy sociopath who is more than willing to sell out her kids for whatever fame she can squeeze out of her sad situation. Today she has a kind of disclosure video on Radar Online that’s staged to look like an intimate conversation with a friend over fondue. It made me ill to watch the whole thing, because it’s like she’s saying all these things for show and doesn’t realize the ramifications her words will have on her children for the rest of their lives. She’s lying and trying to justify her actions to the public without taking any personal responsibility.

She says her kids asks several times a day about their father, who they’ve never met or even seen a photo of. The details are vague, but it sounds like the guy was a friend of hers. After he fathered six children with her through IVF he said he would be open to meeting them. He seems to have own family, but to have once been willing to tell Nadya’s children he was their father and to visit with them. Then Nadya got pregnant again this last time using the frozen embryos without asking his permission and it ruined their relationship. So she’s basically admitting that her children’s father could have been a part of their lives but that she ruined it by going behind his back and getting pregnant again. How are her kids going to feel when they’re old enough to find this confessional video on their own?

In this brand new story, Nadya reveals –for the first time — how she coerced the father of her 14 children to be the sperm donor, and that he was extremely upset when he learned she had frozen his sperm to keep having kids.

“I screwed myself. I screwed up my life and I screwed up my kid’s lives. What the heck am I going to do?”, Nadya says as she dines Wednesday night with her best friend at The Melting Pot, a fondue restaurant in Brea, California near her home in La Habra, Calif. In another candid statement, Nadya says “I have to pretend I don’t regret it.”

Nadya also reveals that every day, her older children ask about their father, whose identity remains a mystery. “He’s just afraid. He’s hiding,” says Suleman. “He’ll lose everything”.

In past interviews, Nadya has described the babydaddy as a “friend,” but now, speaking to RadarOnline.com, she admits: “I secretly wanted him in my life.”

Nadya says she wants to apologize to the father, saying “he’s probably angry and resentful.” Adds Suleman: “I’m the ghost that’s haunting his existance.”

She also says if the father does not initiate a relationship with her children on his own, she will reveal his identity to her oldest child Elijah when he turns 18 in ten years, so that he can contact his dad, if he wants to.

[From Radar Online]

Nadya talks about the father of all her children without giving his name, profession or any personal details. She says she convinced him to donate more sperm to father more children with her “year after year,” but that it wasn’t until about a year and a half ago that she told him she wanted him to be a part of her children’s lives. He agreed, she says, but then he was understandably upset that she went and got pregnant again with eight more. She said “I feel so much guilt for that,” but then turned right around and acted like it was no big deal, adding “How am I supposed to know more than one would grow?”

Suleman said “I live in denial. I blame myself and that’s how I live with it. I coerced him into helping me every year.” It’s like she’s saying all the right things, but she doesn’t mean them. Given her actions she’s surely lying through her teeth and doesn’t feel guilty about anything. This woman does whatever she wants and thinks she’s justified.

Her friend brings up the father’s “his profession,” and I get the feeling that the guy was an IVF doctor. Nadya’s friend says “In his profession, he could have said ‘no,’” but Nadya says she’s “trying to protect him and his profession” despite talking all this smack about him.

Whatever the guy does, he’s got to be scared that Suleman is going to reveal his identity. What do you think her motivations are for talking about the father? Is she trying to threaten him for going back on his word by making it seem like she’ll go to the press with his name? Is she trying to earn headlines however she can in her twisted way? This is not a sane person.
