Lindsay Lohan relates to Judy Garland, but not in the crackhead way

fp_5660763_lohan_lindsay_moe_083110

This is a photo of Lindsay Lohan from last night as she left the Chateau Marmont with a “mystery man.” So much for that hot Israeli chick she’s been photographed with the past week – Lindsay is officially back to dong. According to Fame Pictures, Lindsay had dinner at the Marmont, then headed back home without drama. Sure… I’ll buy that. But I don’t buy that the Chateau Marmont is a good place for Lindsay to have either a romantic date or a business meeting. It’s the place actors and rock stars go to do drugs and get f-cked up or just f-cked. Ah, Lindsay. Back to her crackhead ways. Speaking of denial, remember Lindsay’s Vanity Fair interview where she cracked-out some crap about how she’s not an addict or an alcoholic and those four rehab visits were just for fun? Well, VF has a video too. And it’s spectacularly crackheaded:

Judy Garland just rolled over in her grave, you know. As did Grace Kelly and Marilyn Monroe and any other Old Hollywood icon that this f-cking crackhead thinks she’s like. By the way – if Lindsay’s not an addict, why does she relate to Judy Garland so much, anyway? Hm?

Just a few more stories – Hollywood Life has a puff piece about Lindsay’s chances for getting her acting career back on track. The basic gist: Lindsay can have a career again if she eats sh-t for a while. But there’s a lot of crap about how “talent wins out” and how Lindsay is so, SO talented. Really? What is your evidence? The second Lohan story: Lindsay’s lawyer just sent a cease-and-desist letter to Michael Lohan because Michael was selling some of Lindsay’s stuff.

    Judy Garland, Grace Kelly? Judy Garland, Grace Kelly? This flea has no brain cells left. Linda Lovelace, maybe just because. Everytime she opens her mouth s*** comes out. No Activia for this twit.

    She is attending her meetings/sessions and so far has passed both of her twice weekly random alcohol and drug tests.
    There is probably better places than the Chateau Marmont but having no freedom for 5 weeks due to being in jail and a lockdown rehab then i guess she is trying to adjust.
    She has to stay sober until at least November 1st so maybe going back to her previous lifestyle before she had to stay sober will help her maintain her sobriety in the future.

    Could. not. care. less…. The only movie I ever saw of hers was Mean Girls and that’s only because it was on tv and there was nothing else on. She needs to find a corner far away from me and die off.

    If I’m not mistaken, Judy Garland tried to slit her own throat & died on the toilet. Something to shoot for, I guess, b/c she can’t sing like Judy so she’s not comparing talent.

    It always makes me sad thinking of Judy Garland’s suicide. Lohan is an idiot! She will never have the legacy of the classic movie stars. She is an addict and until she admits it she is in deep trouble.

    Contrition is a foreign concept to Lindsay. I mean, really, now she’s all “I never said I was perfect”. Gah. Just ONCE I want to hear her admit that she has f*cked up her career with her terrible choices. I’d bet hell would sooner freeze over.

    I don’t get it – what talent???? I don’t see it, I think she is a mediocre actress at best. Why do people keep filling her head with the idea she is good?

    I think that Vanity Fair cover is terrible. One of the worst I’ve ever seen. The open mouth, the oddly stretched eyes, the ridiculous hair… I’ve seen a good shot from the interior, so I just don’t get this cover.

    MICHAEL Lohan needs to disappear. What a $#@*% !!

    I believe Lindsay is a good actress. I’ve seen her in Mean Girls, Freaky Friday, and absolutely fell in love with her way back when I first saw her in The Parent Trap. (I remember thinking to myself while watching that movie with my daughter, “I’ve got to find out who that girl is who is playing Halley and Annie. She’s SO GOOD and SO ADORABLE!” I still go crazy for her every time I watch that movie. In that movie, she reminds me of my kids.

    @Innocent, one of the first things they tell you in rehab/12-step programs is to “change people, places, & things”. Hanging out at the scene of the crime is akin to laying on the railroad tracks pretending you’re not going to get hit by a train. I thought she was banned from the Chateau anyway?

    She’s talented I guess but is she really that much more special then say Natalie Portman, Scarlette J, etc all of these young actresses? Besides her image what sets her apart and makes a producer want to give her a part over them?

  12. I swear you just have an inbuilt hatred of Lindsay, I didn’t see anything crackheaded about that video it showed what a nice girl she is and she seemed uncomfortable with the “inferno” thing.
    At no point did she say she was like Grace Kelly, the woman said she looked like her.
    We should also bear in mind that the Vanity Fair interview and video were made before she went to Jail and rehab so hopefully her outlook will have changed a bit now.
    She’s been sticking to the rules since she came out and has passed her drug/alcohol tests so can’t we just give her the benefit of the doubt?

    p.s don’t bother deleting this like you did my last comment.

