Saturday, Oksana Gregory (and her cold sore?) was accosted by several paparazzi outside of her home and they held her up, asking her questions about Mel Gibson and being an abused woman (the video is below, courtesy of E! News). To her credit, Oksana was very polite, and knew just what questions to answer and which questions to pass off with a “I can’t talk about it.” When asked who was releasing Mel’s hate-filled rants, Oksana tells the paps: “I have no idea, no idea. It’s terrible, terrible.” When asked if she meant for the tapes to get out, she replies “Not at all.”Do you believe her? I’ve been thinking all along that everything Oksana has done since the breakup (and before) was with an eye on getting money and getting sole custody of their daughter. Back in April, Oksana cryptically announced the breakup by telling reporters in Russia that their split was “sudden and recently” and that she couldn’t give the reason at that time but that we would know what happened “soon”. Then over the last few weeks, all hell broke loose, and seemed to begin when Mel made a play for a custody of their daughter and made a move to preemptively discredit Oksana. That didn’t last long – and it was almost like Oksana was baiting him, waiting for him to make a dumb move.
While I’m now completely and fully Team Oksana, I do think that the release of the audio tapes to certain media outlets has been her doing, and has been her plan all along. I don’t blame her for that, of course. She’s been very smart, and my guess is that somewhere along the line, she began to feel like she should get some pain and suffering cash for what Mel put her through (I agree). I also think that she’s got some smart lawyers who are probably acting as her intermediaries with Radar and TMZ to control the story and roll it out over the course of the past month. So, yes, Oksana is not the one to physically bring the tape to Radar. But she made the tapes, the gave the tapes to her lawyers, and her lawyers are the ones parceling it out. Let’s not play games.

I believe she didn’t release them, RadarOnline made it pretty clear that they didn’t get the tapes from her or her people. Obviously she didn’t store the tapes securely though, so I’m guessing it was easy for someone who has a grudge against Mel to get them released. And given Mel’s sparkling personality, I don’t find it hard to believe that there are about 1,000 people with a grudge against him.

Would it not be illegal for Radar to publish the tapes without the permission of the person who made them? Those new privacy laws California passed last year would cover this.
Anything not specifically in the public domain is covered by the new law, if this law was in place at the time we would never have seen the police picture of Rhianna’s a battered face because it was an official police document illegally leaked. publishing it would now be illegal.
These tapes would be deemed to come under the definition of ‘a reasonable assumption of privacy’. Which means Radar will be liable (just a $50,000 fine , so they probably don’t care) and I’m sure Oxsanna was probably paid a hefty fee for them, which I’m sure they will deny as well.

There is no question that Oksana is responsible for the leaks. It even looks like she has been talking personally to TMZ’s Harvey Levin. TMZ has a video posted of this same encounter, and at the end of the video Oksana asks if the photographers are from TMZ, then says “Hi” to Harvey Levin.

I think she should also face charges of contempt of court because a judge told her not to release anything while these was a child custody hearing. Mel Gibson was and is a fool falling for such an ugly strumpet. Rourke is going to get a taste of this too for hooking up with Russian “model”. She is a snake, the kind used to read Bible and went to church, always preached moral this and that but back stabbed every one. She used to make hundred of thousands? From mattress on her back? Clearly she was planning for the future when uttering this nonsense and Gibson, like all men in thinking-with-wrong-head situation, did not fancy she could be such a marvelous snake so did not catch the peculiarity of her uttering such nonsense. I am a woman and know many, many like her, here and back home (it’s an industry, a passage of life for “models” there) so I hope she doesn’t get a dime for herself but I know she will get some. Mel is a bonehead and idiot but his nasty tongue isn’t exclusive his, but can be found in most people, especially when pissed upon finding out they had been used. Some doesn’t need much to spout filthier words.
