Another day, another story about Octomom getting freebies and milking the system. First I want to mention that a lot of people are out of work and struggling in today’s economy and I think extreme, very visible cases like this can cause “some unnecessary/unwarranted ill will towards those who need WIC and food stamps,” to quote Bedhead. I asked her to give me her take on this story, because I believe that people like Suleman are the exception, and I know hard working families who feed their children healthy food using assistance. This lady is a cartoon character, we can’t take her as an example of an average family on food stamps. Consider that she’s famous for having more children at once than any woman in the world. (For now. Her record is about to be broken.) Remember that she did this on purpose while unmarried, unemployed and living with her parents. Whack. Job.
Delving into today’s Nadya Suleman stories, she got some of the graffiti and damage in her home cleaned up – for free of course. I say “some” because TMZ has video of her running around the house proving that her three toilets are all functional. In that video you can see spray paint tags inside her bathrooms. You know, even if I had 14 kids to look after at once I think I could prevent them from spray painting the inside of my damn house. That just boggles my mind. (Not that I would ever willingly watch 14 kids for even an hour, so maybe I just don’t realize.) Suleman got a lot of work on her home comped by the company she “works” for, DialAStar, which also employs such illustrious celebrities as Michael Lohan, Dina Lohan, and Tila Tequila. You can talk to Octomom for $12 a minute, and you know she’s not declaring that on her taxes since that would make her ineligible for 4-5k a month in government money. Here’s TMZ’s story on this:
DialAStar.com — the website that pays celebs to talk to their fans on the phone — donated the company’s first month of profits (over $10,000) to spruce up Nadya’s house.
A rep for the website — which employs Octomom along with several other celebs — tells TMZ, cleaners have already started painting over the giant murals of graffiti inside and outside of the house, patching holes in the wall, and fixing the doors.
As for Octomom’s stylist’s claims that only one toilet works in the house — we got video of Octo proving it’s no longer true … you see her flushing THREE toilets.

Oh great, another company rewarding Octo for being wildly irresponsible with her money.
Also, Radar claims that the hairdresser “set up” Suleman with those photos of her trashed home. Apparently the hairdresser sold the photos to TMZ before she alerted the authorities. Some of you have floated the theory that this whole story was a scam by Suleman and the stylist to earn her some more media coverage and freebies. After all, who has graffiti tags inside their home when they’re not living in a meth lab? You could be right, but I don’t think that Suleman is that good of an actress. I think this went down like she’s claiming, and she spun it and used it to her advantage like the grifter that she is.
As for the investigation by CPS into the living conditions at Suleman’s home, she claims that they praised her and practically called her a supermom. She told TMZ “They can’t even believe that I can do what I’ve been doing.” Given how fast this lady talks, I think she has a lot of help from ADHD medication. At least her kids aren’t in imminent danger though – according to her. We know how much we can trust the things she says.
And you give kids of any age a can of spray paint, why?

In California spray paints are kept under lock and key, only to be sold to those 18 and over. The only person in that house over the age of 18 is Nadya!
If you look at how high up on the wall most of the spray painted WORDS and SENTENCES (it wasn’t toddler’s scribble!), then you realize that SHE was the one who wrote ALL of that crap on her own walls!
The kids probably saw HER write on the wall first and thought it looked fun, so they imitated what they saw ‘Mom’ do.
Looks like crazy Octo-Twit has been busy inhaling spray paint fumes for a cheap high!
She has older children too, so maybe they are guilty of tagging the house. Not that I’m making excuses for her. I am one of those people who has been out of work for over a year (with the exception of the temp jobs that I’ve been able to get…it’s a bitch to find work these days). This broad may be the exception because some of us use government assistance only when it becomes a dire need, but she’s a very visable exception that makes us all look like lazy, opportunistic, con artists. This woman pisses me all the way off.
That was what struck me first – she obviously did the spray painting. It’s not easy to write with spray paint.

as an aside, ADHD medication would slow a person down, not speed her up. she would speed up and become distracted not being on it, or coming off it. 🙂

If a person who doesn’t have adhd takes meds for adhd it has an opposite effect and it speeds the person up.

yes, absolutely, but they do have a different effect on people with adhd than they have on people with no adhd. (“speed” slows people with adhd down.)
This entire conversation is totally making me crave ADHD drugs.
Stimulants at higher doses will temporarily “speed up” even a person who has been correctly diagnosed with ADD or ADHD. Trust me, neither of those is likely to be Octosow’s diagnosis. Narcissistic Personality Disorder? Check. Sociopath Lite? Check. She may not be sick enough to kill someone, but sociopathy exists on a spectrum. She’s on it. If she’s breathing then she’s lying, and if she’s talking then she’s conning. She has zero conscience when it comes to lying, stealing or manipulating. Her world begins and ends with HER, and only her. Those kids are props, tools, pawns for her.
Nadya claims there was nothing wrong with the living conditions in that house, but she certainly had (all free) cleaning crews, plumbers, painters, etc in there within 48 hours of the social services visit. Obviously, there WAS MERIT to the claims made or she would have left the house the way it was.
When will she be at least INVESTIGATED for welfare, workers comp, disability fraud? She brags about all her jobs and having money to spend on $500 hairvuts. She has a lawyer, a corporation, two vehicles, etc, but collects at least $4-5k a month in assistance. Something is not right.
My husband’s and my tax dollars at work! The irony here is that I can’t afford to have children, at least not now.

I can’t tell if she makes such weird faces because she’s so impaired by mental illness or if it’s because she thinks repeatedly contorting her freak mask of a face is her way of “proving” that it hasn’t been shot full of botox and fillers. She also frequently does some strange biting or sucking in thing with her lips as if she doesn’t know how to fully operate them. Her lips are particularly foul and misshapen.
I sincerely and genuinely despise this woman.

I felt so sad for those kids confined to the back yard, with no adult interaction or guidance. Probably precious little affection as well. I hope they turn out okay, despite everything she has done to f%#@ them up. Those kids look as though they’ll have a ‘Lord of the Flies’ type childhood ahead.

She frustrates me, sure.
That said . . . The strain of her life shows on her face and she is clearly paying a heavy price for her poor choices. At this point what’s done is done and I just wish the best to those kids.
As for the house: I can barely keep my house together with just 3 kids. I wouldn’t expect less than for her house to be a mess.
what you see on her face is not really the strain of life so much as the result of too much tweaking, injecting, botoxing. I don’t get the “what’s done is done” mentality when it comes to a situation as egregious and dire as Octo’s. She needs to be held accountable, not get a sort of modified free pass because, hey, what’s done is done. Yes, help the kids…by taking them away from her.
this woman boggles my mind. as much as i feel sorry for her children, i find the way she works the system and everyone else disgusting! i live in california and am on permanent disability and times have been so tough that recently i had to apply for food stamps. after all was said and done i was given $14 a month benefit. i’ve worked and paid taxes my whole life, and that’s what i got! don’t get me wrong, i’m grateful for any extra help, but when i see flagrant abuse of the system, it sickens me. smh….
THAT’S the crap that pisses me off! When I was working my last temp job, not making enough to make ends meet with rent and utilities my SNAP benefit was $16 a month. After I’d pay my bills I’d literally have $5 left over…so $21 dollars to feed a family of 2. And this Octo-broad gets $2000 a month AND freebies??? What the ENTIRE F*ck???
