Christina Aguilera, to Jay Leno: women ‘should be pleased in the bedroom’

Christina Aguilera recently lost weight, and I assume that means that she got somewhat sober too, which is great for her. She was looking very tipsy and very orange for a long time. She’s still somewhat orange, and she’s still yammering on about how sexy she is. I don’t remember an interview with her in the last few years where she didn’t mention this topic. Wait, I take that back, she did an interview with Matt Lauer a couple of years ago in which she spent the entire time defending herself against allegations that she was an unprofessional mess. Otherwise her go-to topics are being sexy, being naked, going commando and being sexy. That’s why I shouldn’t be surprised that she talked about sex on The Tonight Show Jay Leno, but it still creeped me the hell out. Jay Leno is such a creeper.

Christina Aguilera said she feels “sexier than ever” — and certainly backed it up, looking foxy in a sleek black dress — appearing on Wednesday’s edition of The Tonight Show to promote the upcoming season of The Voice.

“For me, I’m an artist and expressing myself in a sexual way — no matter how that changes throughout the years — is something that has always come naturally to me,” the blonde beauty told host Jay Leno. “At this point of my life, I’m 32 and I feel sexier than ever because you know what you want.”

The What A Girl Wants singer, who recently showed off her svelte form on Maxim’s cover, said the photo shoot for the magazine “was all about appreciating the woman I’ve become and being effortlessly sexy, not trying too hard.”

She expounded to Leno on a comment she made to the magazine, saying that the only place in her life that she’s passive is, is “in the bedroom.

“I’m a big micromanager,” she said. “I’m a stickler about organization, everything needs a place, a purpose and micromanaging myself even when I’m in the studio. So I think every woman should relax and allow herself to be pleased … it’s the one place I can let go.”

[From Radar Online]

I get that she has to talk about something that will get her headlines, and the sex topic always works. (Case in point.) She’s on the cover of Maxim and these are the things she said in her Maxim interview as well. Aguilera is repeating her talking points. It just comes across as so wrong to me. You say those things to Maxim, not to Jay freaking Leno.

Aguilera is not currently engaged, but there have been rumors that she’s lost weight in preparation for a wedding with her boyfriend, Matt Ruttledge. Thankfully we haven’t heard anything on that front. She probably is in no hurry to get married again. She’s too focused on feeling sexy and free in the bedroom.

No comment on her face? It has changed and not due to weight loss/gain or on/off the wagon.

    • Petee says:

I agree. Her face looks like she has had filler’s.I have never liked her.She just over does everything including her singing. She just try’s to hard.I think it is because when she first got famous there was the whole Britney and Christina thing.Britney was the cute, sexy,Lolita everyone loved and she was the one with the voice. That’s probably why she also has a bad attitude.

    • akivasha says:

      THANK YOU!
What did she do? I cannot put my finger on it but there is something different about her face that fillers or a peel wouldnt cause….

    • Mika says:

A better theory : That’s not even Christina Aguilera anymore.

    • Lishka says:

Just from looking at her face you can tell she hasn’t really lost much weight, she’s probably had a shedload of lipo all over her body and doubled, no TRIPLED up on the spanx. I shit you not.

  2. GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Ew. I can’t believe she said that to Jay Leno. Mostly, I can’t believe the author of this article said she looked “foxy.” Who says that anymore for the last 30 years? Is it back? Please no.

  3. matia says:

I just want to give her a bath. No more orange tan or drag queen make up. No more white bleach blond hair. She never realizes she has such a voice that is hidden beyond all that and her constant sex talk

  4. LAK says:

CB – Like minds!!! my first thought on seeing that headline is that Xtina is always talking about how sexy she is. Kudos for finding an interview where she doesn’t talk about it.

  5. Murphy says:

Despite losing weight she still looks more like her mother than ever in those pictures

  6. Erinn says:

Holy geez. She’s starting to look like Cyndi Lauper.

  7. Leni says:

She looks unbelievable youthful. Good for her. It seems wearing fake tan instead of having real sun baths pays off.

  8. Birdie says:

What is going on with her face? Is it because of weight loss or..?

  9. janie says:

I think she did something to her face? Why? She is only 32? Between her orange skin & white hair, she’s living the old joke… It cost a lot of money to look this cheap!

