As many know (but don’t care), Peaches Geldof is on Twitter. Since she doesn’t really have a job – whoops, I mean, “she writes a bullsh-t column for Nylon” – beyond being Eli Roth’s girlfriend and manufacturing bullsh-t scandals, Peaches has a lot of time to tweet and get into cracked out shenanigans. She’s like a less-productive Lindsay Lohan, if that makes sense. Anyway, Peaches and Eli Roth went to see Salt last night, and Peaches was not impressed. In fact, Peaches took to her Twitter to complain:

Now, I didn’t think Salt had the best script either, and I said so because, you know, it’s my job to bitch and moan about celebrities. I’m a professional bitch, that’s how I like to think of it. But Peaches is not a professional. She barely does anything. She’s a lazy little twit, but she deigns to mock La Jolie? And you know Eli Roth and Brad Pitt are tight too – will Brad call Eli and tell him to rein in his girlfriend? Or did Eli share Peaches’ opinion and he and Brad are no longer BFFs?

um. if it werent for her boyfriends association to angelina jolie through brad pitt, i wouldnt think it was a big deal to bash the movie publicly. Jesus Christ. I posted this not because Peaches is NOT ALLOWED to have an opinion, but because I have an opinion about her bullshit. And obviously, a lot of other people do too, or else the trolls wouldn’t have gone apeshit on this post.
As for my inclusion Angelina’s name on the title, I just thought it would be a better reference than just putting “Salt”. And obviously, even if I didn’t bring Angelina into it, everybody else would have anyway, so what’s the big fucking deal?

What I find incredible is that somebody actually picked up on this tweet by Peachy and printed it. What? Is Peachy a film critic now. Who cares what she thinks, outside of the people who follow her twats?
And, no, not everybody liked “Salt” but it did receive a B+ rating by people who were polled leaving the movie theatres. That’s a lot of positive feedback and it probably means the movie has “legs” and will do very well.
And meme . . . yes, Angelina is being a “media whore” these days BECAUSE SHE HAS A MOVIE TO PROMOTE!!! And no, she is not the only person in the movie but she is the STAR of the movie and because of her the movie sold over $38M worth of tickets and she does have a back-end deal whereby she will receive a percentage of the profits. So,yeah, she’s pushing it hard, which is what a professional does.

I never thought this movie sounded like it would be good. How could it be when it was originally written for a male lead, but then at the last minute had to be rewritten for a woman when Tom Cruise dropped out and Angelina was cast? Not a promising start. I never had any interest in seeing it for that reason. We’re not talking high quality production values here. It’s cobbled-together BS. Not surprising that some don’t care for it.
I concur with those who feel Peaches, however ridiculous she may be, is entitled to her opinion. She’s probably right, too.

I really liked the movie!! It was action pact and yea the stunts were a little over the top but guess what..so are half these movies out there! I think the twist were surprising since I always predict who the bad guys are and what is going to happen next and I’m usually right….not this time! I’d watch it again and recommend it! And no people…I’m not Angie and wasn’t paid to write this!

@ Kaiser, I guess because the title of the post was a little misleading, people clicked in expecting to see some comments about AJ and it turned out it was just about the script, not about AJ herself. People are attacking her for an opinion about a movie, which in my opinion is a little ridiculous. I think we should save the attacks when she truly says or does something stupid, which will eventually happen given her track record.

This was somewhat of a classic action movie. People love action flicks like Predator and Commando…granted they don’t have the best plot and are fantasy. Take it for what it is…an action movie. At no point during the movie was I bored and it was fun to see real stunt work without all the CGI crap. I have no clue who this “Peaches” chick is but from what I’ve seen of her she crosses me as a clueless, useless party girl with a chronic dumb look on her face. She was probably just pissed that she looked like a hammered honeybaked ham next to Angelina when she saw it with her boyfriend. Hands down he would dump peaches in a heartbeat if Angelina would give him the time of day lol.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Although I really enjoyed SALT and I am sure there are several things in life this girl doesn’t understand. There is a part in the middle of the movie where you will get a bit confused or surprised but it works out beautifully. However she is entitled to her opinion.
Just scanning through the comments and alot of you seemed concerned with “overzealous fans” when since I have started commenting here I have seen like 3 or 4 people who regularly post who are fans of Angie, and they certainly aren’t overzealous. LOL