    @dread pirate cuervo
    I agree but she is stuck in LA and loves the Chateau so…
    As i’ve said she has to comply and stay sober until November 1st.
    So hopefully after November 1st she can actually apply what she has learned when she was forced to stay sober or face 30 days in jail.
    I haven’t heard anything about her being banned from the Chateau.
    She did the Maxim shoot there in June.

    not crackhead? she hardly looks at the camera, constantly looks away from the interviewer and uses lots of hand gestures and cant sit still. having been prescribed adderall and ‘dabbling’ in other stimulants, those are pretty tell-tale signs

    @FUTURESTAR

    No we can’t give her benefit of the doubt. People have been doing that for years and it doesn’t seem to have panned out.

    It’s time that she shows people that she is serious, dedicated, and sober.

    I think people really want to see her do well, really want her to be beautiful and talented and vibrant…so they believe her crap. And it always ends up the same.

    She may be a good actor, but we haven’t seen anything mind-blowing from her yet. She needs to just shut up and prove herself worthy of such comparisons.

    Yeah she should be given the benefit of the doubt.
    She knows she has to comply until November 1st or is facing 30 days in jail.
    The sentence she got was absolutely ridiculous so whatever she says in the interview that took place after she was sentenced is justifiable.
    Inferno just disgusts me i can’t believe she hasn’t pulled out of it yet. Nevermind how disgusting the plot is but there is also self injury were her mother burns her with a lighter.
    Dina speaks out against her sentence, vists her in jail & rehab and rightfully fights for her early release.
    Yet she is encouraging her do this dark, disturbing and depressing movie after everything she has gone through since July.

    Why does she think she has another shot in hollywood??? Her time has passed . There are now a gazillion more talented , more educated and far more worthy actresses who have stepped in and replaced her, like Emma Watson, Amanda Seigfried, emily blunt, natalie portman and the list goes on and on. Hollywood will NOT wait for you to get your sh*t straight it will move on to the brightest and best. Find another job Lindsay the industry has chewed you up and spit you out

    ************

    Oh yeah, going back to drinking, hanging out all night, and carjacking will definitely keep her sober. Her life before she “had” to be sober was nothing but a one way street to self-destruction, and trust me, I’ve seen enough people go down that street. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

    People like you are the very reason she continues to be a trainwreck.
    I wish Lindsay and her sycophants were forcibly moved to a distant island, inescapable because of piranha, and forced to live out their days sooking over how unfair it is that society has rules.

    She should be applying what she learned NOW. That is the entire point of rehab, to stay sober. Yeah she is under court to be sober, but she wouldn’t be under court order unless she had a problem. And you can’t blame Judge Ravel because the new judge has enforced the sobriety orders.

    Edit: Ditto CB Rawks!!

  27. Innocent says:

    @Bodhi
    Yeah the new Judge has enforced the sobriety orders because she is undertaking court ordered rehab on an outpatient basis. The 90 days was supposed to end on October 31st and the status hearing is on November 1st where if she has complied she will basically be free.
    Judge Revel’s sentencing just wasn’t fair at all and even the prosecution didn’t want the probation or rehab.

    She got released early 22/90 because even the doctors think the Judge was excessive.
    Formal probation with the random drug/alcohol testing could end on Nov 1st instead of August 2011

    The prosecution opposed none of this

    As someone who has gone through recovery, if she cannot admit she has a problem, she is completely and utterly screwed and WILL be using again before she knows it.

    Innocent, I can only wonder that your focus is on how unfairly LL has been treated. Would your focus change if, on just one occasion in which she was DUI or DWI, she had injured or killed one or more people? Do you truly not realize that for every time someone is caught DWI, there are hundreds of times they weren’t caught?

    To see Judy Garland’s name in the same sentence with Lindsey Lohan makes me disgusted, let alone any comparison between the two! Judy was messed up and she was not able to function without pills. MGM gave her the pills and that’s where it all started. Old Hollywood stars had relentless schedules and a lot of them took the same pills as Judy. Unfortunately, Judy had an addictive personality. I’m sure no one responsible for Lindsey’s movie career handed her the drugs and alcohol! Judy was also in rehab several times, but when she became healthy, MGM worked her like a horse again.

    I’m sure Judy’s life was much more difficult than Lindsey’s life was or will be. Yes, Judy tried committing suicide, but that was when she was having difficulties in her marriage to Vincent Minnelli. When she died, it was an accidental overdose of barbiturates. Though anyone can make a comparison between Judy and Lindsey due to their addictive personalities, there is one aspect that no one can make a comparison: talent.