  10. Skins says:

I too am an artiste and express myself sexually in the bedroom with my equally artistic partner. I am so artistic in everything I do that you mere mortals cannot possibly relate to my artisticness.

  11. Yelly says:

Well she is right, women should be pleased in the bedroom.

    • Emily C. says:

If she’d just phrased it like that, yes. But she’s phrasing it as if women should not ever be in control in the bedroom — like they should all be submissives. Actually, looking at it again, it looks more like she’s saying women should just sort of lie there and expect men to do all the work, which is plain stupid. And what are lesbians supposed to do?

  12. Maritza says:

Her nose looks less wider than before. She would look so much prettier and younger if she got rid of that awful platinum hair, a darker color would look better.

  13. pfeiffer87 says:

Dammit – remember when this woman was awesome – ‘fighter’ ‘can’t hold us down’ days? I remember at 14 listening to her album and loving it, now tho…

  14. Nicolette says:

“Being effortlessly sexy, not trying too hard” *major eye roll*. Really? I agree that is so much more attractive, but please all she does is try hard.

  15. TherapyCranes says:

“was all about appreciating the woman I’ve become and being effortlessly sexy, not trying too hard.”

She says as she constantly talks about how sexy she is.

  16. Mitch Buchanan Rocks! says:

I want to stick the moron who programmed the traffic signal to be on chirp chirp chirp 24/7 in a room with The Christmas song on repeat.

  17. Emily C. says:

Will celebrities ever stop making gross overgeneralizations about what “everyone” should do? No?

Look, I’m a sub in the bedroom too, but EVERY WOMAN IS NOT.

  18. Leila in Wunderland says:

I agree with what she said about sex. Most people think that the person who’s ‘doing most of the work’ in the bed room is in the ‘dominant’ role, and that the one getting the work done to them is in a ‘submissive’ role. But to me, laying back and letting the other person do most of the ‘work’ is more physically pleasurable. I do think people should take turns, though.

And yes, Christina has always been very vocal on her opinions about sexuality and sexiness. I don’t think it’s a bad thing. I agree that she needs to go with a more natural hair color- she’s had this platinum hair for too long, and I think platinum only looks good on people in their teens and early 20’s.

  19. fluffyrabbit says:

    White hair – check
    Clown lipstick – check
    Tits out – check

    *yawn*

  20. Mirna says:

I don’t find her sexy at all. And that blonde mess of hair needs to go. She needs a more natural looking hair color – that strawish, dry rats’ nest is not the look.

  21. Hmm says:

For such a conservative country, everybody sure talks about sex a lot. Christ.

  22. Hmm says:

There’s this disturbing trend in makeup that I’ve just caught onto, especially after Julie Chen showed a video of herself being made up. All these women are having their makeup applied in such a way to mimic what a professional retoucher would do with photoshop–contouring to make noses look thinner and longer and eyes wider and lips bigger, etc.
Its very apparent in the last photo of Christina. These women are walking photoshop disasters by choice! Ok maybe it’s not a new thing but still makes me cringe.

  23. IceQueen says:

I hate her hair. Can’t she just do something normal with it. She should change the color and the style. I don’t mind her talking about sexuality or being sexy. It would be great to add more topics though. She should inspire women about more than one thing. I do like her voice and I’m kinda sad that Bionic was so underrated. I thought it was great. This new album is just ok. I miss the Dirty and Back to basics era.

  24. Bridget says:

Yuck, this is not empowering, it’s just gross. And she’s gotten to a point where she’s just gross, talent be damned.

  25. Tiffany says:

She really not an interesting person, is she. I am not saying you have to talk about Darwin when you are on these shows but she has taken some time off. What was she doing during that time, I hope more than feeling sexy.

  26. Mel says:

    Looks like had nose job.

  27. rudy says:

Xtina looks frozen and botoxed. Such a shame. Why do these very pretty unique girls keep messing with their faces. I hope this trend ends eventually or every female celebrity will look exactly like Heidi Montag.

  28. Quinn says:

Funny, since she is not sexy.

  29. pd says:

Hating on Christina Aguilera. How original. Try again CB! She looks gorgeous. These comments are gross as well as the article. Written by people who obviously didn’t get enough attention from their parents as a child. I swear Xtina is the only person who will get criticized for putting on weight as well as losing weight.
