Al Pacino & Noor Alfallah welcomed baby boy Roman Pacino recently

In late May, we learned that 83-year-old Al Pacino was expecting a baby with his 29-year-old girlfriend Noor Alfallah. It went from a mild curiosity to a major gossip story within a day, as people within Noor’s circle insisted that she was no golddigger, she just “loves old people,” specifically rich old men. Reportedly, Pacino was pissed off when Noor eventually told him about the pregnancy and he demanded a DNA test. About a week after the news came out, Pacino made an effort to lower the temperature and put a bow on the whole fiasco, telling the Daily Mail that the pregnancy is “really special coming at this time.” “This time” meaning his ninth decade on earth. Well, good news: Noor had the baby. A boy!

Al Pacino is officially a father at 83 … his girlfriend, Noor Alfallah, gave birth and the two are already out and hitting the town together as a couple. Sources close to the couple tell us Noor recently gave birth, and both parents are ecstatic. We don’t yet know the sex of the baby.

And get this, Al and Noor were spotted out for dinner together in L.A. Wednesday, hitting up Sunset Tower. On the way out, Al rode shotgun with Noor behind the wheel … you can also see what appears to be a car seat in the back, unclear if Baby Pacino tagged along. The two definitely appear to be in great spirits, and obviously have a lot to celebrate. TMZ broke the story the 2 were expecting last month, at the time, we were told Noor was about 8 months along.

Update: Pacino’s rep, Stan Rosenfield, tells TMZ, “I am confirming that Al Pacino and Noor Alfallah have welcomed a son, named Roman Pacino.”

[From TMZ]

Roman Pacino is a surprisingly good name. I wonder if Noor is a Succession fan? Kieran Culkin’s character is named Roman and I suspect the name will enjoy a resurgence in the generation of babies being born now, along with the names Kendall and Siobhan. Of course, maybe they just chose the name because Pacino is Italian-American. Anyway, Pacino seems to be putting his Pacinussy into this, so an effort is being made to normalize their situation. Maybe Noor has given Pacino every assurance that he doesn’t have to be too involved.

I saw her being referred to as his girlfriend and wondered if that was an assumption or if they’re in some way back together now.

  2. CC says:

There’s an episode of the original ‘Twilight Zone’ where a young wife keeps complaining that her older husband can’t keep up with her. To make her happy, he takes an untested youth serum and starts de-aging. The twist at the end is he turns back into a baby she must raise.
    This reminds me of that.

  3. I hope the child doesn’t have any developmental issues due to the age of its father. An 82 year old man in my opinion goes rancid like butter.

    • Amanda says:

Yes, that’s definitely a concern. Plus, he almost certainly won’t live to see his child grow up. I know sometimes things happen, and parents die while their children are young, but to do it purposely, seems extremely selfish.

      • Tanguerita says:

I am pretty sure it wasn’t her intention to become a father again. Rumor has it, he even asked for a paternity test.

This entire situation has changed my opinion of Al.
I assumed he was smarter than this behavior. Obvs not.

  5. Slush says:

Ugh. I mean congrats? I guess?

I hate to be anything other than thrilled for someone when they have a baby, but it’s just so sad to me that Roman won’t know his dad in any real way.

    • Chaine says:

Don’t worry, I’m sure when Al kicks it this lady will glom onto another rich older dude that can play daddy

  6. Feebee says:

I’m going to assume they’ve never heard of Succession because I can’t think of why you’d call your kid after any of those utter fuck ups. I mean why not Don or Eric?

Having said that Roman or Kendall/Siobhan are all great names so they have me there. I hope Al gets to spend some quality time with his kid while he can.

  7. Granger says:

I don’t know, I have my doubts Al actually “welcomes” this baby. He’s accepted the baby, sure, but how much interaction is he going to have with the boy? I’m guessing a couple of cuddles a week, max, and then he’ll be happy to let Noor take the kid back to her place.

  8. Isa says:

In some photos he looks like he doesn’t know where he is.
